I feel myself straying away from the LES a bit because it just feels like more of the cliquish college vibe in a lot of parts. Hate to once again run into barriers because most girls are heading out with their large social circle of bros and hoes still trying to hang out to their fraternity sorority days. It just seems to give off that kind of vibe of the place where everyone from Big 10, SEC, ACC and large colleges just moved there and only want to stay with their cliques.

It might be that I am assuming because the city I was in before NYC, the whole scene was all based around who you knew in college in your 20s and the LES whenever I have gone has given off that vibe at a lot of the bars.

Meatpacking seems to be somewhat more open and a lot less social circle based from my experience, it seems possible to run game there without constantly coming across massive cockblocking social circles.

Then again take my opinion with a grain of salt, haven't gamed in Manhattan for long and I do not bother to approach in the LES when I do go because girls are out with their cockblock crew of bros and hoes.

I would hate that. I booked nyc from 16-24 april to specifically experience a city without that clique thing. Here in germany and probably most part of the worlds it is all about social circle, which sucks if you are not in a sc with hot women. I hope that is only in les manhatten the case.

Guys, what's the night life like in NYC on a Sunday? I'm going to be there tomorrow until Tuesday on a short work trip and would appreciate some intel. I'll be staying in the Brooklyn area.

The only girls I find to be status hoes in NYC are girls that would normally be status hoes elsewhere, the typical early 20s basic white girl (or anyone a part of that culture) who is trying to be cool. Other than that, I'd say NYC women are pretty chill compared to the status whoring I have witnessed in other cities.

What I have experienced godzilla is that New Jersey girls or Jersey girls who come to NYC to party are usually the iciest and biggest status hoes out there. Unfortunately the club scene in Meatpacking, from what I have witnessed so far, is full of them which sucks. Same with Jersey people in general, they take that holier than thou "I am smarter than you because I don't live in this overpriced borough" that irritates me. Yeah I wish I had to take the fucking PATH to the city so I could get wasted, fuck off.

My experience with New Yorkers in Manhattan has actually been pretty good, that includes the girls who I find quite approachable as a guy started to approach again after years and not get too tied down with the online dating scene. Went out to Williamsburg last night, never in a million years thought the girls would be so nice and approachable!

I think in general, women who actually have it tend to be more secure and less inclined to overcompensate by being status hoes. It is always women who are above average but lacking in other areas that tend to be status hoes since they are genuinely insecure about their standing.

Went out to visit an old acquaintance I knew from college in Hoboken (really only talked to him a few times but we were connected on social media so as soon as I moved to NYC he wanted to meet up) and have some drinks with him and man does it make you grateful to be in NYC. The cliquishness was bizarre in the area, girls heading out with a mixed crew of bro-type of dudes, usually decked out in Yankees gear. Did try a couple approaches but the vibe was very closed off, everyone in their tight little social circles. It is insane to notice the difference between NYC and Jersey in general despite the two being a train-ride away, definitely not visiting again if game is concerned. If I had to describe the vibe, it is either college kids or kids fresh out of college staying tight with their college cliques.

Do not bother with Hoboken or New Jersey in general when it comes to game.

Decided to head to NYC afterwards, actually checked out some places in the LES. It was like a breath of fresh air in the city, girls had more of an open body language and everyone was open to chatting up strangers. Waited in line with my friend at a couple places and some cool people chatted us up, one told me a few more spots in the city I needed to check out. Chatted up a group, two cool guys and four girls with them, one guy was French and the other was Danish.

We had like an hour long conversation and clicked well, one of the girls was really into me and I asked them about the Meatpacking, they told me they were heading to a club called Le Bain. Decided to head with them to Le Bain, my friend tells them he never gets in but the French guy say not to worry. We get there and as we are walking towards the line, bouncer is already telling people invite only.

I was feeling a bit deflated at first seeing that happen and told the French guy about it, he told me not to worry. We are in line, about 8 of us in a group now, and I see three hot girls in front of us (two dark haired and one blonde). Open the token blonde (like platinum blonde almost) asking her where she is from, she says Russia, and then we chat for a bit. I propose to her and her two friends, after telling them the big group I am with, that we tell the bouncer we are all a big group so he lets us in without any worry. The blonde smiles and tells the bouncer we are a big group, bouncer smiles and lets us in.

Get inside and there is a long fucking wait in line, a couple of sleazy Italians try to approach some of the girls we are with but the guys I was with barely paid attention and the girls were clearly not feeling. Russian girl gives a repulsive look and mutters under her breath "Italians", I laugh a bit, and she tells me about how they have a reputation of being sleazy sex tourists in Russia and she auto-rejects them. Great way to learn about another culture. At this point I have had a few drinks in me already.

We finally get up and the vibe is more of an 80s nightclub vibe with weird music playing but the views are off the map. They open the rooftop and it is crawling with hot girls, ratio must have been like 3 girls to 1 guy. We kind of lose the group but I have the Russian blonde with me, we make out and I number close because an hour later her friends come to get her, I was not letting her go so easily but she told me where she lives at and we will meet the following week after I push for sex that same night. Grab her and make out in front of her friends, one who grabs her hand and tries to lead her away, and the blonde goes away waving with her friend grabbing her.

Opportunity was everywhere though, lots of girls accidentally bumping into me. Stand around in the rooftop to see the view but then catch a couple eyes looking at me, both Arab looking girls, one of them looks at me to smile and waves. I wave back and laugh, she laughs with her friend, strangest WTF moment. We chat a bit, they are both from Sweden, and I am mostly apathetic about it all. The Russian girl thing not working out kinda burned me but I chat with them, don't number closer or anything, and kind of leave the conversation.

Walk around to run into the French guy who is drunk and asking me how much I love it, say I love it, and then he shouts love it, and I shout louder, and then some random girl comes in to shout love it. Shit was hilarious lol. Ask how often him and his crew go out, tells me every other week usually, so I ask for his number and tell him we should hang out more. Tells me it is going to get more fun as summer rolls around and he knows of a few good parties, tells me how fun the city is, and then his crew come around.

Hope this leads to something and me meeting cool people.

Kind of blacked out a bit after that, friend who is more sober helps carry me out as it is closer to 4 AM when the place usually closes. Get home and lose all of Saturday being hungover but so worth it. I love this city.

I'll point out one thing about groups that is important to keep in mind. You seem be noticing this already. In many big cities, particularly in NYC, most groups aren't actually close friends who have known each other for many years and are much easier to penetrate than those in small towns.

Among American girls, these groups are usually coworkers, roommates, or mixed groups from college who were never necessarily close. Even with a college group, its usually a girl with one close friend and the rest are just acquaintances. Chicks can't even ponder the idea of going out alone, so they'll go out with whoever they can. Basically, they are groups by necessity rather than by choice. Foreign girls are even easier since many of them are alone in the city and make friends/go out with other foreigners.

There are dozens of times when I've approached a girl in a group and she was more than willing to separate from her friends within a minute, even if I didn't end up closing. When I'd ask her later, she'd say "oh, we're just coworkers" or "I just went out with one girl and then she bumped into her friends, I don't know them and they're kinda weird", etc etc.

Not all groups are made the same. You'll never find out if you don't make a move.

Life is really taking off here in NYC for me, got a decent social momentum going, it has just brought me back into life for good. I have to say if it has not been said already, this city is game haven for men, already gotten laid 4 different times since I last posted here and 3 of the girls were foreign.

Wanted to ask you guys for advice though on the social crowds in NYC, any idea on what places are best to go to if you want to avoid the New Jersey crowd?

I hate to generalize but man, the stereotypes are true, there is a reason a lot of people hate on Jersey. The women from three are probably some of the worst in the entire country. I feel like they almost overcompensate for their lack of status in the city by being extra bitchy, icy, and tight-knit with their social circle they came out with. As Whiteknightrises mentioned, tons of issues for gaming girls from there.

So far, the only place I have been able to consistently avoid running into too many of the Jersey girl types has been Le Bain which is tough to get into most of the times. Decided to explore a few nightclubs near Brass Monkey though and it was pretty much Jersey girls galore, I don't even think some of these girls were 18!

Beer I'm glad to see your morale has improved since locating to what I consider the greatest city in the world. I don't spend nearly as much time there but you have only confirmed my limited day and nightlife trip feelings of refreshment looking at the available women there versus where most are from in the US.

I gotta ask though, did you grow up in Jersey or have some other beef with the state? You talk about the place a lot without directly posting about it. I have a Jersey datasheet I have linked in my signature for reference to why I bring that up.

I've spent a lot of time in Jersey and visited here enough times to say your sentiment on the girls are accurate. I'm not sure if you know all of why that is though.

The top Jersey girls usually move to NYC and Philly in their prime years. If you're lucky, maybe you'll keep them in Hoboken which is closer to NYC than most of normal Jersey. So there may be transplants you don't notice. The Jersey girls you refer to above are usually either college chicks or older ones too low value to start hustling with the global women. The bitchiness comes from high density population, very intense nationalities living here, plus a level of insecurity with losing the best people to the big cities.

Jersey is like small country towns giving their best girls to the capital cities. It's much more ideal for the couples that want to settle down and raise kids in a bigger space than a closet. Hell for single guys like most of us. I think the state drives the guys on here from there insane personally, I'll include myself in that it gets to you. It can almost make guys be willing to do monk mode.

With all that said, some people stick around for a little longer due to family connections and to build a savings. I have to ask, being in NYC now, has it been financially tough to live there? Have you had to downgrade other parts of your life at all for the city perks? The social perks seem to speak for itself.

First I'll answer your questions about NYC, it takes sacrifice to live in this city. I pay a little over 1.5k in rent for a nice place but I live with roommates who are never here because they work as consultants, so in many ways, I live by myself. In many ways I lucked out, it was about timing, the place I live in just recently got built as one of the high rise and is close to a good location. I got in right when they had opened through an old friend who knew some folks and the roommates needed someone to replace a guy who got hitched and moved out west.

Only downside is that the bedroom is small, even though it is newly built with a nice view, it is small. There is still a silver lining to this, I have taken girls home in recent weeks and sex in a small bedroom is fucking legit. Girls have fallen in love with the place and wanted to be repeat customers, I have had to turn them down and I can because it's NYC, opportunity is abundant here.

I would not trade it for the world. Sure, I can probably live lavishly in NJ or Long Island or something but in the end, you are paying for the culture, the nightlife, the experience, and a lifestyle you cannot get elsewhere.

As for my beef with New Jersey and its women as well as its people in general.

Quite frankly, I am not a big fan of women from New Jersey, Long Island, and areas of the city outside of Manhattan and the major boroughs for a few reasons.

1. Cliquish like high school and college girls, making them almost impossible to game since they head out with their crew of guys they are already banging anyways. Kind of throws off the open minded cool vibe of bars where you go to meet people, these people should just stay in Jersey and their old towns, stick to Hoboken and not take up space in Manhattan bars.

2. Going off of number 1, they seem to infest certain parts of the city which get a reputation for having a lot of the "Bridge and Tunnel" crowd. I am coming to NYC to game cool women and meet cool people, not have to deal with the cliquey douchey atmosphere one would expect to encounter in a college town.

3. They take away from the cultured, open minded, fun, and cool aspect of Manhattan which is brought about by its international crowd and crowd of young Americans moving here from all across the country. Instead, that all turns into cliquish tribal east coast crap.

All it took was for me to spend time in Hoboken to know I am not touching that state. I could go more into detail regarding race and ethnicity as well but I'll keep that out of this thread.

I lived right by Union Square back in the day, great pad with 4 other guys (yes, 5 of us squished into 1 tiny space!).

My room was windowless and so tiny that I had to stack my bed above my table kinda like this but it was far and away my favorite time in my life. Never had a girl turn me down just because of the room size and setup either!

You're making me miss the city all over again. You can travel all over the world, as I have, and still never find anything quite like it. No matter how much cities like LA, Chicago, or SF grow, they can never become another NYC.

I rather not talk about what I do for work on here, if you really do want to know that bad, PM me.

While NYC is one of a kind city, I feel like Chicago has its moments and can be just as great with its culture. What puts NYC on a completely different level is the fact that so much is okay here and the ratios are top tier compared to any other city out there. I had to travel to San Francisco a bit in 2018 and it was depressing beyond all shadow of a doubt, hardly any hot girls for miles and the ones that were there you had to be in an exclusive social circle to get.

You have to have left NYC, seen how bad it is in the rest of the country where people marry by the age of 25, and then realized how SOL guys that want to play the field are. With all of its downsides (the garbage smells throughout the street, expensive rent, rude people, etc.), for the right kinds of people who are driven and have big goals, this city truly is one of a kind.

All of my nightgame "success" (as in dates later on) have come from gaming in Brooklyn. I've even found women more open to being approached in Brooklyn, and way more of those magical 2 woman sets.

3. Now everyone in these spots, thanks to social media, is taking pics of themselves and tagging the place. Everyone sees hot girls in pics at these places as well as some of the more high value groups there (Chads, hot girls, cool foreigners, hip internationals, etc.) and so the place gets traction, it becomes the "it" spot.

4. Now people from Jersey and some of the more narcissistic parts of the country (San Francisco for example as so many of them travel back and forth between east coast and west coast) start to infiltrate these spots, usually with their cliques because they want to show off how cool they are. The women in these cliques being narcissists who are status obsessed and not able to be gamed since they are there with their crew, trying to show off.

5. Thanks to number 4, now the spot becomes lame because no one wants to go to a bar or nightclub to game Jersey, Bridge Tunnel, and Bay Area narcissists. Plus even if they wanted to, they could not because of the cliquishness of these crowds along with a host of other issues. Club starts to charge cover more often as well.

6. Residents of the city, including the women, can kind of pick up on the fact that the place is starting to feel really cliquey instead of just a fun cool place to have a great time at. It gets a reputation of being "touristy" and so people start to flock to other places to escape the Jersey and status hungry tourist crowds, eventually starting step 1 all over again.

I just sometimes wonder why so many Jersey folks and people from the more narcissistic cliquey areas of America (aka the Bay Area) come to NYC so much. Like seriously, don't San Francisco and New Jersey have bars? Can't they just stay over there and stop ruining the vibe in NYC?

5. Thanks to number 4, now the spot becomes lame because no one wants to go to a bar or nightclub to game Jersey, Bridge Tunnel, and Bay Area narcissists. Plus even if they wanted to, they could not because of the cliquishness of these crowds along with a host of other issues. Club starts to charge cover more often as well.

6. Residents of the city, including the women, can kind of pick up on the fact that the place is starting to feel really cliquey instead of just a fun cool place to have a great time at. It gets a reputation of being "touristy" and so people start to flock to other places to escape the Jersey and status hungry tourist crowds, eventually starting step 1 all over again.

I just sometimes wonder why so many Jersey folks and people from the more narcissistic cliquey areas of America (aka the Bay Area) come to NYC so much. Like seriously, don't San Francisco and New Jersey have bars? Can't they just stay over there and stop ruining the vibe in NYC?

I get what you're saying a beer is enough, but don't worry about those cliques and other folks that you mention. It seems as if you've been having plenty of success since returning to NYC. And yeah, it would be nice to notch one of those suburbanite girls from outside the city, but there's no need to pedestalize them when you're already reaping the benefits of being around other (and probably more interesting) women.

NYC is only two hours away from my current city (Philadelphia), but the cities' two scenes couldn't be any more different. My dating and SNL options are more limited because of the insular social dynamics and much smaller volume of women to meet and approach outside of a night game context. There are some people who ask me what I miss about NYC, and I always tell them "the people". The mix of people and social dynamic that exists in NYC just does not exist anywhere else in the US. Right now, I'm stacking up and enjoying a better quality of life than I would get in NYC at my financial standing, but if I had the money for a spot in a good location of NYC, I'd be back in the city in a heartbeat.

ahaha, funny. Those Jersey/LI cliques in NYC are the equivalent of the "Persian bros" in LA, who are infamous for ruining what started out as great, almost special, places.

They travel in packs, rolling up to the spots in luxury cars that most likely Baba paid for, wearing cheap cologne and readjusting their Balenciaga hats every few minutes to make sure everybody can see the name. The hot girls eventually stop coming because these guys think running "good game" consists of hitting on anything that moves by bragging about their rich Saudi friends.

You can even make out a bit of the formula behind the process: (1) the cool kids start something unique, which (2) initially attracts those within overlapping circles that share a similar "culture" with the founders, but which then (3) becomes a victim of its own success and begins attracting the wrong crowd (who don't care about whatever it was that made it special in the first place).

At that point, the founders would (and should) either sell the venture or step back from it in a big way, taking their crew with them.

While I wouldn't put it in the same words as Clint ^^ above, I'd agree that it's best you just ignore them and live your own best life. Isn't it punishment enough that they live where they do and come from the cultures they do lol
