Gay bars are alright the problem is you get comparatively few straight girls compared to what you would get in a straight place. Approaching is a bit easier but this is balanced by the fact there's only a handful of straight girls. I go to gay places quite a lot and I find straight places much better to pull.

I've found them a good place for a date because you can laugh at the gays and dance like a dick and have a bit of a laugh. I like to have a spliff with a girl before going, get the giggles seeing them gays gyrating in cages etc.

In a strange way gay clubs are quite good to learn from as you get an insight on what it's like to get a lot of attention and find yourself with a 'bitch shield'.

Gay bars could have an easy guaranteed 99% chance of a same night lay and I still wouldn't go to these sleazy places and neither should you. Just think about it, you can't place a price on your dignity, why would you want to be surrounded on faggots and have them creeping on you? The only thing you'll pick up in a gay bar is HIV

Used to do this with my college GF twenty plus years ago when a gay bar in Tampa had "straight night" on Thursdays. Truth was, only straight women would show while all the frat boys would cross the street to avoid the place, but therein I saw the possible advantage. When I showed up with my (attractive) GF it gave me major street cred with the "community," especially before all this gay-everywhere political bullshit started - they weren't trying to take over the culture back then.

Anyway not sure how it works now but I found it a great way to enhance an already existing social circle and monkey branch away from the GF on occasion. YMMV.
