Hi guys,
I'm just wondering if any of you are in Vancouver (Canada) and would like to hit the clubs or day game at the beach or mall. None of my friends are interested in game. They all have girlfriends already, or just like to go out and get hammered and BS with each other. It's a lot of fun, and I still get numbers, but I'd like to work on my sober game a little more and refine my technique (and not make poor, beer goggle induced decisions. lol).

We have some escort-quality street hookers, but I've seen those in a few other cities too (Amsterdam comes to mind). We also have the grossest, most disease ridden ones you'll ever see. It all depends on what part of town you go to.

G: Vancouver is a good place to take a lady friend for a weekend, but Ed Hardy bans aside, our nightclubs suck, though drugs are pretty easy to come by. Cosmopolitan 10s are few and far between as well, though there are lots of 7-9s. Restaurants are good, and the natural scenery is phenomenal.

This is in comparison to California and most of the US, but by Canadian standards Vancouver is in a league of its own.

Girls are approachable, and easy going for sure, but there are a ton of uptight people in Van. Van is weird in that it is Canada's "laid back" city in the west, but it is also uptight because of the money that is in the city.

As for women, it is a good city if you are looking for a sugar momma, lots of middle aged divorcee's with oodles of money looking for young guys to hook up with.

But yes, it is the best commercial street level pot in North America on the west coast, it will get you retarded.

As with all of Canada, with the exception of Quebec, last call is 2 am, and no there is no smoking, unless it is a mob run bar.

Nonetheless a gorgeous city.

I believe last call is at 3 now. Most clubs play top 40. The better clubs are close to $20 cover now, and it's 5$ for single highballs at most places. Not a problem for your average international playboy, but it's hard on a college kid. I will have to start hitting up Yaletown more in order to find a Sugar Momma.

Also, I did a fair amount of partying at Whistler last year during the ski season, and it's no exaggeration to say that a lot of the bars were 4 to 1 guys. You need to get invited to house parties in order to find chicks.

Travelstobang: I haven't been to the Cambie in some time, but I seem to remember that it is where all the scrubs hang out. I usually go to the bars on West Broadway. Those have the odd girl. Or I hit up the Granville Strip once a month. Are you from here?
