Many reasons to delay marriage....It could have been for residency/immigration reasons as they both originated from the UK. Tax reasons... My own friend has been with his girl 12 years and have 4 kids and are still not married. They both wear simple bands on their fingers but they have delayed it for tax reasons.

I've lost an aunt this same way as my Uncle died unexpectedly through an accident and my aunt couldn't handle it. She literally... Literally... Dropped dead from hearing the news my Uncle passed away. It set of a wave of chaos in my family. My other aunt said to my mother that for my aunt her love for him was everything and without him her will to live just faded away. We have some hardcore Christians in my family so she further said that she asked God to take her to be with her husband as she did not want to be here without him.

It's intense stuff but it shows the real power of the bond that is created between man and woman when they are fused together by thier love.

Having said all that, I'll try to formulate my thoughts a little extra harder for tomorrow, as to why this is such a sad event, why we will be seeing more of it, and how it can be prevented in the future.

We are now in to the realm of (male) game saving (female) lives. They need our help now more than ever. They will need it more in the future again.

As beautiful as that story sounds, for the sake of argument (and I really mean no disrespect), if I had to be all "red pill" and regard the report as suspiciously as any other MSM propaganda article, I'd say she may have had mental issues or been unstable causing the suicide, and the "romantic" angle in the article is merely to hide the ugly truth. With some help and guidance she may have been helped and found a reason / will to keep living.

While I do admire devotion and love, a healthy young woman should be able to get on with her life eventually and find another mate. This. I don't get why some other posters in this thread are acting like this 5's suicide is endearing or merits sympathy and going as far as whiteknighting for her like Rigsby was.

Like Roosh mentioned in the OP, a normal woman would've grieved for a while and then moved on. The suicide's age and the length of her relationship with the departed are irrelevant, inflicting self-harm isn't a normal response to a stressor. I don't how know nor care how good this guy's game was, that bitch was out of her mind already and his death was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I recall this kind of act has been around for amillenials. Remember the Vikings, Danes, and Scandinavians in particular.

When the men and cheiftans died their wives, their wives, slaves, and servants would "commit suicide" to go with them to the afterlife and would be sent out by boat on to the sea and the boat set alight.

You also see this in China and Egypt as well.

Here we have an interesting kind of modern twist on it. Thing is that those weren't usually voluntary, but more a kind of expected cultural mandate with lethal consequences if they didn't. This guys girlfriend's suicide however was voluntary.

I think that's worth really grasping in today's modern age where romance is often a joke and people fall out of love. (Again I realize marriages were rarely for romance up until the mid 19th century)
