You’ll note that many of the people who were outraged by his actions a month ago were angry because they saw it as him making a mockery of racially motivated crimes. They rightfully saw it as a setback to progress. Now we see that many of the same people who were outraged by him a month ago are now applauding the decision to drop the charges. They see it as a victory against whitey’s legal system.

What they don’t understand is if Jussie Smollett was dark skinned, unemployed Shitavious Washington from the south side, he’d be awaiting trial at the cook county lockup with a bond he had no hope of paying. And he’d be forced to take a plea deal that meant several years in prison.

Chris Rock was a presenter or something like that. He was told to stay on the plantation and not make any jokes about Jussie. He basically ignored that and said “what a waste of light skin” among other things.

I love the celebrity audience reactions at these award shows.

Its the "test of the new". They don't want to get it wrong.
They don't want to be the one star that doesn't 'get' the jokes.

The one thing they can't do is look confused or harassed by these gags.. so they tend to do totally fake rictus grins and eyes that are Elizabeth-Holmes-style Manson-Lamps, pushing their reactions way over the top.

And the one thing that comes across is that whatever reaction is on show, it isn't the real one.

This case is threatening to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Us here on this forum have known for a long time that the legal system isn't here to protect the average citizens; Western nations are the playgrounds of oligarchs, knocking over one anothers' sand castles. Nonetheless, it's the belief in the legal system that keeps most people law abiding; they courts don't actually DO anything, but the legend of a court system keeps society stable.

But with this, we're seeing the average person wake up and notice.

The elites have two choices: keep playing the game the way they have been, and the court system loses all of it's respect, leading to social chaos. Or start enforcing the law - not universally, of course, but some sacrifices will have to be made. Which elites will be handed over to the mob to protect the rest of them?

Will the celebrity caste rebel against their leash-holders? Most celebrities aren't that corrupt - drugs and orgies for the most part, videotaped evidence of homosexuality - but this only works as a threat against individuals; releasing dozens of tapes would implicate the directors and producers.

Heads need to roll for this, if law and order is going to be maintained; the problem is, the heads that roll have dirt on everybody else. Interesting times.

This is where the gay Tu-pac things comes from; from a gig he did after the attack.

It reminds me a bit of the Count Dankula saga. There is nothing that guy would have loved more than to become a professional shit poster after a viral Nazi pug joke. The guy was a nobody working in fast-food or something.

If you watch the whole gay Tu-pac video, you can see Smollett is floating. You don't boast you're the gay Tu-pac when you're reeling about the American nightmare. There's little that such a grievance pimp would love more to be in that position. His whole family is absolutely saturated in grievance narratives, despite them all doing well and living very comfy lives.

When I was much younger I had a strong association with the the sort of grievance culture Smollett lives in. It wasn't something I did often and I soon realised the impulses I was actually operating on, but there are a few occasions when I pulled a Smolett. I faked that I'd been wronged to use as leverage over other people.

But this is when I was about 8 and not a fully formed person. Jussie is 36. And he's surrounded by friends and family who will believe him no matter what.

This also reminds me of school. When a kid did something bad and the parents were brought in; sometimes the parents would want to know the truth and not get their child out of bad behaviour just because it was their child. They had a sense of honour, at least when eyes were on them. But others would believe anything their child would say in any case.

The left live in that universe, where them and theirs always have a Smollett to play as an excuse. There's never an instance in which certain people have responsibility for their actions. It can always be blamed on something else. And they no longer have enough fuel to hold together these narratives, so they make their own.

They aren't real people. They don't want any responsibilities.

The best thing about it is the back fire. As soon as he pulled the Barry O. get out of jail card with the stupid side dish of forfeiting your bond money I was laughing, waiting for the next stage in his downfall.

I can't think of anything the left has done that has worked in 3-4 years. Most of it ends up blowing up in their face. In particular this, Mueller, their marches and obstructionism, Kavanaugh, the resistance, #MeToo (rapist Argento), #TimesUp (rapey son) come to mind.

Here with Brexit, which has been sabotaged from day one, there are a number of possible betrayal outcomes, but it doesn't matter what they do, I am 100% confident it will end up being to their detriment. They're hollowing out the political, media and judicial trust with their antics. A lot are recognising Mueller is WMDs mark II.

I think I have laughed more in the last 3-4 years than the rest of my life combined. At these guys - the left. I guess it's what happens when the feelz take over. 2020 is beginning to look more and more like it will be better than 2016.

The BLM narrative and things like Smollet drive a huge wedge between cops and the left. It almost guarantees that if we have a mass unrest situation where one side is distinguishably “right” and the other “left” that the cops will side with the right.
