Mr. GM - i'm only 5'8 and I bet we could do some serious damage in the Netherlands lol.

Serious damage in the Netherlands ? try again with stilts.

5.8 is a girls length in the Netherlands.

I'm Dutch and 1.87m (6.1 feet) and which is nothing special. ï'm 35 and most guys in their early twenties are at least 1.90m (6.2)

The average height in Holland would be higher if we didn't count immigrants. They are seriously averaging us down. ( not racist here)

Although my length isn't special in Holland, its huge in most countries. I'm a giant in Asia and South America. Americans aren't that tall either. i was waiting for the ferry in NY with a few hundred people around and there was only one dude my height.

I've come to the harsh realization that tall men (6' - 6.5) to a woman are like girls with a pretty face to a guy.

A homely looking girl can work out, improve her style and develop a great personality to help her chances.
A short guy can work out, improve his style and develop a great personality to help his chances.

but...at the end of the day...you will always be a homely looking woman or short guy that someone is settling for.

Thats fucking Tall lol.
It's kinda sad because i always dreamed about those beautiful dutch girls watching the Orange play in the world cup.Cry

Probably we under 6 feet could get some flags in the netherlands(I've had some girls taller than me here as well),but the ROI of gaming in Holland would be very low.

Houston,tk god I was born in Brazil and you in America , where the gene pool is much more diverse, so the odds are great for us.

I Strongly disagree.
I have super-tall friends (1,90m / 2,00m) who are ugly and socially retarded.They don't get nothing.

On the other hand , I know guys between 1,65 and 1,75 (including myself) who are constantly improving their lifestyle and game , outperforming several taller guys.
And from my experience if you like short girls sometimes the guy who is not very tall gets the upper hand.

in my opinion,
At least where I live:
Handsome/Stylish short guy>Average/ugly Tall guy.

Or do you think that guys like : Robert downey jr , Tom Cruise , Mark Wahlberg , Usher ,Kanye ,Ryan Secreast,Van damme , al pacino (when young) etc

wouldn't pull like crazy if they weren't famous? They would.

Thats so untrue.

Im short and i only came across one tall guy that did better than me in terms of pulling women, although most of people that knew us thought i was pulling more, but i reckon he was pullling 10% more than i was, he used to be my best friend but he wasnt pulling a lot just because he was tall, he had other advantages (dressed really good, he was mad confident, mixed race guy with green eyes and he approached a lotttttttttttt)

So saying that short guys wont do well because they are short doesnt make sense. Most of women are really short so many of them dont care. I had women telling me that i was too short before and next minute i was fucking them...i hardly see my height as an obstacle to pull women although i reckon being tall helps.

I'm not saying short guys WON'T DO WELL when it comes to getting laid. I'm saying women who become involved with short guys are making a compromise.

If a girl is going to make a compromise with me I prefer that compromise to be based on issues with my personality rather than my physical appearance.

An average or skinny tall guy with an awesome personality will get more love from women than a fit short guy with an equally awesome personality.

This may not be the case for Mr. GM but I think his situation represents the minority.

RE: Shoe Lifts
I just wear boots when I want to be a bit taller (cowboy boots especially).

I'm 5'10 without shoes so I don't need much of a boost to hit 6ft.

Never tried lifts, but if Mixx's observations are correct, they seem a bit too uncomfortable to wear.

You could also double up on inserts, I have flat feet so have to wear inserts in dressing shoes otherwise Im in pain within 5 feet of walking, only problem is inserts that I needed kinda hurted (arches are that bad) so I got a light gel half insert to put on top of prescribed inserts and was on cloud 9 and a few inches taller

RE: Shoe Lifts
Fuck lifts ...if I was short I would be fine Cuban Heel /Cowboy Booting it all the way.

I've got a nice pair of cuban heels boots...but I feel a bit awkward wearing them cause it takes me from being 6ft4 to around 6ft 5-6 ....which is getting to far above the average chick.

I wouldn't want to be taller than I am...end up looking far too lanky.

But if you're lacking a few inches off your legs go CUBAN !

I've seen plenty of shorter cats entertaining the tall pussy in the club..cause they've got the VIBE ,a lot of those guys were Latin or Italian and they just didn't give a fuck, and they've got the COHONES TO ENGAGE ,while taller guys act like wallflowers waiting for it to come to them..
...something I've been plenty guilty of over my younger years, because the pussy did tend to come ..but not nearly as much as if I'd made the first moves.Women respect the First move makers, short or tall.
You win some, you lose some ,but try and put the odds in your favour...you only live once!

I only might add that maybe height is more valued in some countries than it is in others ,where facial/physical beauty is more valued than height itself.

At least from my experience in Latin countries, in SA and in Europe ,thats the totem pole of male attractiveness, in that order:

1)Game (Alpha Vibe)
2)Money/Social Proof
3)Looks
4)Height

RE: Shoe Lifts
There's another reason why girls prefer guys that are taller than them, and it has more to do with girls' own self-image insecurities than it does being attracted to big guys.

When standing next to a man, most girls do not want to look bigger. They want to appear more feminine. Taller girls (models) are usually very insecure about this. If you are shorter, and you know what you're doing, it's an Achilles heal that can be exploited.

I am 5'11 1/2" (even my doctor counts the 1/2") and I have always preferred tall girls. While the guys who are 6'2", 6.3" and 6'4" will get more attention, they are leas if them...so those taller chicks (5'6"-5'11") will get with a 5'10-6 foot guy.

Don't be mislead- people in the Northeast are shorter than people in the rest of the country. I was surprised at how tall i felt at 6 feet in New York.

People in the South and parts of the West- especially Texas- are substantially taller.

I have been considering getting heel lifts just as an experiment. After Mixx's success I'm going to go ahead with it.

I dont think they would be comfortable to wear for long periods, but Id say, why not?

Im six feet tall and wouldnt mind a few extra inches.

I'm exactly 6 foot, but people tell me constantly that I'm at least 6-2 or 6-3. Many people have even tried to argue with me about it.

I think it all comes down to my posture and how I carry myself, so I think you can probably achieve and extra inch or two without even using the lifts.

RE: Shoe Lifts
Just got mine:

http://www.amazon.fr/VivReal-Semelle-Tal...talonnette

It adds 5cm so 2".

I m surprised at how comfortable these are actually. At first I bobbled around a bit but after an hour you start getting used to it. Wore it entire day for 7 hour, no problem. Then at night when dancing with them in cuban heels. Hurt like fuck but its because it makes the shoes really tight. You really need shoes half a size bigger.

The best effect is not the height. 2" is nothing, but it makes my body much more proportional, close to the golden ration of 1:1.618

I think when people talk about height they are actually talking about this. Having legs longer than your torso just make you naturally more attractive. See the tall lanky guys who are like walking sticks? They tend be the sorest losers I know. Most tall guys who kill it are usually somewhat ripped and have legs much longer than their torso.

For me personally it boost my confidence to overdrive, and thats good enough

RE: Shoe Lifts
Yeah heels / lifts definitely improve how you look aesthetically by making the legs look longer. I have some Chelseas with 4 cm heels, whereas most of my other boots have around 2cm - 2.5 cm heels, and I look noticeably better in the higher ones both to myself, and to others based on how many compliments I've had when wearing them. I'm 183 (6 feet), and so the 4 cm heels bring me up to 187 cm (6 foot 1 5/8) which is nice. I don't think I'd go above a 4 cm heel though, as they start to look feminine.

Re the height thing and women, a lot of people talking about how being 6 feet tall is an advantage. Honestly, with how tall people are these days, being 6 feet tall isn't really considered tall, and is only enough not to be a disadvantage. It certainly won't get you any special attention anyway. You really need to be around 6'2 (188) for it to be any kind of advantage.

You could try them and see, but with legs that long you might end up looking like you're on stilts. Low waisted jeans could offset that a little though I'm sure.

RE: Shoe Lifts
Actually I've been digging some research and all the hype about height has a lot to do with proportion.

The problem with short people is this: their head is unproportional to their body. You simply can not just "shrink" the head. A 6"6 guy and a 5"4 guy will have a skull very roughly the same size. So obviously putting that skull on a 5"4 frame will definitely make the whole body look out of place. Look at a midget, they have the same skull as us but a tiny body and short legs, that's the problem.

That and the legs proportion is very important. It's the whole idea behind waist rise in pants and high heels and shit.

Tall guys at 5"8-9 have the advantage that their skull size looks good on their respective body, and that their legs fit the golden ratio.

That and the small psychological factor of appearing more dominant, but this is easily achieved with good game and conversational skills. You don't need height for this purpose.

Bottom line is this: You need proportion more than height. Getting jacked also help with this.

And it helps to be taller than the girl you are pulling, preferably 2-3" taller.

Most of the time if you "lose" the girl to another tall guy chances are he has better game than you. Raise your hands if you know a tall guy who is awkward and can't get a date to save his life.

Height is an advantage mostly because most men are all the same: can't dress, out of shape, weak mindset. The only thing that differentiates one from another is height. Its like the most obvious thing to distinguish one person from another. Its an easy metric.

You need to have everything. Almost any disadvantage can be overcome with other advantages. The biggest advantage is your attitude. Period.

I am a little over 5'8". 5'9" at very best. I usually wear all types of boots (Frye, Redwing, Wolverine, RM Williams, etc) which probably add 1" maybe 1.5" depending on what I'm wearing. Not tall at all. Short by some people's standards. But I walk around a club/bar or gym like I own the motherfucker. My head is up. My shoulders are wide. I look people squarely in the eye and damn near look through them. That's what people respond to. If I see a tall man I talk down to him. If I see a muscular man I talk down to him. And if I see a woman I definitely dominate her. Period. Not in a mean or dickish way, but I believe I would be the dominant caveman if I were in a group of Neanderthals. That's just my mindset. And if a woman rejects me I believe she is a fucking idiot because she'll never be hit on by a man like me again. She just missed out on what would have been the best 0.5 to 90 days of her life (however long I would have decided the relationship would last).

I have been wearing this style for the last 10 years (also available in black)

They add 3.2 inchs and are a really good looking boot and the lift is well hidden in the heel.

It all my years of wearing them I have never once been called out for wearing lifts. Quality is good and goes well with jeans.

Cost 80$ from tallmanshoes.com, At 27$ per inch I cannot think of a better game enhancing purchase you can make.

This is spot on.

I've noticed from my past pictures a few years ago when I was 15-20 pounds lighter.

I'm much less proportionate than I am now.

I am 172 cm and to say weight lifting is essential for me to be proportionate is an understatement.

I'm also going to start experimenting with boots with large heels soon. I'd like to know what it's like to stand at 178-180 cm on nights out.

Being 5'8 and proportionate > 6'1 and no proportion poor posture. At least for girls shorter than myself (I don't find girls taller than me as attractive, so I have little experience chasing them).

Are shoes like these (specially made shoes for increasing height) much better than having normal shoes with shoe lifts?

How much extra height can you gain without risking that it will be noticed?

What is the optimum height for gaming? Is 190 cm (6 feet 3) better than 185 cm (6 feet 1)?

They add 3.2 inchs and are a really good looking boot and the lift is well hidden in the heel.

It all my years of wearing them I have never once been called out for wearing lifts. Quality is good and goes well with jeans.

Cost 80$ from tallmanshoes.com, At 27$ per inch I cannot think of a better game enhancing purchase you can make.

Are shoes like these (specially made shoes for increasing height) much better than having normal shoes with shoe lifts?

1.5"-2" is the max you can go without it being obvious from people you know(IMO). You can accomplish close to that with some certain brands of regular shows/boots with a dr. scholl insert or 2 in them. If you are going out just to get laid and don't plan on seeing the girl again 3" is fine. I don't own any shoes like that so others can comment. If you show up to work in 3" heels people are going to know. I remember this one guy I would always see at my work who would wear the exact same pair of tan almost orange looking oxfords everyday. It's not a bad color at all but looks weird when you wear them literally everyday. I then see the same fucking guy at my gym later on and he's now my height wearing the thick soled basketball sneakers. At work he was easy a good 2"+ inches over me. If you are going to go this route for everyday life you need more than one pair of shoes.

What is the optimum height for gaming? Probably 6'3"
