I always thought I was addicted to masturbating but I came to the conclusion that I can barely masturbate without watching porn at the same time. I take 30 minutes to reach climax without porn and only 5 mins with porn. I don't feel like masturbating at all if it's without porn. Porn also kills my libido to the point where I don't even want sex anymore and prefer porn over sex. 2 weeks ago I tried to quit porn and masturbating for 1 week. It really went well until I fell back into my old habits of porn & masturbating. If you quit masturbating and porn for a week you will really feel what being horny really means. You'll feel like raping every whore on the street. Any pointers you guys can give me to help quit porn?

Don't try and kick both habits (masturbating and porn) at the same time. You currently have sexual pleasure/masturbation associated with porn, so if you relapse on one, then you will relapse on the other. Try kicking the porn habit first.

Dont quit it, just step it back. I only go for softcore cam-whore style stuff now, with the occasional POV I think its the depth that most porn gives you into sex that starts to desensitize guys. When you've seen a woman shove the equivalent of a bowling pin up her ass a few times you run out of shit that you find "Exciting"

But for real for real. I have the sex drive of a rabbit. I've been on a steady diet of porn since like grade 6 and Its damn unhealthy. I am convinced this shit has messed with my mind because recently I would say a year ago from now. I've been nutting mad quick, PE has set its self in. Prior to this I could barley get hard (fixed up my diet, got back in the gym.. that solved that) but now I'm nutting mad quick. I can box that clown for a good hour plus If I want to. but when its live and direct its rap. I admit thought, I've been living off SNL and random as hell bangouts, the last time I boned a girl I actually had a smidgen of feelings for things we're all good - but my porn diet back then was slim, so I don't know how and where to draw these conclusions.

Porn is no good, everybody should view it in moderation. Our generation going forward is going to put forward a lot of interesting things for people to study. The Porn proliferation can't be healthy long term.

I guess like any addiction ween yourself off slowly. I am hoping my current addiction to the gym takes the place of porn. Only issue is that testosterone spike after the gym got my looking and acting like this....

I recently quit watching porn/masturbating; for me, it was about 8-9 days until the desire to bang everyone remotely attractive came under control. Unfortunately, there's no shortcut; you have to stick it out, and different mental tricks work for everyone. Try to quit for 30-40 days, at least. For me, I wrote a list of all the reasons I wanted to stop and looked at it every time I wanted to cave; the most helpful was the reminder that it's incredibly unsatisfying after the fact.

Well Donald, I don't know if you have regular freaks that you can nutt in. If you do and you still wank, then breaking this can be tricky.

It really started with porn pics only. After that I started watching videos when I got faster internet. Nowadays there's shit like HD porn which makes it look real as hell. I've tried watching 'softcore' porn like webcams but it doesn't do anything for me anymore. When I get a heavy urge to watch I try to do something else and that works 9/10 times. So it's not that I am completely helpless.

For now I blocked those sites. It gives me an extra peace of mind knowing that I can't just go to the site and watch. This thing really is a PORN addiction, not a masturbating addiction... I don't feel like masturbating at all if it's without porn.
