Quora.com (Favorite Q&A Site)
I notice that a lot of guys on the forum ask questions about all kinds of topics, not just game-related. With that said, I want to suggest a site some of you may know about, quora.com.

What makes Quora.com unique is that the community of members are very high-quality in that you find some exceptional answers to many types of questions (great questions, at that), which is usually not the case when you google a question, for example.

I joined the site in 2009 when it was released in its private beta version (invite-only). One of my friends works in Silicon Valley and put me on. Even though it's been public since 2010, the quality of the site is still very much in tact. Try it out and see how it works out for you, though this forum has answers you to some questions you probably won't find anywhere else Smile

Strange timing. I just discovered this site yesterday. It would appear it is still invite-only though Sad But you can search it with google.

RE: Quora.com (Favorite Q&A Site)
Here's a Quora answer on RVF, by some former member who was banned:

Quote:I'm was quickly banned from the http://www.rooshv.com forum (it only took me a day) because I began sticking up for women after realizing the forum was full of frustrated, women-hating men who were there to learn how to "get back" at females after being ignored all their lives for not getting laid.

Sad group of men that is. Wish I could help them in person, especially Roosh V himself. He's leading the party into a darker place than they'd started.

It's about loving women, guys. When they can see you genuinely care for them, they have sex with you... And on their own will!

^^ So much about Quora Laugh

The members at that website indeed do have some good answers as far as geography, history, trivia and technology are concerned, but otherwise I have also found them to be insufferable and delusional. They remind of Cracked.com in a different format - very interesting to read, but ultimately parasitic.

Edit: just realised that this thread is a dupe.... going to post in the other thread.

I post questions there - agreed - great trivia answers but in general hopelessly blue pill when it comes to sex and relationships.

I don't think it's invite only, I wasn't invited. If invitations are needed, feel free to PM me.

RE: Quora.com (Favorite Q&A Site)
Quora's members are 80-90% Indians. It started out with the with people in the Silicon Valley startup community (because Quora funded by VCs) but quickly got overtaken by Indians working in Silicon Valley. This in turn attracted Indians from India mostly from those elite technical colleges who aspire to emigrate and be Indians in Silicon Valley.

The reason why they (and other sites) ask you to log in with your facebook login is because quora tracks everything you do online and link it to your actual identity. Once you log in the first time, it can never be undone.

RE: Quora.com (Favorite Q&A Site)
I love Quora, a lot of high quality answers on various topics. Somewhat similar to Stack Exchange (which is great too), but I like the fact that there are less strict rules (a lot of quite interesting questions on Stack gets closed quickly). It is similar to Yahoo Answers, but a lot higher quality. A lot of top people in their fields answer the questions. Great especially for general IT (the kind that gets closed on Stack Overflow) and startup topics.

I don't go there for relationship or dating advice though. It's generally blue pill just like the rest of the world, maybe even moreso due to the IT influence.

Some answers in these topics are pretty good to though, like this, and itis the 2nd most voted answer for this question. Also good retorts to Silicon Valley feminazis in the comments:

Actually, I urge RVF members to write some quality answers to these topics on Quora. If it is quality and logically sound, it will get voted up and discussed. However, you may have to tone it down a bit, just be aware of the intended audience.

You can answer anonymously, of course. Many of my answers are anonymous as they could negatively affect my current employment.

RE: Quora.com (Favorite Q&A Site)
This makes me want to start a "Hilarious things in Quora" lounge.
https://www.quora.com/Dating-and-Relatio...rush-on-FB

Quote:How do I initiate a chat with my crush on FB?
So here are the details : There's this girl on whom I've had a crush since high school. Now, I just want to know about how things are up on her end without sounding too desperate (read IIT). Any tips on how to break the ice?

And this is part of one of the answers

Quote:I'll admit, I'm not the best person to answer this. I waited two months to send a friend request to my crush, another two months to comment "Nice pic" on her profie pic, and another two months to actually think of opening the chat box. This all happened three years ago, so I've advanced a bit (make the two months more like 15 days), but I still suck at the social-network-crush-chat game.

And a downvoted answer

Quote:Dude, read it carefully
as u say u have crush on her since high school, so what are u doing? where u have been so busy?

..have u any information about she had in love with some one? OR she's also still single? If she ..then there in no way other than saying directly (propose her!)

i know it needs a lot daring.. it seems impossible sometimes but it's not.

for this you have to meet her daily, talk with her daily, ask her question like (why? how? ..it initiate the talking between to) ..n ofcourse on studies and something general problem. (do not go with any personal question with her)

and continue with this until she herself come to you and wants help, share her problem with you, and spend most of the time with you. Then it can be the right situation to propose. (It can be ..means she accepts you that is not Garunteed here)

so best wishes for u .. Smile

Shit like this makes me realize why there are more IRTs than other race trolls. Kids there are raised to be omegas giving out omega advice on Quora.

Now, I've probably missed the correct threads, but WHY are Indian guys such total omegas? Because of the arranged marriages they have no concept of game?

Little trick for Quora: If you get this message and don't want to register for whatever reason:

then simply click the address bar (the bit with https://www. quora.com/Whatever) then press enter. You can then view the page properly.

This is because the message is only shown when the you click a link within the website (i.e an internal referer).

That right there has been the typical politics question on Quora for the last eight years - even my dad has commented on it, and he isn't particularly observant or brilliant. There are great questions and answers on there that are informative - but it's more often than not the non-partisan stuff only.

^I've noticed the same; Quora has very high quality commentary on many topics, but when it comes to politics, it's blind regurgitation of SJW talking points. The user base are your typical leftist intellectuals who are capable of critical thinking, but suspend this ability whenever there's an opportunity to virtue signal.

Quora is interesting.

But, I remember seeing a reply to some question by a herbly omega faggot. Something about "what is the dirtiest thing you did in school?" or something like that.

This faggot, under his real name, listing over a decade of work experience in IT (hah!) mentioned in detail the time he saw some side boob or something like that in 6th grade.

It was probably the last time he saw anything female outside of porn.

Ed Latimore posts there. Sometimes he gets voted up as the top reply.

The sex, relationship, feminism, etc. topics are indeed controlled by manginas, white knights, SJWs, etc.

Some stuff, I just don't click on anymore, because I know it's gonna make me mad. Over and over, I see some variant of the question, "My boyfriend hit me. Should I forgive him?" Although here's an interesting one: My boyfriend manhandles me and hits me but I love it. Is there something wrong with me?

However, strangely enough, there's also a lot of pro-Nazi, pro-Hitler, historical revisionism. What's with the inordinate number of questions on Quora each day about Hitler and the Nazis?

Gents, I would strongly advise you not to post Quora's shortened URLs anywhere. You may assume that every user gets the same shortened URL to a question or answer on Quora, but that is not the case. Every user gets a unique shortened URL! That means that it is utterly trivial for Quora to de-pseudonymize you.

^Listen to this answer.

"Let's say there's an average American woman. She's more educated than a man, sometimes outearns him. She has family and friends. She volunteers to save kids in Cambodia. She owns her home that's beautifully appointed and clean. I've seen many ladies like that. Couple of them were even fighter pilots.

If a man wants to join this parade, he's going to have to offer something of value. Like the sum of his parts should at least equal that of hers. He doesn't have to be rich sex god with a 50-foot yacht and Dave Chapelle’s comic skills. But he can't be a sad baggie of a person who lacks confidence and ambition and whom she has to protect from stray dogs and foul weather."

This quote from maybe the best-looking avatar on the page is insightful on what the average woman wants and why the psychos often get the 9s:

"“I would date fire if I could… it’s consistent in its heat, but it’s always unpredictable and shifting in its momentary form.”

She doesn't care that it can and often does burn her. She doesn't care that she's been told since childhood not to play with it. She doesn't care that if she provokes it with the right fuel, it might blow up in her face. All that matters is the thrill. Women really are children.

Quote:I am an entrepreneur, lawyer, wife, and a mother of two boys. After immigrating from Uzbekistan to US 17 years ago, I went to law school and worked as a litigator for 10+ years.
