3D printing is a really fun one. Along with pyrotechnics (making display fireworks). The most enjoyable outdoor hobbies I have found are- gathering native foods, and kayaking ( only river kayaking!)

Jetset, I’m curious about some of your planning. Will PM.

Thinking back over the years, I see a pattern of hobbies coming and going, then some coming back around again. Just not enough time in each season of life to maintain all of them:

- travel
- playing/recording music
- language, became something between conversational and fluent in Spanish over the last two years. German is next, someday.
- fitness is a must, but I count something you look forward to a ‘hobby’.
- music in general (4-6 hrs daily), right now lots of electronic, house, dance.
- used to be in the ocean many times weekly, heard the call again this summer.
- had a few years of shooting.
- planning on learning to box next year
- camping was huge for our family for a few years, I have fond memories with my Doberman out in the wilderness but I know now is not the time.
- a few times a week I long board around my neighborhood, meditation??

With a couple kids and a mom with declining health I just wish there were more hours in the day.
