A womans looks will never decline as long as health and fitness are a priority to her.

Too many guys prefer women who do the minimal amount of activity and hope that genetics will keep them looking good.

An embarrassing amount of guys don't realize it takes work to be attractive.

If you're in it for the long haul with a chick, you'll have to take some protective measures. Don't smoke, don't tan, don't drink too much. Forget tropical island vacations. Make sure she exercises, but that she still keeps a little baby fat on her. The MSNBC article says that sun exposure damage doesn't show up much in her 20s and 30s, so don't think it doesn't matter.

Also, hotter women stay hotter. Their looks generally decline slower than uglier girls. A 9 at 20 could be an 8 at 35, while a 7 at 20 could easily be a 5 at 35, or worse. They cease to resemble women very quickly. I've noticed that upper class white women age a lot better than lower class ones. And upper class women in general do a better job of taking care of themselves.

And Scandinavian women can still look phenomenal as they age. They tend to have very prominent, defined bone structure and nice eyes that resist aging well. I'd see 50 year old women in Denmark who'd still look great. Defined faces in general age better.

Damn, in this picture she looks like she's in her 20s. I think that sun damage (tanning) and lack of exercise are the major contributing factors we see in the early aging of American women, though I notice that black women tend to age better compared their white counterparts. Anyone else notice this?

I've noticed (take this with a grain of salt) that women who have male babies develop exaggerated features like weird faces and get bigger boned. Probably from the surge of testosterone during pregnancy. It happens to body builders who use steroids too.

Any women I know that had girls still appear very sexy and feminine.

The irony of the sun damage is that you make vitamin D from the exposure, so your immune system works great than and less likely to be depressed. There has got to be a safe point between too much and enough for immune system function.

The truth is, you only really need about 15 minutes of direct sunlight a day to get all the Vitamin D you need. These women are out for hours a week or using tanning beds, both of which are terrible for you.

Its the melanin. It protects the skin from sun damage and also makes it significantly more flexible, which means fewer wrinkles with age and a smoother consistency over time. The skin is just more durable.

This obviously creates a big advantage during the aging process (assuming the person in question stays away from hard drugs, alcohol, etc) and will naturally result in more youthful looks over time (on average).

So then the darker the better, then? I want a lizard so dark, it looks like there is a hole in my bed when she lies there.

In theory yes, though not significantly so. A girl with a dark or light caramel tone probably won't be at much of a disadvantage when compared to a midnight black counterpart. Both will do quite well, so you probably won't gain much by selecting for the darkest tone possible. If she's got significant African ancestry (1/8th or more I suppose is a good threshold), then the positive effect will be there in force.

I will also add that white women have the potential to age much better than they are often perceived to with the right care. A white woman who avoids tanning/tanning beds, doesn't drink like a fish, eats reasonably well and tries to exercise at least 3 times a week can close the gap on many of her black counterparts regardless of melanin. Some of the European women posted here are evidence of this. I'm sure Ms. Timoshenko is naturally quite attractive, but I'm also willing to bet that she exercises regularly, doesn't get shitfaced very often, watches her diet and avoids ruining her skin by making excessive appointments with the sun (or the make-believe sun, in the case of tanning beds) just for the hell of it.

The problem is that, in the USA at least, most white women don't follow this program too well. This creates a much starker contrast than I think would otherwise be there, and accelerates aging rapidly.

I'm sure to let every white girl I get with know that I don't prefer tans, and her skin is fine the way it is (pasty or not). They're usually surprised by this, but to me it is a no-brainer. Tans are a bad investment.

Shitty food generally and not exercising. And it does seem that class has a lot to do with it. Women who have money to take care of themselves just age better.
