I just got back from a place called insomnia(strip club by day nnightclub from 4-8. The only thing anyone did was shuffle. it's not really my scene so I sat in a chair waited for girls to walk by. No numbers tonight. My buddy got one in the mens restroom though.

You need to do lots of reconnaissance when arriving in a new town, or when you're new to the bar/club scene... keep going to a different club/bar every night and try to figure out what your niche is.

Night club game isn't dead- its just shifted almost entirely to drinking and grinding. Its too loud and there is too much energy inside the club itself to run verbal game; if you're in a packed club with blasting music your best bet is to run caveman game. In that sort of environment you need to distinguish yourself from all the other male competitors- and the best way to do so is to make the women think that you're better then other options. Aggressive dominant behavior quickly seperates you from the beta herd and is pretty much your only option when a club becomes so packed that body language and what you're wearing become almost irrelevant to attacting women- none of the chicks can see more then the 1-2 people surrounding them at one time. Unless you're good looking, well built, and have the right vibe- this is going to be very much a crap shoot with alot of rejections. If this bothers you- man up; Edison got rejected by Mother Nature 10,000 times before she gave up the honey pot of the electric light bulb- your odds are considerably better.

For those who hate dance/caveman game and want to work on their verbal game, as it will serve them as they continue to age, Clubs are a bad idea- you're better off with lounges.

However, if you're going to a club for some reason anyway, you still have some options.
1. Go earlier- you can talk to the girls inside before the place becomes heated; you can transition to dance/caveman game as the night progresses. If things don't work out with the early girls then you get the added benefit of seeming pre-selected to any girls who notice you as the place becomes more crowded.
2. Talk to girls in line- self explanitory; limited time however makes it difficult to build attraction enough to make her want to stay with you once inside- too many other options.
3. Go outside and smoke- my favorite, carry a zippo and you have a perfect opener- "Let me give you a light.". Transition into DHV bait opener from there.

Okay, for me, living in a big city like Los Angeles, I can tell you that from first hand experience all of my friends and I count exclusively on night game. In a big city, a lot of people work and have busy schedules, and its just too difficult and time consuming to spend afternoons hitting on random chicks while I am sober, if I even were to have the time to do so. On the contrary, you can go out from Wednesday through Saturday, and as P Dog says "high end places will always have good ratios of guys to girls", and this brings your value up. A couple of my friends and I go out, and for a couple of hundred bucks, we have a killer table in a cool nightclub, and never have less than 20 to 30 girls swing by our table, and we then open up sets and try to escalate. Most of us end up hooking up, but not always do we end up bringing chicks home. Other times we have managed to pull and slay chicks that same night. Thats how a lot of guys roll here in LA, night game is just a fact of life if you want to get high quality chicks. I can see how other cities, though like Medellin (just went there last X-mas/ New Years) day game is a must. When we were in Medellin, there were no girls in the bars and clubs you could hit on because all the girls go out with guys in a group. So, it also depends where you live. I am basing my opinion on bigger metropolitan cities, but Sao Paolo and Rio definitely have good night game, and it is possible to escalate chicks (6s to 8s) very quickly, and have them come home with you.

I think it depends what age you are not just the place you live.

20's Definitely clubbing is a big thing..loud,drunk etc
30's Still a bit of clubbing in the early 30's but moving more towards bars

Clubbing in huge venues with techno thumping in my ear is not my idea of a good time..even in my 20's unless I was off my head on E or something.
Rubbish for meeting new talent from my experience.

I've always met girls in bars where I could talk easily with them.

GM I liked the botecas just sitting there on Rua Augusta with a beer watching the people pass...I guess the High End talent doesn't hang out at those places...Fuck em.. I like it

I went out last night to a Club in Vila Madalena SP to meet with Intl.Swagger , and honestly , nowadays I think that clubs are exactly for this purpose : Having a good time with friends or to enjoy the music.

Going to clubs with the only purpose of pulling chicks just won't do it anymore for me.

The ROI is too low , you spend a lot and in the end most times you'll leave with some phone numbers , a couple kisses (specially in Brazil) and that's it.

Day game or chilled Spots like those Botecos on Augusta that you mentioned are waaay better than spending money on the mainstream club scene.

He actually has decent game, but for whatever reason is a major wallflower, so I got to keep myself in a "game state of mind", or I'd just end up shooting the shit with him all night and never approach.

Excellent point Nor Cal brings up, "pussy just has to be a byproduct of having a good time." I kind have adopted this approach a while ago, you have to be able to go out with your buddies, open up sets, but at least, if you don't go home with someone you enjoy the whole experience, getting buzzed, listening to good music, and gaming.Otherwise, as you say, you will be disappointed the next day if you have so many expectations placed upon yourself.

good one. I had a usual club scenario last night.

We get there early its a friend of a friends birthday, you cant get in without a student card. There were 6 girls from Brazil said someone told them this venue was good on wednesdays (maybe they saw my vancouver data sheet) so they asked us to be our +1s to get in, i tell them only if they buy us a drink. didnt add much time, they peaced it right after they got in WHACK.

20 minutes in the birthday boy is barfing in the bathroom (luckily I didnt have to take him home)

I asked around about this right in the beginning and the responses were that people just didn't want to risk driving late. The term strength in numbers was used a few times. So from what I see most girls go out in groups to clubs with the illusion that one of them is the designated driver(she only gets half plowed and cockblocks) but in a happy hour scenario you will see women showing up alone. Go sit in a parking lot at a busy happy hour type place and you will see. So what are your chances of pulling a girl who came with three girlfriends into a place where dudes are hardwired to run lame game and cockblock against a place were people go to decompress after work? Also, the fact that girls will reject you to show her friends that she has high standards at the club. The same girl would give you love in a different place.

My choice...Take a good look at the venues available in your area and find places that are not a nightclub but can erupt into one at a moments notice. Lets say there's a dancefloor but nobody ever uses it and a upstairs bar that's usually dead. Add a decent live band and it's on. The bad competition will be sleeping at the clubs and not have a clue a pussyfest is happening right down the road. Bitch shields are low and these places usually make cheaper stronger drinks.

I just can't work up the excitement to go to clubs (or even bars for that matter) anymore unless I'm out with my friends and just looking to chill.

How the hell are you club/bar guys able to do this night after night? It's seriously time to start honing my daygame skills, as this is looking to be the only option for me.
