I'd like to know what's the over/under on Amazon being obliterated within the next 3-5 years. The obvious answer to Amazon ceasing to exist is: Yes the world would be a better place. It's not like small mom and pop shops can compete against a juggernaut that owns a grocery store chain and a propaganda outlet, with the potential to one day automate their warehouses. Bezos arguably is as powerful (if not even more) as President Trump prior to the divorce.

There's talks that the ex-wife may obtain part ownership of Amazon. Could be possible she decides to humiliate her ex-husband by dismantling what he built. The Board may decide to replace Bezos because the divorce court circus is too disruptive for operations. You don't replace Tom Brady for a questionable 2nd stringer.

Jeff Bezos is too powerful and is in deep with three-letter agencies.

MacKenzie Bezos and Lauren Sanchez must both believe they are well protected -- and the children.

Possibly they are being protected by the executive of the United States.

Bezos losing half his net worth is not going to affect his lifestyle. It will have a gigantic effect on his psyche, however.

When your lifetime identity is being the worlds richest man, centibillionaire, first potential trillionaire, etc, it's devastating to lose all of that in one windfall. It's like a powerlifter working his whole life to bench 450 lbs and now he can only bench 225. Still stronger than he will ever need, but his life's purpose has been shattered.

The public fallout will be huge. For the next few years he's going to have to deal with annoying press, the entire company knowing his bad game and sexual situation, and being plastered in every record book as "highest divorce payout ever."

It's hard to speculate on why such an accomplished man settles for mediocre talent. To do so you'd have to step outside forum logic. Most guys have moral issues with fucking women vastly younger than them, especially guys with young daughters. I can imagine the conundrum that I'd have if I had an attractive young daughter and I was sleeping with a girl around her age. I'd be horrified if a middle aged guy was sleeping with my younger daughter. Given her age, I'd say Sanchez is a 9. She's about as attractive as a 50 year old can get. Perhaps Bezos wanted an attractive woman who was still socially acceptable in his brain.

Also: hypergamy never sleeps. This Patrick Whitesell is a male 10. Looks, money, legend in Hollywood. His co-CEO was Ari Gold in entourage. Sanchez just couldn't resist blowing up her entire marriage, ruining face for him and her three children. When you're a man of this status and married to a hot, but middle aged mother of three, who would ever think that the richest man in world history would throw away tens of billions of dollars to thirst on her?

This is the best take on it so far. Completely agree except for the looks part on Lauren Sanchez. Body-wise perhaps (for her age), but that face looks quite hideous and plastic. Nonetheless you hit the nail on the head, and like any gameless chode, albeit a very financially successful one. People seem to forget he sent her dick pics. 54 year old married man with kids sending dick pics. Hey good for him I guess, strategy "worked" in this case.

But can Bezos be taken as seriously again? Will the board of Amazon take him as seriously? Top shareholders? He already demonstrated a conflict of interest in giving her Sanchez contracts to her video company. Small stuff that will pass over, but people are going to smell blood in the water; these utterly moronic, immature, and pathetic acts of infidelity made public, and the associated pattern of behavior certainly did him no favors.

I've noticed that a lot of this "news" coverage has come the National Enquirer. You can't check out at any large American grocery store without seeing it nearby.

While I don't buy tabloids, there is one thing consistent with them. In any divorce, the man will be portrayed as the bad guy. It's a safe bet that women make up at least 90% of the people who buy these zines.

Bezos is a chode. I'm not surprised at this. Why didn't he go for something younger? Who knows?

I can also imagine this. Bezos will tell politicians: "I'm going to have to lay off people to pay for this divorce, unless you give me a subsidy. Give me a subsidy, and save those jobs."

I wanted to point out how messed up our societal standards have become in 2019.

About a week ago, a meteorologist got fired because he mispronounced a word that sounded like a racial slur. It was a mistake. An error. He got canned. We did a thread on it here.

Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos knowingly shames his wife and kids by not just having an affair, but by sexting and sending dick picks (something his own newspaper warned teens against) and he gets to keep his job and his standing in the community la-de-dah.

This is bewildering to me. If a teenage boy at Georgetown Prep (let's say) had just gotten busted for sexting a teenage girl and sending her dick picks, you can bet the Washington Post would be calling for his head.

Speaking of which: What Bezos did was far worse than what Justice Brett Cavanaugh wrote in his high school yearbook. Yet Bezos' Washington Post spent weeks excoriating Kavanaugh for things he wrote in 1983.

The next time the Washington Post gets on a high moral horse, remember their owner once shared photos of his weenie. Kind of puts things in perspective.

They're making issues out of everything BUT what looks to be the biggest divorce settlement in history. Gee, could it be because Jeff Bozo's job is to advance "The Narrative" through his Washington Post?

Whatever the case, the Brits are on the case. The Daily Mail has a hilariously nasty article about Bozo's new flame, Lauren Sanchez.

The story tells of how she cheated on her former football player fiance, Anthony Miller, who played for the Denver Broncos. More importantly, it notes that she "expected him to pay for everything and then kept their engagement ring when they split after four years together."

It's being speculated that Bozo stands to lose about $68 BILLION over this affair when he gets divorced. Think about that. This woman is almost 50 and has a track record of not only cheating on her fiance, but cheating on her husband with Bozo!

What can we take from this? Well, if you've ever felt like you wasted a few bucks on a woman who wasn't worth it, it could be worse. A lot worse. $68 billion worse.
