Not a massive fan of American cars, preferring the styling of the European offerings.

Having said that, this little honey stole my heart recently. I'd make an exception for her. If I may call 'it' a 'her'. Ahem.

In the Blue.

That is some special wheels. Hats off to the chaps over the waters.

Wrong hand drive unfortunately. Oh well. Would have had to save up a bit anyway.

I don't subscribe to all that 'penis compensation' psycho babble. A car is a car, get over it!

But, having said that, if any car screams 'This is not a car, it is my cock!', louder than this, I have yet to see it. Loud and proud. A masterpiece. The European houses are doing the same old (and it is a very good same old), but a few more designs like this...

I like it very much and would take it over any Lambo or Ferrari if you offered me one today. Top Gear!

Then again, the Ham Shanks have really outdone themselves with this:

Poncey Ferrari or effeminate Lamborghini, don't make me laugh. They are cars for footballer's wives to go shopping in to make their friends jealous.

As for penis substitution, who needs a cock when you have a car like this?

I might be in the minority, but I love station wagons/saloon cars that are fast and can fly 'under the radar' especially in the Untied States.

Why Wagons?

They don't draw much attention. I'd venture to guess that the majority of wagon owners in the United States at least are moms who spend 99% of their time driving between starbucks and soccer practice. As a result, I find you don't draw as much attention from police as you might in a coupe or a sedan. As someone who frequently rips around at multiples of the legal limit, this is a plus. I've driven past cops at twice the legal limit in mom cars and gotten away with it and been pulled over in coupes going at the speed of the traffic.

They're also hugely practical for hauling people and stuff around, which is half the reason why you need a car rather than a motorbike anyways right? If you're just moving yourself, buy a bike. It's cheaper, more fun, and girls love them.

In the U.S., you essentially have 2 options:

1. Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

[Image: 2011-cadillac-cts-v-sport-wagon-minneapo...ngeles.jpg]

Basically, its a Cadillac so it can almost be written off at first as your grandfather's car. Under the hood, you've got a 6.2L LSA engine, which is exactly the same as what you get in a Camaro ZL1, and is similar to the engine in the last Corvette ZR1. Pumps out huge power and torque, and does sweet burnouts as seen above. Also, you can get it in a stick which is absolutely phenomenal.

2. Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Wagon

[Image: 2014-mercedes-benz-e63-amg-s-model-4mati...ers-02.jpg]

The Merc is the more mature choice, costs a little more coin, and looks a little more subdued than the Caddy. Unfortunatley (or fortunately, if you need 4wd) the new ones are not rear wheel drive anymore, but rather 4WD. No smokey burnouts or giant drifts I guess. Like the caddy, it's fast as fuck and doesn't draw much attention. Bigger than the caddy and can generally hold more stuff.

If you're in Europe, you also have the fast Audis (the RS4 Avant and RS6 Avant), as well as a C63 AMG wagon. Problem is, unless you live in Germany, there are so many speed cameras you'll be hard pressed to find a good stretch of motorway to really let them rip. I guess that's why they invented back roads.

Footballer's wives go for something low and loud and difficult to exit in a skirt? They shop in a car with almost zero luggage space?

Nah, WAGs go for something like this 95% of the time:

Fox is right, WAGs love large luxury trucks, not low-slung sports cars. The Range Rover, G-Wagen and Cayenne are their go-to vehicles.

Footballers love them too.

1980s Saabs and Range Rovers.

Built to last; can handle anything.

I don't care if it handles like a boat, just give me some straight lines.

I used to race in SCCA Solo events.

Most cars that I'm in to are based on performance only. And some are real sleepers.

Cheapest sleeper of the bunch. E36 BMW M3. By now they are getting pretty ratty but if you buy one from a BMW CCA member you will be able to find nicer examples. These cars handle like no other. Best year 1995 for the lighter weight. 1998 for the 3.2L S52 engine.

Most refined M3 that is still an M3 has to be the E46. Proper N/A I6 engine that requires real maintenance. Super high revving power plant, really wide tires fit, and a great chassis. They are heavier than earlier M3's but swapping seats, wheels exhaust and battery can shave at least 200lbs from the car. Avoid the SMG gearbox and opt for the proper manual trans.

My favorite ride right now. C6 ZO6. 345 rear tires. 500+ horsepower. Dry sump oiling system. 7k redline in a 7L engine. And the best Vette styling yet. 2007-2013 doesn't matter much.

A real car guys car that no one has heard of that is my ideal car. 88 South African BMW 320is. It was a hybrid between the normal E30 BMW 325is and the original iconic M3 with tons of unique parts. A very rare classic BMW.

A current show room car I would love to have is the Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition. A factory show room road race ready car with adjustable shocks, front splitter, undertray, race compound brake pads, and the list goes on.

Otherwise I'm really into the pro touring American classics that are popular right now. A 70 Camaro on 315/345 tires with a remote turbo charged LSX would be a sweet summer time ride.

never posted a pic before but attached the Camaro I used to run in SCCA events.

it's a suicide mission in terms of maintenance, but:
