My assessment of the race right now:

Buttpeg has been foisted upon us for some reason, but I find Beto to be preferable because he actually seems to stand for things. Buttpeg so far has been intensely nebulous and waffling much like obama was in 08. Something tells me the people behind the man (pun intended) told him he should do this.

Biden despite being "creepy" in female parlance for liking to sniff hair isn't going anywhere. Unless a fake accuser comes out with a rape accusation. At the point where Trump is the reference point for all things moral in our country, won't Biden have the high ground because he likes immigrants. In a more serious vein, Biden may give Trump a good run for the money because a cause could be made that the Trump admin is full of oligarchs. Keeping in mind Biden wasn't born rich, and does have some appeal to middle/working class people.

Bernie is not designated to win the primary contest because he is an old white guy despite the fact that he is Jewish. rather, his ideas have already been co-opted by more centrist democratic candidates to neutralize his threat which was real last election.

The strategy at this point has to be keep like Yang and Bernie and maybe even Tulsi from making too big a splash. Thus it has to be continued calls for more gibbs, and an almost incessant focus with intersectional identity politics. Foreign policy, wars, and the future of the economy/ wealth stratification will not be discussed. My guess is the eventual debates will have a circuslike atmosphere because of the large field of dems. competing for attention. Then someone nebulous like Pete gets the nod because the bases are all fragmented, or Uncle Joe swoops in and restores us to the Obama status quo.

Another thing that I noticed was that Andrew is just peacocking naturally as he is the only Asian candidate to run for president. People are going to look him up once he start debating on the national TV.

Meanwhile he's getting one or two mainstream articles and interviews per day, while polling at 3 - 5% nationally and in various states like Texas and Iowa. Not a lot, but definite progress from just a couple months ago. Let's see if the momentum continues.

To some degree it's possible that him coming up from behind while the other candidates are slitting each others throats will work well for him.

Since all of the deep-state approved candidates have gone with the option of memory-holing him they can't attack him.

Although obviously the shine wore off after each administration, each president for the last 20 or so years has been noticeably different from the previous. I like that Andrew has embraced his nerdiness, if he tried to be anything else it'd be unauthentic and would stick out immediately. For better or worse, I don't know if he can do anything else any other way, so he might as well embrace the nerdy CEO role 100%

It takes courage and commitment to dedicate to concrete policies, especially this early in the game, and Yang doesn't get nearly enough credit for having the testicular fortitude to put himself on the line and commit.

His marketing strategy is pretty on point tbh. Look at YouTube.
I cannot think of any other presidential candidate who did so many interviews in such a short period of time.

No other candidate is doing that right now.
I just hope he get more cover time on TV, but it's not as nearly as important as in the past, not many people watch TV except the older generations, which isn't really Andrew's core demographic target, so it doesn't THAT much imo.

I really want this guy to win so bad. I am thinking about buying one of his shirts or hats.

Okay. I figured out how Yang can hit the nitro button and blast into the prime time.

Get some ageing starlet of yesteryear. She still has to be passably hot and in Yang's age range.

Get her to make a #metoo claim against Yang but do it in a way that paints Yang as a savage, unquenchable sexual tyrannosaurus that left her wrecked and broken. Meanwhile Yang will respond by saying that he and the starlet had "a thing" a while ago but parted amicably.
