Hello all,

So i have been travelling in Spain, France Italy recently. I noticed the overall bad ratios and big group of thirsty guys.
Several threads on the travel forum notes the same thing.
I wonder, in terms of demographic the number of men is more or less equal to the women.
So how come this phenomenon is so well spread and where are all the women going?
It might sound a bit of a naive thread but i would really like to hear your opinions

I think it's fatness plus staying inside. I mean girls just don't go out In public as much.

I don't know about cities and countries but I can tell for a fact that in last couple of months, in coolest bars in my city ratio of men to women is basically 3 to 1. Some Saturdays in one particular bar there are literally 3 girls, surrounded by dozens of guys. Why does that happen here? My theory that this is the time of LTRs and girls are going out mainly with their BFs and not on girls nights or are staying at home. Guys on the other hand just go out to get drunk and not approach.

Girls often stay at home at the weekend because the reality of cultural enrichment is not pleasant to encounter at the nightlife.

Mostly there are more women and with that you can not touch them or make compliments because it is abuse, permissive society with feminism but if a male gets into legal problems like now Juan darthes who accuse him of raping. It gives the feeling that being a man is a crime. but if you are feminist or LGBT groups, everything is fine.

I attribute it to globalization. Women having more options than ever in the developing world thanks to smart phones.

The worst place I saw in my life must had been the Republic of Georgia. Anytime I went outside I did headcounts and would count 6 to 12 men for each woman. And that 1 woman I did see was on a date with a guy (her husband or LTR).


Forget the bar: it's genuinely rare to see more women than men in public anywhere in the world and I've been to nearly 40+ countries by now.

Even in backwards poor Ukraine with no jobs I would see shit like groups of 3-6 men who were drunk at 3 PM and acting weird.

In Taiwan's case the ratios seems a bit better but a lot of women here are strongly androgynous in appearance.
