Could this be the end of day game in the UK?
My once glorious country looks like it's continuing on its path of becoming an Orwellian nightmare. The Voyeurism (Offences) Bill is anticipated to be passed soon, meaning that misogyny (but not misandry, obviously!) will become a hate crime and possibly result in imprisonment should you be found guilty:

Quote:Cat-calling and wolf-whistling could soon become a hate crime in Britain after the Law Commission announced it will review acts of misogyny.

Labour MP Stella Creasy has been leading a campaign calling for verbal abuse of women to be punishable in the same way as religious hate crimes.

This will include so-called cat-calling which means whistling at or yelling at a person in a 'sexually suggestive' manner.

The move was announced during a parliamentary debate on upskirting - and whether or not that should be a criminal offence.

Speaking in Parliament on changes to the Voyeurism (Offences) Bill on Wednesday Ms Creasy called for a full review - which was later granted.

The Upskirting draft which has Theresa May's backing, will allow judges to jail upskirting offenders for up to two years.

Announcing the news on Twitter Ms Creasy said: 'Government agrees to fund a law commission review into all hate crime including misogyny and look at new and existing offences - finally we are sending a message misogyny isn’t just a part of life we put up with but something men and women together commit to tackling. Thank you to everyone who helped us make the case to their MP!'

The full review will probe whether or not misogyny, which is defined as the 'ingrained prejudice against women' should become a hate crime. Currently, some serious misogynistic acts can be punished under other categories such as intimidation or harassment.

Ms Creasy said: 'This isn’t about creating new crimes but recognising as we do with racial and religious hatred when someone is being targeted because of who they are and saying it’s not for them to cope with it, but us all to stop it.'

The Walthamstow MP has previously called for an extension of a pilot project by Nottinghamshire Police, which has been recording misogynistic behaviour as either hate crime or hate incidents.

Miss Creasy, who was previously threatened with rape and violence on social media, said women are often made to feel as though their actions lead to attacks.

She said: 'Crimes like upskirting don't happen in a vacuum.

'They happen in a world where we don't see violence against women as a priority for action; where we tell young women to not walk around late at night as a way of staying safe, rather than those who hassle them that their behaviour is unacceptable.'

Ms Creasy has campaigned to end 'cat-calling' in her constituency over women being harassed in the street by men.
Conservative MP Christopher Chope single-handedly blocked the Upskirting Bill when he intervened at an earlier stage in the Commons, prompting widespread criticism.

The Tory grandee said he was acting on a long-held principle that has seen him routinely oppose backbench private members' bills - based on the way the bill was presented - and not its content.

Miss Creasy's campaign has not been welcomed by all, with some claiming the MP has ignored the way men are treated.

Fathers4Justice said: 'We have to STOP fanatical feminists like Stella Creasy DEMONISING men while turning a BLIND-EYE to misandry & the REAL abuse of children and fathers in secret family courts.'

However, her supporters have praised her for attempting to end appalling behaviour.

Iain Grant told on Twitter how he has been a victim.

He said: 'Why do people think this behaviour is okay?? I had long hair as a teenager and I got catcalled by a load of men in a car as I walked home from school - in my school uniform, so I was clearly under 16! It was frightening, embarrassing and horrible!'

A Ministry of Justice spokesman said of Ms Creasy's amendment: 'We already have robust legislation that can be used to protect women from a range of crimes.

'We are determined to see the upskirting bill passed as soon as possible, to better protect victims and bring offenders to justice.'

Now, obviously upskirting is just plain retarded... but cat calling? How is that misogynistic? if anything it's stating one's admiration!

On a more serious note, the Bill implies that 'street harassment' will also count as misogynistic behaviour. I can only think of the potential awful ramifications this will have on those who practice day game in the UK. All it will take is one failed approach and the woman can easily claim that she's being harassed. In line with other recent threads on the forum which pertain to how the game is changing, this proposed Bill confirms that looks are growing in importance. In the UK, it will be the main factor as to whether you have a successful approach, or get rejected and potentially imprisoned.

All in all we are increasingly heading towards an Orwellian State in the UK, where saying something that someone doesn't like is now a criminal offence. I look forward to whatever the next thoughtcrime will be.

Just get a heavy spray tan and pretend the only English words you know are "no English" with an Arabic accent if hassled by cops.

At that point they wouldn't arrest you for murder or raping kids, let alone day game.

Just try passing a law like that in Italy. You'll end up with an eyeful of moon. Like a bigga pizza pie.

That's not how we do things in Russia, comrade.

Men who wolf whistle tend to be hypergamously repulsive to women. If they weren’t, there would be no problem in their showing overt interest to women who live on 100s of social media likes per day.

Yeah, the handsome/rich/famous 'wolf-whistler's will be fine, but the rest will be arbitrarily thrown to the lions because of a woman's bad mood at whatever particular moment.

This law, (and others like it recently) horrifies me. A blind man can see how skewed the UK justice system (and society in general) is against men and boys. There is simply no equivalence with what women say and do (and get away with). We are constantly told how 'strong, powerful and incredible women' and girls are, yet if that were true; why would people so 'strong, powerful and incredible' need the state and society to provide them with assistance at each and every turn from cradle to grave. This newfound arrogance of theirs is a dangerous house of cards, propped up by the goodwill and apathy of sleepwalking men, most of whom just aren't in the game yet.

Congratulations to our once loyal women; you have been played, used and corrupted by other agents of destruction in ways your vilified men-folk would never have dreamed of. In doing the dirty work of others, you have succeeded in making yourselves toxic.

No man of good sense would risk any contact with them in their professional lives now, and even privately we will have to tread carefully indeed.

Also, let's see whether this upskirting law applies equally to Scottish men wearing kilts! Many a time in my part of the world, I've seen gangs of drunken women lift up blokes kilts on nights out 'as a bit of a laugh'. All a bit of fun of course. I'm sure the poor chaps out celebrating weddings, etc didn't mind a bit, nor find it humiliating.

I don't think it will happen.

Guys in the UK who are classically handsome, high status or attractive might appear to be immune, but there have been numerous cases of famous guys and general players who have been falsely accused in the UK. Even if appeals are successful, it can take years to clear the guy's name and often ruin him financially in the process.

You can bang 200 girls. All it takes is 1.

They call it wolf whistling but its really just harassment of women the police can use to snare men on nights out or flirting with women and those women dont want it.

Its making more sense every month why the founding fathers of the USA wanted away from the British over their tyranny.

The very term "wolf whistling" is hysterical: sophistry in action, devoid of any hard facts. It's like the term "glass ceiling" - something that disenfranchised Western women can use to silence their dissenters (and save them from having to make logical arguments). I expect to see more of this term in the future.

Issues like this remind us that rhetoric is an integral part of the culture war.
