Hostility as an Inner-Game Strategy
I once started a long, controversial thread here asking about hostility. But I just had an epiphany. Cupcake described an Online Date Disaster and concluded I will not tolerate deception and allow myself to be forced into a shit date ever again.

Roosh echoed that he empathized with these "nice guy" tendencies. Yet Roosh posts essays such as "How I Planted The Seed Of A Revenge Cockblock" or "Do You Have To Stand Right Next To Me?".

Here is the f*cking problem. Too many men act decently and get treated badly. We need to foster a cynical attitude as a counterweight to our own chivalrous tendencies. I once worried this would engender a bitter, mysogynistic, and unattractive attitude. But now I think it is the opposite. A balanced attitude is healthy because it limits your frustration and steers your energy toward cheerful, positive interactions. You can train yourself to avoid black holes and time sinks of negativity and instead spend your time more productively with positive, rewarding women. Ultimately this will keep you warm, cheerful, and more effective with receptive targets. Let me know if I'm on the right track here, guys.

It's a thin line between being firm, direct and not tolerating bullshit - and actually being angry and embittered.

Anger doesn't really come into it for me. I may get angry if really pushed, and revenge can feel good when it's merited, but this is rare.

It's very possible to call out bullshit and be direct without letting your emotions get the better of you.

Yep. Just last Sat, I kicked a woman out of my apartment for being a disrespectful bitch.

Her: "Why are you angry with me?"

Me: "Unless I start enjoying your company again, I'm going to have to ask to you to leave."

Her: (Blank stare)

Me: "Nothing to say? Okay! Let's get you going then."

She flipped out at the back door, becoming hysterical about having to go out in the rain and that she would "call a friend", but I told her I'd give her some cab money and that shut her up. I brought her to the front door and told her I would call a cab, but instead she got really pissed off and just stormed out the door into the rain!

It was great, because it saved me 20 bucks.

But I didn't get that angry at her. Getting worked up over a whore isn't worth the stress.

It sounds like you are letting these girls frustrate you.

The best "Inner Game Strategy" is the one that gets you laid. Apparently, being a gentlemen is not working for you. Try being an asshole and see if that helps your results. In reality, the answer will be somewhere in between. You gotta know when to be nice and when to be mean. And, who to be nice to and who to be mean to. Experience is the best teacher.

This usually solves the problem.
