I've really been struggling to find a decent online Thai language resource until I stumbled across http://www.everyday-thai.com/learn_thai_...index.html

They are a language school in Bangkok that have free online lessons. I started using the beginners lessons yesterday here and have already picked up loads. They have tons of free stuff with written words in English / Thai / Karaoke Thai as well as audio files and focus on you learning the most common words which is exactly what I was looking for! For me it's the best way to learn any language.

It works for me. I learnt a fair bit yesterday and will learn more again today.
