Hey Roosh, I am a huge fan of your work and your posts and intend to buy Day Bang as soon as possible but I was just wondering if going on a dry streak for a year is something to be worried about. I started telling myself rejection isnt a horrible thing after reading your post on approach anxiety and it has helped but I feel like I forgot everything about women since my last ex (which may I add was a 4). Help me if you can.

1 year dry streak is just unthinkable as a male in modern day society unless you are 14 years old (age I lost my virginity).


I would start thinking of a trip overseas just to get you over your hump quick. Think Brazil for quick results.

I had a similar cold streak and it did cause me to discover Roosh V's work and Game. Mine was 8 months though and after cracking and hitting up rub downs, I got frustrated and resented what my life was becoming. I hit rock bottom, but picked my self up and slowly started learning game. I ended my Cold Streak 2 months after having my epiphany. It was a shitty lay, I swear the woman had Progeria because her face and body (with clothes on) matched her spoken age of 22... but yet when I got her naked her body looked closer to 43, and with her funny ass accent, was not shaved any where. I thought she was a smuggled in whore for Eastern Europe. Needless to say a notch is a notch right but after I at least was able to start to take notice of what things I was doing to attract Women, started to shift focus from chasing broads to not giving a fuck and have them chase me.

Stay focused, things will get better man. I was in your shoes not that long ago (March maybe?). This site is informative and Rooshs tools help a lot.

Feel your pain man.. I had a 5 month dry spell broken recently with an ex girlfriend. I haven't tapped any new pussy in almost a year. No one to blame but myself I just need to approach alot more.

I don't think it's such a rare occurrence, it's just that it's rationalized away through "eventually you'll meet someone who deserves you" and "love and pain always go together". Truth be told, given how spread out it is, I wonder why Game hasn't become more mainstream.

Now, I am just pulling numbers out of my ass now, but I think that the portion of male population that routinely goes through 1 year or longer cold streaks is at least 20%.

Oh I agree with you. I think its even higher than 20%, I just thought that I personally, would have paid for a prostitute by my 7th month, but I have not gone that much without sex since I was 15.

i don't think I could ever go without sex for that long, I'd just end up killing someone or robbing a bank - fuck it!

Its funny but truth be told its hard to imagine scarcity when you live in such abundance. You really have to put yourself in a beta's mind, body, lifestyle, everything to really understand how someone can go through a 1 year dryspell.

I went through one and though one from 21 to 22 and it was terrible but not unimaginable. But now that I have some game my 5 month dry spell at the end of my 24th year of life was even more hard on me and depressing than my 1 year one earlier in life. Now if I had a 1 or 2 month dry spell I think it would be even worse!

I guess standards change. Like I think even 1 or 2 weeks for the likes of Roosh, G, or mixx would be something noteworthy for them while for me and many others it wouldn't be that big a deal at all.

Ive been approaching a few girls at my school, but just to test my limits and develop a good sense of style, and so far ive had a lot of good responses, like them playing with their hair, looking at me, and laughing at my not so funny jokes, but i just need to get over my fear of rejection, i keep telling myself over and over that it isnt bad, which i learned from Roosh's article on Approach Anxiety (very informative), the first kiss is something that i hesitate on, but with the next girl i get closer with i will make sure i get over that fear.

I was in your shoes a while ago after I broke up wt my xgf of 2yrs.....I could have probably banged 1 or 2 girls within weeks/months of this breakup but I just wasn't too interested in their mediocrity...I moved away for school to what happened to be the lamest college in the u.s. possibly even the world....pushing 1yr like yourself but then did a study abroad trip to brazil, best thing that ever happened to me...really changed my life, it can change yours too

1 thing that helps with kisses is starting slow....i think I read this advice in rooshs book or maybe somewhere else. I like to start off holding their hand first while walking somewhere say into the movies or w/e your at. If she holds your hand your in there for the kiss...if you want to take it a step further on the way out hold her hand again but this time give her a little test, hold hands then squeeze her hand, if she squeezes back shes down to kiss....I then squeeze her hand again and I then throw her hand away and let go, then I grab her hand back and then I quickly pull her right up to my mouth for the kiss
