I will be posting a list of ways to insulate each and every member of this forum, from the carnage and greed ,created/allowed by a system of government.If I have to go thru it country by country, that I will do. I couldn't give a flying flamingo if someone agrees /disagrees. As long as you can check it out for yourself, and verify that it is legal, then we are on the same team. Everything else, is hot air, and useless bantering that a bitch would be responsive to.

Alright, I'm currently dealing with a debt collector. He said I owe him 16k when the original was 12k. This debt is the remaining balance from my university tuition (not covered by loans). I'm gonna try and settle for 2k. If I understand correctly, lawsuits rarely happen and just to wait it out until the price goes down (assuming they don't accept 2k). Then, I'll contact them towards the end of the month to negotiate. If they accept, get it in writing and ask them to take it off my credit report.

Can I pay it off with a credit card without them getting the info to take more funds out?

Any other advice or tips?
