I made one quick search with the phrase "rep system" and I found these threads:

I heard that someone already did this. From what I've heard, he's a very generous guy. He likes to squeeze out as much teachable lessons as possible in any particular post and then use the principle of redundancy to hammer down all of the lessons into his brain. Hardly anyone knows when that guy's on though. Few will talk about this.

If that guy actually reaches 1000000 likes...

It's mainly a bribe based system. But some of the meeker members also can be bullied into giving you positive rep points, that's how I got mine. Otherwise, it's beg, borrow, and steal!

People grant them by going to your profile. Common ways to get them are in person meetups, making high quality posts, and parroting groupthink in the applicable threads.


They also don't really do anything.
