What's the Krak in Krakow?
Hi everyone,

Going to Krakow in 3 days for a while. Was wondering, as Roosh is yet to visit there, if anyone else can give me the heads up on the BEST PLACES, must sees, hints and tips to get the MAX out of my stay.

Suggestions and Recommendations much appreciated.

Cheers

RE: What's the Krak in Krakow?
I'm going there on the 11th (their Independence Day) for about a week and have been hitting up a bunch of local girls on the couchsurfing site to meet up and show me the good, non-tourist party spots. One of them just sent me a bunch of good info, I'll paste the useful parts (grammatical errors are hers), and the hotlinks won't transfer to this page, but it should get you started...

"about places pub/clubs to visit
PIĘKNY PIES
piekny-pies.pl/ very close to the main market square
nice places to chill out
SPOKÓJ (bracka street), ŚWIĘTA KROWA (floriańska street),
pauza (floriańska street) and many places in Kazmierz (ebraic quartier)- such as ALCHEMIA (plac nowy), ESZE, ESZEWERIA (jakuba street) and many many more, Kazimierz is full of nice, different places if you're going to sit and chat..
ŁÓDŹ KALISKA (florianska street) lodzkaliska.pl/kaliska/htm/krakow.html
krakownightlife.com/-- and maybe here you'll find useful info!
WIELOPOLE STREET! legendary
boston club (if still exists.. than CARYCA, ŁUBU-DUBU AND KITSH)
to eat sth tipical polish, quite good and cheap (I don't know many places, usually I choose italian cuisineTongue):
STODOŁA (floriańka street)
stodola47.pl/index-3.html
POLAKOWSKI
polakowski.com.pl/ Wink (in center of krk 1st and 3rd Pl wszystkich świętych and miodowa)"

Hope it helps, if you're going to be there around the same time, pm me

Upgrayedd. Which he spells thusly, with two D's, as he says, "for a double dose of this pimping".

Thanks Roosh. Sorry mate, I realised after posting there were existing topics open - i should have searched first.

I saw your Twitter update... so Krakow is next on your hit list then? I'm surprised you didn't head straight there Roosh as it's meant to be the 'honey pot' location. Is that what put you off? The fact that it is a bit too popular, touristy, been done to death by travellers? Poznan sounds just right....

I'm interested to know why you're going there now...

RE: What's the Krak in Krakow?
Kafka,

Awesome mate, all helps - nice one on the old couch surfing. I did a similar thing on Facebook before i went to Copenhagen.

I'm there from Thursday mate. I have mixed feelings about this. A friend of mine who I met in Copenhagen who works there is ADAMANT this is one of the hottest spots in Europe to run game...saying it's EVERYTHING PRAGUE SHOULD BE, BUT ISN'T... but from what others have been saying about their shields... i'm not so sure. I'm hoping SOLID GAME and a bit of class (unlike my British fore-goers) will prevail. I pray it's not full of English Sausage on stag do s .............

Gonna be a very interesting trip. Originally i was going for TOTAL GAME and girls, but i've thrown in a trip to Auschwitz and a WISLA KRAKOW footi match... so this is gonna be one random trip with so many emotions floating around... hmmmmm.

RE: What's the Krak in Krakow?
I was there a week ago.

Its a really beautiful city. The most beautiful in Poland.

Dont have too much to add to the alredy existing info in the Krakow thread so check that out.

Would say that daygame is your best bet though.

Best daygame spot is the mall at the central train station (you can't miss it) and the area between the mall and the old town

Plenty of cuties to be found during the day and they seemed fairly open to being approached during the day if a little suprised. Polish guys don't do daygame.

You can daygame in market sq but I found the contstant hoardes of tour parties to get in the way.

No Polish guide is complete without a visit to Krakow. Plus I'm curious if it is hard to pull compared to Poznan/Wroclaw.

RE: What's the Krak in Krakow?
i love Krakow. here's why..

* go to where2b.org and sign up for a guestlist. free covers free drinks and random promos.

* facebook: find "Kakao Krakow" and LIKE their fanpage. they organize various events offer discounts and stuff. also you can read there how to get free kakao card that gives you free entry at specific events and discount drinks. also LIKE every club so they will send you promotions about the events. since i liked kakao krakow they invite me everyday for some event with discounts.

that two things make it soooo easy

* like for me i like clubs: Cien, Coco, Prozak, MInisterstwo, Shakers and Frantic (tight door dress code!). they're not so big though. not exactly the type where you can lost your friends inside. they are all quite close to each other though.

* when you notice that at about 2-4am people somehow disappeared it probably means that everybody is at Kitsch club. it's kind of weird place but crowded as fuck in the morning.

* as for Coco club.. check out their website (http://www.clubcoco.pl/) and sign up for coco's guestlist there. they also use some cool point system which allows you to exchange points for drinks.

* the cheapest hostel with BEST location is "good bye lenin - let's rock" (not the other "pub and garden" one). it's about 30-40PLN/night in dorm room (also in the summer time) it's placed 3-5 mins of walk to main square and hookups are negotiable Big Grin. if cash doesn't matter at all then check out Flamingo hostel - even closer to the nightlife.

* public transport.. go to http://www.jakdojade.pl. train/bus station is not that far away from the main square maybe 15-20 mins of walk.

* if you into major sightseeing then get yourself Krakow Tourist Card which allows to take free rides on municipal transport during the day and at night and to get free admission to 30 museums. two-day card costs 50 PLN. available at tourist information centres.

* A LOT of hipster glassess : ))) but when you are attracted to a chick wearing those then it means that she's really beautiful to pull it off. i met a few sooo hot hipster like chicks there.. well who knows maybe it's just my type of girl who is naturally beautiful with very little make up.

* when solo it's super easy to befriend people at the hostel and go out with them at night. after all we all want the same thing.. have fun in the night and pull some hotties.

* it's bigger chance to chat up someone on the street in english and just talk than to do it in polish. really. even at the parties half the time i used english only and it didn't matter cause FUN language is universal.

enjoy

I was in Krakow briefly in August and enjoyed myself. The girls aren't stunners but they're cute, very approachable and their English is quite good.
