I totally disagree about the big butts. Most Filipinas have small to no asses. I've seen the girls wear butt pads to get bigger looking butts. Neil I would agree with you if he had been there on a tourist holiday for a week but he was there for three and a half years. After that length of time in a country I believe you are entitled to an opinion on a place and I think he probably made some valid points about things that are messed up over there and would fuck off any long term resident.

I've been in the Phils for 6 months and about a year in 15 other Asian countries. Pretty much all of them. It never bothered me because i know i was in a third world country where this is normal. The guy is there 3.5 years, probably because he has a girlfriend there. Nobody puts a gun to his head and forces him to stay. He can go back to the states and live in some gated neighborhood. Let him live in New Delphi or Jaipur in India for a while. He will crawl back on his knees to the Phils and kiss the ground there. You haven't seen dirty if you haven't been to Jaipur.

I went to India in 2008 on a package tour with a group of Dutch, totally different form what i'm doing now. I had never did much traveling and never left Europe. India was the worst country in the world to start traveling and i was near death sick but when i think back about india i have good memories. I liked Nepal way more though.
