Damn. When I was in Australia I remember a guy telling me that police officers had to like pull out a questionnaire and ask the suspect a list of questions before deciding whether or not shoot him. Maybe he wasn't joking after all haha.

Guys, we do not have a *police force* in Victoria anymore. Haven't had one since the early 2000s, probably even earlier.

What we have is a *police service*. They're here to be nice to everyone and welcome all the enrichment coming our way. If you have ever seen our glorious police service patrolling the CBD on weekend nights, with the soy policeboys, fat or tiny policewymyn in a happy smiling group, you'll know they only aim to please, not aim to shoot.

They are now the exact opposite of the good ol' Vic Police infamous for being trigger happy.

In fact, I'm shocked that they somehow managed to shoot this diverse fellow. Comrade Denial Andrews, our great premiere, must be very unhappy.

The great misconception is that the police are here to protect all of us. Their greater purpose is to serve the elite and enforce their rule.

Policy enforcers aren't going to straight up execute (without prior approval, hello SOG!) because of the million+ laws they and everyone else are bound by. And bound is the perfect term. These policy officers have their hands tied up so hard that an attacker needs to "cut the rope" first before they can defend themselves and not get punished for it.

Their primary job is to collect evidence for the courts, keeping the flow of money going to the government (enforcing policies, such as licensing) and protecting government assets, NOT private assets unless they're related or bleed guv-corp coins..

Edit: was this attacker directly or indirectly an "asset"?

They still need to foment a level of division.
