I am a Lawyer in America ,but I have no problem admitting I have no real understanding of the law in the UK/Scotland/Ireland- With my US Constitution colored lens, it appears they make up the law as they go-considering US common law is based on the UK model, it is weird that there is no freedom of speech......

I still don't understand the arrest- I talk to 15-20 women a day Friday-Sunday- that is a crime in the UK? I really don't understand. Are any members Barristers? I would like to be illuminated as to how things work over there.

Scottish criminal law is different to England/Wales.

They probably could have arrested him for public order section 5 ( causing harassment, alarm and distress). Or harassment, if he has approached the same female a second time after she rejected him initially.

For the men, I think it's about scoring points with women and people in their own social circle. Another part of them just hates seeing a guy who is more masculine in comparison to them, who is confident enough to walk up to women and even worse - sleeps with them. For women, it's probably a mixture of things. They can score social justice points online and it gives confirmation bias to their world view that they're victims and "oppressed".
Some of it probably also come from them never had a man approaching them because they're just simply too ugly or they've experienced an attractive man who had no interest in having a relationship with a low-life and just had sex with them.

People who get outraged about shit like this are usually very status-obsessed people and the way to gain that in their circle is to show others that you're the person who is the most upset. It shows you are SO virtuous and "good".

If this didn't go too far, when would you jump in and say enough is enough? For example, remember that story about that French author who said he didn't want to sleep with 50 year olds. How far fetched is it that he could be thrown in jail for his public words if this guy can be tossed in jail? When actions are taken like this, the big problem is it chills a lot of other behavior and speech.

They will get him for not getting consent to film an individual in a public space.


This guy also has prior convictions. So it wouldn't be surprised that they were gunning for him.

This BBC social article is a total hit job, and I think it may be done by one of the culprits that was behind the RVF Scottish protests.

Basically, they can nail this guy for "harassment" and covert filming. But, as for harassment, none of the actual women complained as far as I know, just some uppity blue-haired dyke who probably stumbled upon his YouTube vids. So I'm guessing the only conceivable thing they can do is charge him with distributing covert recordings. They sure as hell can't charge him with chatting up women, because if that's the road they're going down, they'll have to charge every other UK-based PUA, from Torero to Krauser, from Kesia Noble to James Tusk. They'll also have to start employing officers to walk around nightclubs making sure nobody engages in any kind of flirtation.

I know nothing about the PUA scene, and what little I have seen from them is cringeworthy. But that aside, I'm not mad at all. I just don't feel this event warrants any sort of battle cry. As a paki PUA he should have had the common sense to tread lightly. I can't pity a fool.

Communist China's media isn't as free as other places.

In Taiwan they go absolutely crazy about foreign pickup artists and either throw them in jail or run them out of the country (such as what happened to CjayRide).

I feel Taiwan is overrated myself. Sure I've smashes and even some unique flags here but I'm already tired of small asses / small breasts / midget women and would rather have a loyal FWB harem than being on the constant lookout for more women. I had an easier time in finding loyal / clingy girls in Korea than here (and there's more variety of appearances in Korea too).

I respectfully disagree, if your "annoying behavior" IS speech that others find annoying, then it's still speech. I deal with annoying people every day, not a big deal. Every once in a while I have to deal with annoying behavior, and every once in a while someone will find something I say or do annoying. I don't think anyone should be going to jail for it.

This is like that character in Asia, one dude spoiling the pond for everyone, to get his own (meager) profits.
