I believe this is an effect of mainly growing up dating women that haven't been the type of manipulative bitches that makes a man jaded. So congratulations on your (so far) positive experiences.

It is also a product of old-school upbringing that women can't enjoy sex just for the hell of it, for some it's parental anxiety others just don't have the self-esteem to think that they are good lovers. No matter the cause this is something that goes away with age and experience, believe me. I've been in the exact same position you are in 15 years ago. It makes me mad thinking about all the muff I missed out on because I wanted to "do the right thing" and be a good guy. Well guess what happened when I started caring...

I don't think it comes from an idea about women not enjoying sex. The guilt comes from actual experiences where the girl gets unhinged, e.g. pleading, attempts to commit suicide.

I'm not young. I'm 30 years old. In the past I'd ditch girls, ignore emails, calls, etc. Now it just seems like too much trouble for a lay.

I had a girl tell me she'd kill herself if I broke it off with her. I told her that slitting her wrists was too messy and she should consider ODing.

She's fine. Happily married now (though I'm not sure I can say the same for him).

Well, it's really a result of not thinking. When you pump and dump a girl, you pump and dump her for a reason, and the reason is that's the value she has in your life. It would be a disservice to her, if you let her have the illusion that she was more valuable to you than what she actually was, and it would prevent her from ever finding a guy who she would be more valuable to.

This is just another way of pedestalising women. You think they're fragile creatures who will not be able to handle you ditching them. They'll get over it.

I went through this stage too. I passed on pussy from girls I didn't have much interest in, because I didn't want to deal with potential drama afterwards. I regret it. If women feel they are independent and equals, they have to live with the decision to fuck a man without expectations.
