I have found some, but honestly the percentage of the loyal type girls is pretty low in these countries, but it does exist. A big part is to look at their parents, did their parents stay together all their life? where did you meet them? If it's tinder (the sex app) probably not going to to be the best girls? Nightlife? Maybe you can find a decent girl who was dragged out by her big group of friends. Daygame? That's wher eyou can find the girls who had conservative upbringings and would never dream of cheating.

I have found a few from DR and Colombia in this category, but there are other countries where you can find a much higher percentage of this type of girl.

RE: Dominican Republic
I think expansion labours on the second line are to begin soon, but I think they’re expanding into more distant areas of Greater Santo Domingo. They probably won’t expand into Piantini, leaving Churchill and Lincoln Avenues to their current predicament; indeed, in my brief time in the city, I noticed that, save for the Metro’s first line, most road decongestion initiatives ― the viaducts and tunnels ― are in east-west direction or vice versa, which leaves those two avenues, along with Núñez de Cáceres, in a bit of a pickle. In fact, the city’s rail system appears to have been designed to avoid Piantini and most of Naco, but it is still, as you say, immensely helpful to students.

Well, the network hasn’t even been running for a decade, and the signs of decay and mismanagement ― damaged lifts and escalators, flaking paint, rusting surfaces ― are pretty evident; but that shouldn’t really bother anyone because neither Chambers Street nor the Gare du Nord are known for their cleanliness, and people get used to it. That’s why I spoke of the system’s state as ‘nothing unusual’, preferring instead to emphasise its inability to cover Acrópolis and Blue Mall.

I obviously do not live in the city, and I suppose my sole experience was unlucky. Being a bit of a railway enthusiast, I was curious to see it, but I was not impressed. I will defer to you, since you are the one living in the Dominican Republic; I was just a clueless, faultfinding tourist passing by on his way to a beachside tourist trap a few hours to the east.

My list of Spanish-language resources and a thread full of them.
PM me with any Spanish questions; I will try to help you!

For the top one percent, or the top few percent, local guys have a huge advantage over foreign guys, for a number of reasons. Depending on a number of factors, there are foreign guys who can get the girls at the top, but those guys are also the top percentage of foreigners.

Yea i hear ya. I would never try to turn someone i pickup at a nightclub into a LTR even though it's been tempting a few times. Daygame is where it's at but with these i generally find them on a dating site before arriving (Not Tinder) but yea i see what you mean. What countries would you suggest btw? Cheers

@20Nation well stated. @benji, you are going to have your work cut out in the DR but it doesn't mean it is impossible. The chulo way of things is too engrained/accepted into the culture that there is nothing wrong with her and her local boyfriend playing along with the game that she is yours in return for material or other long term benefits (immigration). DR folks can be very patient and can wait for years to get what they want. If they don't have a chulo (family included), many will have a local dude lurking in the background. Your best bets are to move up the social/economic ladder and leverage social game including from those you meet online but whom you know are not worth keeping to meet new ones till you find one worth keeping. Immerse yourself in the culture, practice the alpha elements of machismo (not violence), blend in if you can within reason and be prepared to spend enough time in-country. If it is long distance with travel back and forth before you figure her out, you may never get to see or catch the red flags. The younger they are, the less corrupted they are likely to be in ways of the game, at 16 she probably knew more about game than you did at 20, some were in the game since 14. That's what makes it a tough but not impossible place to find a legit LTR type.

RE: Dominican Republic
Perfect summary of the culture. The difference between mexico and d.r. is that mexicanas respect their parents over you, they dont give a shit about you or any other guy. Your just a trophy piece to her. Mexicanas are so dumb the would spit in your face even if you had a million dollars if they dont think their parents would approve of you. Makes for a safe marriage if her parents respect you, but mexicanas will never respect you, even if you are a mexican. I know because I have been around enough of them and see what they do when they think that their husband has fallen from grace. No loyalty. Dominicanas are about the same except for the chulo effect and that they will steal your money, but they dont respect you either. Just like mexicanas(and women in general), if your not around or they think they can get away with some shit, they will do whatever comes to mind, including cheating, stealing, etc. from you. A chulo is somebody that takes their money and promotes them to do things for the money. It could be some shithead that robs people all day, or her brothel working sister, or her scheming lazy disrepectful father, or her ex-prostitute mother, or her ruthless grandmother. Thats why you can get shook in the d.r. even if you have money(a must), and she is a "marriage" worthy girl, she is not taking orders from you about ANYTHING, but rest assured that she is taking orders from someone else on important issues. Even if you were a druglord she wouldnt follow your instructions. So you just cant trust them or intrust them with any tasks. But they put out 109% of the time, so go for it. No other women even come close. But you bet not ever run out of that money. You dont have to spend it on them but you better have it and let them know you have it. Thats the only way the marriage could end, because the sex never stops. I have 30+ aged women come ask me out all the time. With all that said I recommend mexico, costa rica, and argentina to everyone hahaha.

I was in D.R a couple of weeks back for 11 days. Where will you be staying on the island?

Its still paradise for me. Spent time in Sosua.

Serious contemplating renting a long term apartment in Puerto Plata area. Cheap cost of living, and huge access to 7s,8s and 9s are what appeals to me.

6 months there, 6 months UK would work for me.

Do you get the girls from Santiago then or where do you find them? Puerto Plata looks small.

I'll be staying near Sosua, a place called Gaspar, where I have some family business to take care off. But other then that, I'll have time to check most of the North Coast and especially Santiago as I'm not the type to stay on the beach for weeks. I'll arrive at Punta Cana and I'll spend some time in Santo Domingo as well. Hope to really see the highlights of the island to be honest.

Sosua, where I spent most of my time in DR had decent internet connections.
I had a fixed cable internet connection from Delancer (cable company) at the airbnb I stayed.

They only offer up to 10 Mbps, which is what I had. It was approximately $85 USD for a month (cable + internet). There was no significant outage to speak of. Just a single incident, where it went out for about 3 hours.

Other than that, it was much faster and stable than I anticipated.

I don't recall seeing old vinyl records but I wasn't looking. There's definitely out of the way market type places/stalls. I'd imagine they're out there somewhere , mostly in the hands of seniors.

If you have the money, put a wanted ad on craigslist or Listin Diario , etc.

Internet is decent and electricity reliable in tourist areas and central cities. The other areas get downgraded and suffer blackouts far more.

DR is violent. Like, you probably won't get attacked, but don't be stupid. I've heard too many stories. And check out the website Dominican watchdog.

When I first came to the forum DR was one of the top places. I haven't been so I can't comment but I assume not too much has changed just the regular way hype ebbs and flows.

Though if your looking for nice beaches and big bootied Latinas, I struggle to see where else you would go aside from Brazil.

A British man has become an unlikely star in the Dominican Republic after being rejected by his Internet girlfriend for being 'too poor.'

Mum-of-four, Wilfa Soto Peguero, claimed that she agreed to get to know Glyn Thomas Bailey in person after they had been speaking online and he offered to help raise her children.

However, when she went to collect him from the airport, she claims that he had no return ticket and no money.

RE: Dominican Republic
I just read an article about the DR and I read this excerpt about gringo pricing. For obvious reasons, if you wish to make a purchase in the DR it is best to make any inquiries through a trusted local professional. The article is a PDF, so I cannot post a web link.

Quote:Santo Domingo also offers one of the biggest Spanish-colonial zones in all the Americas. The government has been improving the infrastructure in this area, which has become a central tourism zone for both land based travelers and cruise-goers. I’ve noticed more restaurants, museums, boutique hotels, and shops catering to tourists in this area each time I’ve returned in the last few years.

While much of the Spanish-colonial has been renovated already, you can still find buildings available for fixing up. You have to be careful when shopping in this zone to make sure you’re paying a fair price. The historic properties for sale are controlled by one or two real estate agencies that price them on request, depending on who’s inquiring. Make inquiries through a local contact if possible.

One property I looked at a few months ago was listed on an agency website for US$1.2 million. No way this building was worth that price, but I was interested in the property so I asked my attorney to see what she could do.

My attorney was able to make contact with the owner of the building, who said he’s asking US$250,000. My attorney thought the building could be bought for US$200,000.

Bumping this thread.

I'm thinking of going to DR in July, so now im pipelining hard.

I made an account on Domincancupid.com and getting lots of responses.

Question is for those who have used this site, how do you weed out hookers? Some of these women are fine as hell sending me messages which are too good to be true. Is this how it is on these sites?

Anyway, will be in Santo Domingo and Santiago in July.

RE: Dominican Republic
I would recommend Santo Domingo, if you aren't sure. It's like asking: College town or New York City? Santo Domingo is much bigger and you can find anything you would find in Santiago: large college campuses, bigger malls, better nightlife, etc.

Having said that, Santiago is ok if you prefer smaller city and your game is good. I just found it way easier to approach a lot more girls in a wider variety of scenarios in Santo Domingo. There's almost no limit to the places you can daygame in SD, whereas Santiago you might quickly become "that guy" who hits on every chick.

Having said that, the average girl in Santiago is lighter skinned and more attractive. But there are still millions of attractive girls in SD, just statistically speaking Santiago has hotter girls ON AVERAGE. Just like a college town ON AVERAGE will have hotter women than a big city. A big city will have older women that will change the average, plus SD has a lot of Haitian looking women (if you're into that darker skin color then SD is for you)

There's probably 100,000 women in Santiago I would find attractive and 50,000 I wouldn't.
There's probably 1,000,000 women in SD I would find attractive and 1,000,000 I wouldn't.
