Hi guys,

I'm a newbie completely to this whole Game thing, but very interested to discuss and learn more with you.

I'm a 20 something (21) guy form the UK, been told by many that i am very attractive but i just do not have much success at all. From a brief read, i think i might be a beta; but i don't know what this (or other terms) exactly mean.

I'd appreciate some starting out tips and resources to get me going. I will pick up the 3 links mentioned in the Newbie sticky thread.

Just to add to my above post. (Don't hate on me i'm very new and you might not like my mindset, i appreciate that).

I don't approach girls, not because i'm nervous as such, but because i think they would approach me if they liked me enough. I need that reassurance there. Also, i'm a funny guy, but i think that i think too much when in the moment, and i lose my personality to a certain extent; i look at the girl and try to be who i think she would want me to be.

Don't want to be abrupt, but if i could summarise my issues in a reply post to you, i could sleep with all the women in the world.

I'm looking at building up my Game in the long term. I want to look at the whole thing correctly from the beginning and take it form there, doing it correctly and just becoming natural with it.

Read bang and other such guides read roosh, roissy and other blogs of the manosphere. make sure you understand what its all about. practice while you do so. write down goals and analyze your approaches

And Roosh, don't take what I said in the OP the wrong way, I'm here to learn how to start approaching and getting into the rhythm of it.

Go out today and approach ten women, do not go home until you have.
It does not matter what you say or how much you kook it.It will get easier but you have to start.
We all know the first one's are tough but you must push on.
Pretty sure noone here will give you any respect or advice if you do not even start approaching.

You are not nervous. In fact you are lazy as hell. And this is why you will never have a girl in your arms. Even girls have to prepare themselves to men doing their manicure, hair, nice clothes and perfume. Saying polite things.
Keep doing your great job. you will go far.

Nope, you're wrong. If a girl likes you, she'll be too nervous to approach.

Exactly. Especially here in university most of the girls I approach were probably those sheltered girls in highschool. They have as much skill with this stuff as you do. Most girls I've run into are worse at flirting than most guys. Its kind of sad actually. I had a girl who didn't understand what a guy asking her for drinks at his place past 10pm meant.

Lead the conversation, believe you are skilled with the attraction arts and show them you are, they'll open up soon enough.

Ya, solid eye contact is a girls way of approaching. If she is looking at you, go talk to her.

Waiting for a girl to approach you sounds like an excuse.

Great responses, thanks. I definitely need to work on a few things such as making good conversation, I always end up coming across as a bit of a proper straight up guy. What about coming across as a bit cheeky/fun, I always seem to give the impression that I'm the nice harmless guy, both with and without girls in the equation!
