Possibly. I was advised by a local dude (who seemingly got his way with the local girls) that I should lie, saying that I was Brazilian but moved to Hawaii at a young age, just so I'd have a better chance with those girls.

I don't think the girls were warm at all. Or they have a very singular way of expressing it... particularly with their use of the F word ().

Jokes aside, I'd say the girls I had a better impression of were those of Philippino-Hawaiian decent. They were more touchy and more engaging, but were arrogant, flaky, attention-whoring like crazy and what nots. They were the less bitchy and bitter and jaded of the lot though.

Seemed to be the -only- getting consistent action with the local talent. I met, thus, those Hawaiian guys that were lacking some or all of the former that were in dire conditions, complaining about their local girls as well.

I do not see it as mere coincidence that I saw local Hawaiian guys going for the international girls in Waikiki in much greater numbers than local Hawaiian girls doing the equivalent. Heck, I barely remember seeing the Asian-Hawaiian girl type in Waikiki at all. Yet, the guys there were making their effort to try and get it on with the euro babes and the girls from the mainland.

I see Hawaiian guys going for foreign girls instead of their own as indication of the hardships they face. That would be plausible, taking for instance the very good guy-girl ratios I saw over the venues these Hawaiian girls went (Tsukiji, Mai Tai, Pearl). The "average" Hawaiian guy must know that their chances are better with the more international crowd in Waikiki.

I realised that I have an unedited update that I left saved in my HD. It was written on my last few days over in Hawaii, where I make sort of a final conclusion and sum-up of what I feel is the scene there. As I'm home now, I'll have more time to edit and proofread it to put it here.

There's definitely something wrong with a lot of those younger generation American girls...is it all down to social networking,internet etc?
Well,that seems to be the only other social change in the world.

But ,parenting and culture is a big thing with this rudeness,slag behaviour.I haven't encountered it so much outside of the Anglosphere.

Basic respect seems to be thrown out the window.

Agreeing with Amour. The local girls here are all about LTR with guys from their social circles. When they go to clubs, they go with a huge crowd of female and male friends and their friends will cockblock the jizz out of you. The only place that seems to be good for slaying local pussies is the beach. But that is only if you are the surfer dude type with an awesome body.

I just saw the Hawaii data sheet. It's got some holes in it.

First off, that's really a Honolulu Data sheet, and the title should be changed.

Second, not a single mention of any beach game at all, in fact, no day game whatsoever?

Did you come to Hawaii because there is two dollar Pabst Blue Ribbons Tuesday nights on Lewers Street? Do I live in Hawaii because they have two dollar beers at tourist traps on Tuesday?

When you read magazines about Hawaii does Moose's Tavern come up or does Pipeline?

I'll assume you are staying at a Waikiki hotel? I'll also assume your time here is limited.

Start off at Femme Nu or Rock-za. Rock-za is at the corner of Kapiolani and Kalakaua. Right across the convention center. Femme Nu is towards downtown about 200 yards.

Explain to the dancers that you are on a business trip what not. These places close at 2 so get a dancer to head somewhere else with you. They all jump all over offers like this. Tonight is your perfect opportunity and Tuesdays are just as good. You want to head to V-lounge behind Ala Moana, or Mac in the Hilton Waikiki. Stick to those because strippers generally do not go to them unless with a dude, plus they are quiet.

If you strike out at the strip joint continue toward downtown and start looking in the Korean/Viet hostess bars. Be sure to hit Diamond's Behing Saigon Passion. DO NOT GO IN SAIGON. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. If you strike out at diamond check the one's along the way till you get to Michelle's. Go in there.

The trick with bargirls is not to buy them more than one drink. You gotta hook them in the 15 minutes it takes them to drink what you buy. I can do it. You can do it.

This is my best advice considering your vacationer status and your disdain for the beach.

One of my best friends live 15 blocks from Waikiki....I just convinced him to break up with his fiancee and kick her ass back stateside and it will be done by end of August...

I am planning to take a week off work and take a sunday to sunday trip to Honolulu...my goal is two fold

1. Learn to surf. Its been my life long dream to learn to surf in hawaii and i am about to realize it. I am already built like a surfer and in great shape so hoping to pick it up pretty fast and live the lifestyle of relaxation and catching waves for a week.

2. Get swoopalicious. Been in the waikiki area which supposedly is tourist haven/hell. I intend to capture a flag or two from the tourista domain...

My goal is to spend whole day at the beach taking surfing lessons and practicing and running game whereever I can during day time and then run night game at lounges/restaurant bars along shore..

Any thoughts/tips...my buddy is just released into wild so he is just going to salsa clubs and says there is potential there..he is a great salsa dancer and i am ok so i might try that venue too.

Also what time is best during fall to catch the best waves and babes?

I live in Waikiki. The basic rule is that South Shore is good in the summer and North Shore is good in the winter, so fall is sort of the in between period. It also falls in the slower season for tourism, between summer and the holidays. So I'd say Sept or Oct. The sooner the better.

In general, I think this town is more suited to the day gamer at least for girls that live here. The two chicks that I've hung out with in the past week, were both approached while in the lineup surfing. One at Queens and one at Canoes. Those lineups generally have the most babes. Beach game and game on Kalakaua in Waikiki are pretty good too. I ran a lot of bus game before I got a car and I have in the past few weeks started working for myself and am now doing a lot of coffee shop game, which seems really promising.

Night game can be varied. My two most productive spots are Moose's and Duke's (loud "party" bar vs. beach front restaurant). They are different scenes for sure but I tend to do well almost every time I go to one of them. But there are many, many more options.

You'll have some pretty ample flag opportunities too. I picked up Taiwan on an SNL last Tuesday. I've put away a few other Asian countries and some South Americans too. There are plenty of Europeans and Aussies to but I tend to go ABC when it comes to women (Anything But Caucasian) so I've not gotten any Euro flags in my 6 months here.

I love Hawaii.

I've heard the salsa scene here is actually pretty good but I've not taken part it in. I'd like to check it out sometime.

Any of the hostels on Lemon are pretty much filled with your typical hostel crowd. Its mostly international types who are here for a long holiday and what not. They are kind of grimey but the people that stay there all seem to bond together very quickly. I imagine you could get laid there very easily.

If you want to learn to surf in one week I suggest you get a pro to teach you. You want to get lessons from someone who legitimately teaches surfing, not a company that organizes tours of people so they can go out in the water and get their picture taken looking like they went surfing.

The best is probably Sunset Surratt, but you're learning is gonna be based on whether there's waves in North Shore when you're here or not. Uncle Bryan and his people run a tight ship and have been teaching people to surf for years. Another GREAT one is Buttons Surf School. Buttons is a living legend, and it's worth buying a lesson just to meet him.

If you're sticking to the south shore (which you probably are) you should use Hans Hedemann. They'll get you up, just make sure you keep them on the surfing path. They got decent instructors. Plus, they are below Lulu's in Waikiki so you can go there afterwords. If you can't get laid in Lulu's on a Monday night, you don't deserve to have testicles.

Go to Addiction in the Modern hotel. I can't believe the amount of ass in that place every night it's open. I also can't believe how much they charge for drinks. If you get in the place you will get laid. Another place I always kill is The Mai Tai bar at the Royal Hawaiian and the Beach Bar at the Moana Surfrider. Hit the Halekulani too. Those three places are all on the beach, and should cover your shoreline question.

I don't know if they have too many straight up salsa clubs. What your friend probably does is goes to salsa night at some of the bigger clubs. It says Just Tacos has one, that is a great spot to get laid as it is, it's just in Mililani, which is suburb land, and also DUI land so watch out.

If by "party" you mean meth and toothless hookers you can stay at the Pacific Ohana. If you don't smoke crack, I recommend you stay so far away from that place. Walk on the other side of the street when you pass it. The other hostel is recently renovated, but it's just not as good as the Polynesian. Those people do it right at that place. They got tons of girls, a little store, moped rental, and a guy that sells great food at night. It's also in really good condition. You'll like it.

I've been here a bit over 6 months and have made a very earnest effort to gather as much data on this place as possible and still, every time Kona drops Oahu knowledge, I find myself learning something. Mahalo for all of it brah....

I still intend to try out the strip club to MAC move you posted about recently. I live so close to MAC that it could be golden. That's not a P4P type thing is it? I'm under the impression from your post that its just a stripper swoop.

Also, Kona, do you think it'd be worth it for me to plan on paying for a few sessions at one of those North Shore surf schools once the swells start rolling in? I need to get some comfort in bigger surf. I've got a few friends that I can go with but if these schools are really legit they might be good at shortening my learning curve.

This. 100% this. I actually only find a few things in Hawaii more expensive that they were back East (I pay about $250 less per month in rent + utilities here actually) and nightlife is one of them.

The problem is that most of the places that stay good past about midnight charge cover. So if you are rolling dolo and trying to find the best spot, that can be a huge hit to your $$$. Then, I plan on $20 per round of drinks (one for me, one for the girl). It can add up quickly and that doesn't even account for taxis or food. Taxis will rape you here, especially if you are used to NYC or other major city cab fares. I've been making attempts to get in with bouncers to mitigate the cover charge damage.

Kona is right about Addiction. Tons of really nice talent but it is $20 at the door, tough to get in if you aren't rolling with chicks or have a connection, and its expensive as fuck. I know the guy at the door and I've still had to pay 1 time out of the 3 that I've been there.

Kona, have you checked out The M at restaurant row (The Standard)? I've been picking up some buzz on that place but have yet to go.

The good thing about the hotel/restaurant/lounge type bars is that they don't charge cover but very few of them have much of anything going on past midnight so you have to get an early start.

I find it very interesting that all the places Kona mentioned (Halekulani, Moana Surfrider, etc...) are my typical date places. I've never really scoped them for potential to swoop. What's your move in those places Kona? Just grabbing a seat/drink and waiting for a good candidate to come along and then selectively approach? That's basically my move at Duke's although when it gets real crowded its a little more conducive to moving around a little more, especially when they have music on the lanai.

Kelly O'Neils is another good bet. No cover spot and it will stay open and fun till late (4am). They also always have pretty good cover bands playing classic rock in there. Another move you can try is to hit up Lava Rock in the International Marketplace around 10:00pm. No cover and this is the first stop on the pub crawl. You'll find some drunk tourist girls looking to have fun. The booze cruises are also good for that. About $20-30 for all-you-can drink and this time of year the sunset cruises are just packed with partiers.

You can try your hand on Japanese girls at Genius Lounge. That's another date spot of mine, but it has no cover and there are always some very sexy, classy, fashionable Japanese girls in there.

I've never even heard of Vice, I'll have to check it out.

All of that said, if you don't do day game here, you are selling yourself short. I was a big club-game fan back East and rarely did any day game. So I had to work on it pretty hard once I got here, but those efforts have really paid off. There are endless opportunities during the day, especially if you are active and outdoor-oriented. I am also trying to build my own income streams right now without any "real" job, so the budget savings in day game are very important given the cost of going out here.

Finally, the thing I really love about girls here is that there is a bit of everything. Local chicks. Mainland transplants. Asian transplants. International exchange students. Tourists from the US and abroad.

If you aren't having success on one of those groups, you can either evaluate your approach (I don't really hit on local chicks in night game for example, they are much more receptive in day game or social circle) or just switch to another group.

I also think if you really have your shit together, this is a place where you can just be swimming in pussy. Each of those groups has a corresponding group of guys and I have not seen many examples of guys that are able to successfully get girls in more than one of those categories so competition can be leveraged. For example, many local guys I know are pretty poor with non-local chicks. I suspect that they are so used to having deep, embedded social circle connections to so many beautiful locals girls that when they have to actually cold approach a girl that they don't have that commonality with, they get a bit lost (what do you think Kona?). Same goes for the international exchange guys. Hopeless on mainland or local girls for the most part. Every now and then I'll see a guy from the mainland with game successfully working a Japanese girl or an exchange student but I think a legit player can move between all the groups pretty easily if he knows what's what.

This post is intended for Kona or anyone with current Hawaii knowledge. I have family that lives in Hawaii and was planning on taking an extended trip here esp with the free place to stay. Also, younger female cousins with friends who burn. I still need to figure out exactly where they live, Ill update that.

From reading your posts in the original Hawaii thread I was very inspired, but this datasheet has thrown me for a bit of a loop. I really have no desire to go to Honolulu and am into the beach game. Your original posts were from 09 and I wanted to know if they still stand or some adjustments need to be made. Also, this is my first post and I'm glad to be here. I'm 28 going on 29 and have been saving up to travel for the entirety of being 29 to multiple destinations. Looking to make 29 a year to remember.

Waikiki beach, anywhere from the giant movie screen down to Duke's would be prime hunting grounds as well, but mostly tourist. Diamondhead has a lot of sexy surfer chics, be careful to not wander into the gay nude beach, unless thats your thing. Not sure of North Shore, but always have seen babes around Sunset, and Haleiwa. Booze cruise was the best investment. All you can drink liquor/beer for $25 (Make sure to tell them you are a repeat customer for $5 off).

Bar hopping was the worst investment. $50 to go to 5 literally empty bars with the same group of 15 dudes and 4 fugly chicks. First drink is free, but the rest you have to pay extra.

Senior frogs on a $1 night was awesome. I can't wait to go back in June.

I think I'm going to dip my toe into this whole extended travel thing. Two weeks at a hostel on Lemon Rd. What do you think? That should give me plenty of time to explore the island. Some of the college kids I met there last time were staying for 1-2 months.

Thanks for the info Amour. I am actually going to Waikiki beach on Thursday and staying for a week. I guess I can just relax, enjoy the beach, hiking...etc. Take a week off from women now.

First impressions: lots of Japanese girls! They are very approachable but I don't think they are DTF.
The place is like Miami beach but with one major difference: everyone seem to be down to earth. You can talk to anyone and chances are they will talk to you. No Bitch shields at all!
I am thinking to get a place here when I make enough money..someday. Jgirls are hot! This is by far the best pace for day game. Logistics are not that good however. Most girls travel with someone..so you have to plan accordingly.
