A woman should give the child unconditional love. A man should give it conditional love, discipline and direction.

^^^ I know this might be an unpopular view to have on a sex/game forum, but I have to agree with what you said. You know what really brought this issue home to me in an emotional way? It's when I was watching the unfolding spectacle of those Chilean miners being rescued one by one. Every one of them had their teary-eyed wives and kids waiting for them at the top after being trapped underground for weeks. What could be better after such an ordeal than having your kids running up to jump in your arms? If that didn't bring home what it means to have a family, I don't know what would. I couldn't imagine anything more depressing than being the lone 45 year old bachelor
being rescued that has nobody waiting for him up top while all the other men are celebrating with their families.

I have to think that at a certain point in the future, the loneliness that comes from a life of endless one night stands will become harder to bear than losing the novelty of chasing new women. Maybe that realization will come to some guys at 25, for others maybe 55, but I think most guys at some point will decide that they've had their fun and they're ready for something more permanent in their life. Eventually, having to "play the game" perpetually is going to get tiring. At 35 I'm already now starting to feel my age at some bars and clubs. Can't imagine being there at 50. If you've had your fun and then found a great woman who takes good care of herself and would make a good mother, I think marriage is something to consider.

Also as Pilgrim said, the friendship issue comes into play. I have friends that are married and since they've gotten hitched, I'm not as close to them as we used to be. Not due to any avoidance, it's just a lifestyle difference. Whereas we used to go out hunting for girls in our mid 20s, now he's inviting me to his kid's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I go because he's one of my best friends and I known the dude since I was in elementary school. I like his kids and I'm fully supportive of his family life. But while there, I'm surrounded by a sea of young families with small kids, and of course everyone is talking about their kids and family life and I just can't relate. As you get older, more and more of your friends are going to cross that line and you will have fewer people you can relate to. Maybe the exception is the rich, playboy bachelor always surrounded by young hotties like Hugh Hefner or Richard Branson, but needless to say, that lifestyle isn't realistically attainable for most men.

I don't think this is true. There are things women can do better than men and viceversa. Have you guys ever seen a really good mom and a really good dad? Its better for kids to see the healthy feminine energy of a good mom and the strong masculine energy of a good dad who leads.

I also think grandparents should be essential to raising kids. The wisdom that older people have can be very enriching.

You misunderstood the post. I don't state that women CAN'T be good parents. I'm merely saying that women aren't automatically better parents just because they're women. Men are every bit as capable of nurturing their children, and it's only certain biological functions that separate men and women with regard to child rearing.

On top of that you can educate your children in international schools. Top notch education before university is possible and affordable in some countries. We all know how the public school system is going down the tubes here, so if they miss the prom by being in a foreign country well it's no big deal.

The social connections you get by being involved in such an environment can work in your favor. All the big shots in that society will send their kids to these schools. You and your kids will make important social circle contacts.

As for not marrying, just don't do it in the west. Do it in a country where you aren't treated below a dog.

I understand why some people are antagonistic towards marriage when all you see around you are failed marriages. I sympathize with some of these statements.

Your post describes pretty thoughtless and controlling women. I know plenty of those exist. But I would like to think that there are nurturing women out there who would also make good life-long partners.

There's definitely a sense of comfort that comes from a partner that I don't think you can get anywhere else. A good wife is like a good life-long friend, plus some, if it's done right. Unfortunately, we live in a "me society" and people don't very well understand the concept of putting others before self.

Another thought I had touches on your ideas of monotony. This might be a crazy thought but do you think that some women are opening to experiencing "variety" with you? Surely women are just as concerned with getting bored in bed as we are. I'm sure that given a good wife you can think of ways to diversify things. Hell, some people are cool wife-swapping and group sex from time to time just to get things moving again. Doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Honestly, I am looking forward to getting married. I do have exceptional standards for the girl I'll be committing to however, something that I think a lot of people lack. I think the key is openness, honesty, and genuine respect for each other. If you can't talk to each other about anything and if you don't truly love each other, then there is no sense in both of you making a life-long commitment.

Here's one from yesterday..My cousin got into an arguement with his wife and she said she's leaving with the kids. So he tries to stop her and she called tried to call the cops and he took her cell phone. When she got it back she called them and they came and arrested him for domestic violence and tampering with a witness (taking phone from her) Now he can't see his kids or go to his house that he just did a quarter mil in upgrades to. I'm sure she cleaned out his bank accounts. I told him not to get married and I told him to file on her when she went up north to visit her parents and threatened to stay there with the kids. Now look at him. He's fucked.

People think of so many lies to say after marriage. Solution; don't get married in the first place as you said. Marriage was probably invented by a beta male if i could guess.

In addition, something that you see commonly is people with families enjoy Christmas and Easter time like there is no tomorrow because the rest of the 11 months of the year, they live in misery.
