HQ Trivia founder found dead of 'heroin and cocaine overdose' had quit alcohol and faced complaints for his 'creepy' and 'aggressive' behavior at work and was working flat out to deliver a new hit as audience numbers for his game show app shrank

Colin Kroll, 34, had been repeatedly accused of inappropriate behavior towards female staff at Twitter and Vine, where he used to work

Rumors cost him investment for HQ Trivia, his popular game-show app, in 2017

Kroll apologized for his past behavior in March this year and won funding which valued Intermedia Labs, the company behind HQ Trivia, at $100million

The app was quickly losing its audience, however, and the company was relying on a new product to sustain the company

Kroll was planning on launching HQ Words, a Wheel of Fortune-themed game
HQ Words was due to be released in October this year but launch was delayed

Kroll's father said he was troubled by the HR problems and was working round-the-clock

He said he had recently quit drinking and was considering leaving New York City because the lifestyle was 'getting to him'

I'm guessing he was creepy when on heroin and aggressive when on coke. And a complete mess when on both.

I'm further guessing he was plenty popular with women when they wanted to party - probably even used drug game effectively. But those same broads saw an opportunity for profit and started with the accusations.

Now they sell the story that he tried to get them but was too creepy so they refused. Yeah right, and Jennifer Lawrence never fucked Harvey Weinstein.

I feel sorry for the parents.

We talk a lot about men unfairly targeted with amorphous sexual misconduct/rape allegations, but never really about the parents.

Even before his death, his old man probably felt his boy had half-died as a result of the stress and shame of scatter gun-fired "abuse" claims. Watching your child suffer from that would be gut-wrenching.

Maybe he became unpopular in San Francisco and known as creepy just cause he cared about making results and setting high standards in a work environment where there’s a lot of women who are just there to try everyone to get along.

His dismissal from Twitter could have been for a hundred different reasons (drugs, coming to work drunk, hitting on women, trying to act like Steve Jobs, saying something un-pc).

What is clear is that he managed to sell a viral app (Vine) for 30m to Twitter. It's clear he used drugs. What's not clear is whether the girl with him when he overdosed was his girlfriend or a ho.

Only thing I got from his body language is how socially anxious he seems (hand in pocket) and how he leans in which is indicative of low self worth.

Seems like he got sucked into a sick culture and didn't leave when he was ahead. Successful people never want to quit.

He seem's like a decent looking guy. If he spent some of money on testosterone injections, gaining muscle mass, building a better relationship with his masculinity, and etc. Instead of pursuing high valued white women, he should of dated ethnic. He was 5 foot 7 at 136 lbs...

He may have been using drugs to escape his problems with women. He looks to be blue pilled, but he should of took the red pill. His life would of turned out different.

These are just my assumptions. I personally don't know him, neither do any of you. But we can come up with conclusions, as to why he overdosed. This is probably a suicide.

Is his body language in the pic really that bad? To me it seems he is leaning in probably because the photographer asked him to and told him he is getting cut out a little. Besides the leaning part, rest of his pose with the hand in one pocket seems alright. Maybe a more alpha pose would have been to use his other hand to grab the girl by the waist and move in closer. Correct me if I am wrong.

In these situations what must one do? Tell the photographer that one is not going to lean in and ask the photographer to step back so that he or she can capture the complete shot? I don't know how practical is that during each photo as photos are taken fast at such events.

He died of a drug overdose. If he stopped believing blue pill bullshit like “AA has a 5% success rate”, and starting going to AA and NA meetings to take responsibility for his addiction, he would be alive today.

Once he had his drug addiction past him, he could have then traveled and lived anywhere in the world he wanted to. Latin America, the former Soviet Union, southeast Asia, Africa, you name it. There, he could have learned the local language and start enjoying the local pussy.

The truth of the matter is that there is not a millionaire in the world who can’t get pussy. Sure, they may have to get off the grid and leave the blue pill #MeToo infested United States or western Europe to find a place where women are still feminine and don’t think wanting to fuck someone is crimethink, but once someone has the money to leave the US, it’s an obvious choice if they aren’t getting pussy at home.
