There's a time for letting go and turning the other cheek. There's also a time for putting a person in their place.

If your brother's behavior is still a problem, do what you need to do to teach him things have changed. This is best done by short, targeted, personal, humiliating comebacks in public next time he starts shit.

You need to make him feel emotional pain every time he tries to put you down. Very soon, he will learn you are no longer an easy target.

My advice is to confront him with a mind of understanding. Be a man. Were you wrong in some parts?

If that doesn't go well, you don't need to interact with him again unless you choose to.

Oh and be less defensive about people calling out Judaism. The correct response to that is: yeah I know and it shames me.

That shit from the past still bothers you because in your mind every time something bad happens or life doesnt go your way you internally curse your brother for treating you like shit and turning you into his bitch.

Stop doing that.

Try to do things that make you not hate yourself if that makes any sense.

Its up to you to decide if you are to blame for being treated like that while growing up but it doesnt have to be that way anymore.
