My old man just sold his 04 V a while back. Think he got 24k for it but it only had 20k miles on it with Corsa exhaust. Thing was a beast.

STS-V's are badass but not under $20k unless they have a fuckton of miles.

Piss on it. Get a DTS and fly under the radar.

I don't know if any of you guys have had this feeling but right now I HAVE to build something from body shell up. I'm not sure what yet. I'm not going to take apart a newer car of course. I've been on ebay and craigslist about 5 hours a day looking for something to fuck with...

Hard to believe it, but its just too difficult to own a powerful car, let alone a hyper supercar, the roads are in bad condition, clogged with traffic, and policed to the limit, they have killed the fun factor.

Even the most hardcore *sports* car will fail on the track after a decent caning

So where to from here? just keep buying these sporstcars drive around in 1st gear doing coffee shop stops, and/or make them garage-queens and just look at them and dream...,

Since you can't really let cars rip on the major roads, after getting a fun car with 300hp and a convertible top, I'd get a general aviation plane vs a super car. You can get general aviation aircraft on fire sale prices because it's an overall shitty economy compared to 2007. You can get good planes for around $70k

I'm all about excess and Escalade's are often considered the posterboy for excess consumption.

Euros just don't get it. Between high fuel prices and narrow roads vehicles this size, and bigger like the Kodiak pickup, just don't compute for them.

America is the land of wide open spaces and big roads. They work here.

Parallel parking is a bitch though...

edit-That EXT needs some different wheels. The standard 18's just don't cut it on a rig that size. Same reason I got 20's.
