But sperging aside, so your plan is to move out to the countryside and grow turnips by hand, and then if the robots from terminator show up, you'll go out in a blaze of gunfire?
Is this something you're doing right now? Or actively making plans to do?
Well, AAAACKSHUALLY, the struggle of the Last Samurai is best understood as an attempt by the moneyed class to turn war into a commodity. The samurai, like western knights, lived by very strict ethical and practical codes. They were rulers yes, but at least in principle, had a great many restrictions placed on them, by themselves, as to live virtuously despite great power.
This is in stark contrast to the elites of the capitalist society who have no personal ethos except to accumulate.

RE: The Andrew Yang thread
Finished watching his speech in LA and interview with Joe Rogan.
His ideas are refreshing and he actually understands the future of technology.
Technology is moving faster than regulation and the older generations can't keep up. Just watch CEO of Google or Mark Zuckerberg being interviewed by the congress, they don't have much idea. Even Warren Buffett doesn't really understand the internet, which was the reason he avoids tech stocks.
I think Andrew Yang is also more red pilled than other candidates as he brings up topics such as girls being depressed because of phone and social media. He also brings up how GDP doesn't count the mothers' effort at home. He wants woman to be more feminine without sounding like a sexist.
It doesn't label him as a misogynist because he just brings up the facts. He also packages his words strategically and he politically correct which is smart imo.
Such a wild card, glad someone like him is running for president at least.

RE: The Andrew Yang thread
Just finished another interview of Andrew Yang and Ben Shapiro. I didn't really want to watch this one as it kept on popping up on my YouTube recommendations, but I finally caved in.
In the video, Ben mentions that Andrew Yang is like a neo-altright or libertarian. Now that was a pretty interesting point and I do agree that he is a disguised red pilled guy wearing the mask of Democrat.
Not the worst interview, but there is this video of Ben Shapiro trash talking behind Andrew's back.
https://youtu.be/87oB7XBmmoE
This really disappointed in me how Ben Shapiro would act like that behind the scene when he seemed to go with the flow for the interview.
Ben Shapiro came off like as a special snowflake complaining like a little modern feminist girl. I mean be transparent and honest if you disagree, don't talk behind peoples back and be passive-aggressive. That's some pussy shit imo.
He also jumps into conclusion a lot. Most of his assumptions can be debunked with some research in Andrew Yang's website. Shapiro's ideologies are solidified as it seems like he already decided not to change his mind. Ben Shapiro is similar to Steven Crowder.
Don't get me wrong. I think its overall good that we have some people like Steven Crowder and Ben Shapiro kill snowflakes and put the facts out there to kill modern feminism, but sometimes the way they act really turn me off.

Yeah, this is bad faith action by Shapiro. I've watched 3 minutes of the above video with him and Rubin, and a lot of the UBI criticisms Ben brought up either aren't legit or were debunked by Andrew in their conversation.
For example, Ben said "Some people are saying UBI will solve the opioid crisis" Yang, and no other major advocator of UBI as far as I know, has said anything like that. Where the fuck did he get that from?
Ben also said, "UBI advocates think the check will allow people to do art or whatever. But we have people on Disability and they don't do art or volunteer more" But during their discussion, Andrew specifically addressed that by reminding Ben Disability recipients and others have negative incentives to do activities because if they're deemed healthy they may lose their benefits. Yang's proposed UBI doesn't have those strings attached, so its possible to get UBI and work/volunteer/get a side hustle unlike SSI/Disability/food stamps/welfare.
Also, Ben often says, "I'm not a fan" in lieu of actual evidence and numbers; meanwhile no mention of how much UBI would help so many Americans.
BTW, Dave Rubin is talking shit about a guy he's trying to have on in a few weeks.

Sanders the geriatric millionaire socialist is going to bring heat to Biden? I'll believe it when I see it but Biden has been tested on the stage, ol' Sanders hasn't.
Biden is being pushed by the swamp, Sanders is just a ploy and Yank is already being sidelined which is why I say he isn't bought - yet.
I think dismissing Sanders is a major mistake.
He was the clear 2nd choice for DEMS in 2016 and has a substantial cult following. He also has brought in a TON of money via small donations thus far.
Also, Biden has run for President several times and has never gotten as far as Sanders did in 2016 (if I recall correctly).
Furthermore, Sanders was overly civil and deferring to the establishment pick in 2016 and the DEMe club screwed him hard for it. I don't expect him nor his supporters to be nearly as appeasing this time. They know this is his last chance at the big chair and I think they are going into this election cycle with a far more aggressive stance.
Finally, Sanders represents a growing wing within the DEM party. Biden's brand of blatant corporate/wall street whore democrat is a dying breed.
But both Biden and Sanders are old as fuck and they might both just bow out for medical reasons or even die over the next 18 months and so, all the back and forth attacks won't matter in the end maybe. Real random shit can come up real fast in their age range and between all the handshaking (exposure to illnesses) and long hours on the road (lack of sleep and shit food), I wouldn't be surprised if one goes down for medical reasons this election cycle.

RE: The Andrew Yang thread
Sounds like Tucker is on the Yang Gang team or very close to being on it:
Quote:Tucker: Andrew Yang Is Only Dem Talking About Automation Taking Americans' Jobs
by Fox News Insider
2 minutes
Tucker Carlson said Thursday that automation and AI could eliminate millions of American jobs and only one Democrat is bringing it up.
The issue has been central to the campaign of entrepreneur Andrew Yang, who has also proposed a $1,000-per-month universal basic income to address the predicted job losses.
"I want somebody to tell the truth about it," Carlson said on "Fox News @ Night," adding that he'd be open to voting for someone like Yang who "thinks deeply" about a critical issue like automation.
Carlson said the issue is "completely real" and will also affect sectors of white-collar America, like the medical and legal industries. He said at the same time, millions of people are coming into the United States, filling jobs that may not even exist in five to 10 years.
"Nobody's talking about it, cuz 'Russia!'" he said.
Yang has argued that millions of U.S. truck drivers will be put out of work in the coming years once self-driving vehicle technology becomes adequate to replace humans behind the wheel.
Watch the full interview above for more from Tucker on the crowded 2020 field. Check out Tucker's interview with Yang below.

RE: The Andrew Yang thread
Sanders in some ways reminds me of Trump in 2016, in that he's got a hardcore group of followers who won't abandon him no matter what, where everybody's support is a mile wide and an inch deep. There's lots of Biden voters who might be persuaded to vote for Sanders under the right circumstances, but not a lot of Sanders voters who'll go for Biden. This is the same as in 2016, where Trump had a floor of support around 25-30% that he just could not go under, no matter what happened, and that was a really powerful advantage in a crowded field.
I have a feeling that the democrat field will winnow faster than the republican one did in 2020, so how much that'll help him, I don't know.

I can't tell if this is a late April fool's joke, but this is certainly one way for Biden to alienate an entire generation:
Quote:Millennials who think that times are tough in 2018 have no room to complain, according to former Vice President Joe Biden, who said that he had “no empathy” for young people who compared today to the struggles of the 1960s.
“The younger generation now tells me how tough things are—give me a break,” said Biden, while speaking to Patt Morrison of the Los Angeles Times to promote his new book. “No, no, I have no empathy for it, give me a break.”

Useless old man probably thinks that kids these days have it easy because "In my day we didn't have no cell phones."
Failing Yang, I hope Biden stomps him into the ground. Don't even let him make it to Trump.

...
All that Biden would need a 1% of the voters in MI and FL to beat Trump (0.3% in MI actually). In Florida, 1,400,000 mostly Black ex-felons are now allowed to vote, with "grassroots" Soros people signing them up in droves as Dems. Even Hillary could have won Florida with those votes.
I think Biden would comfortably beat Trump today, he's got the Obama vibe that will mean more Black votes, and white normies (who don't buy the Creepy Joe reality) don't hate him as much as they hate Hillary.
