Agree with most things already mentioned, but i want to emphasize on poor hygiene. For me it's #1 turn off.

I was gaming a cute 7.5/10 girl that i met at a friends birthday party. We kicked it off well and we went out on our first date. Went for a walk and talk and decided to invite her to my place "to taste the best burger ever" that i was expert in making. She agreed.

A few days later we went on our second date. I brought her to the gym with me. Most girls i take with me are usually lazy and whiny, and cry after 20 minutes of training. "Aren't we finished yet? We finished our gym session and were sweaty. I told her we should take a shower and meet down here at the gym lobby in 10-15 minutes. "Take your time" i said. 10 min later i come out of the shower, going down the stairs expecting her to not be finished, since im used to most girls having to put on makeup, moisturize, use body wash and spend a lot of time on their hair. But to my surprise, she was sitting there already. "Wow that was quick, did you take a shower so quick?" She just awkwardly nodded.

I didn't think much of it. We went to my place, started making out, started stripping down, i was about to go down on her, but she blocked my head from going down there. I thought, fuck it you're missing out. I started fingering her instead to get her warmed up and as i pull her panties down i smell a rotten smell of death. Holy shit. It hit me. To this day today she probably think im just a big talker with erectile dysfunction, but i honestly don't care at this point. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

In context, the smell was so bad that i had to open up my windows in my apartment and empty a small air freshener. I wish this was a joke...but it seriously happened.

I'll try to help the female lurkers here by explaining why these things appear on my list so you don't just write it off as "misogyny":

1. Fat. Yes, another man saying that fat is the biggest turn off. Not only does it look awful, but it carries with it health implications for you and our unborn baby. It shows lack of care for yourself and respect for a prospective partner. Best foot forward and all that. Fat women are deluded, unhealthy, smelly (no, you can't smell it but we can), and most of all, lazy. If you can't be bothered to preserve the one thing in this life that matters most - your health - how can we respect you? Of course it also begs the very important question: if you can't look after yourself, how are you going to look after our children? So you see, "fat" isn't just a word; it's an umbrella term for a whole host of undesirable traits that affect you, me and our children.

2. Tattoos. Now most of us can overlook a discreet ankle tattoo or a little dolphin on your shoulder or something (still a -1 in my book), but shitty stripper-esque tattoos do not show your originality or style - they show your lack of impulse control. What do women with low impulse control turn into? Sluts. Not wife material, not LTR material, just save yourself some pain and cash and have one tattoo: "I'm easy" on your forehead. That'll save time.

3. Excessive travel and wanderlust. Now I know that not every woman who travels is immediately jumping the bones of every local man, but if you've been travelling a lot by yourself or with friends there's a bloody good chance you've been getting banged out by a lot of men. That ruins you for an LTR/wife. Sure, do what you want, you're a free woman - but understand that it changes you, even if you don't realise it. Freedom of choice comes with freedom of consequence. This doesn't mean that you can't travel - just do it with us. If that's not what you want to do and you want to go by yourself or with the girls, ask yourself WHY. Maybe it's an innocent reason...maybe not.

4. Bad breath/hygiene. Seriously, if you can't be bothered to spend 5 minutes a day brushing, flossing and using mouthwash, what effort can I expect you to put into a relationship? It bad manners to make people endure it, and socially idiotic. This goes for hairy legs, unkempt bushes, etc: yes it might be 'natural', but so if shitting, pissing, BO, etc so let's just do it all in the street, right? It's natural after all!

5. Being a 'strong' woman. Sigh...no, your shitty, snarky, argumentative attitude does not make you a strong woman. It makes you unpleasant to be around and more trouble than you are worth. We spend all day in business and work fighting with other men (and now women) for success. We don't want some ball-busting harridan driving us away when we get home. You are not being strong, you are just being unpleasant, poor company and it shows a lack of social calibration. It also shows that you don't give a fuck about us. In your 'You Go Grrl!' circles that might be an asset, but if you want a decent man for a LTR/marriage then drop that shit. We get it all day from people who are better at it than you so quit being such a pain in the arse. FYI, any man looking for a relationship wants an actual strong woman: a woman with feminine strength, not aping masculine strength. We want you to raise our children, to carry on if we get sick or die, to never give up on us and our family, to have the smarts to step back and let us handle our shit when we need to and to step forward and support us when we need it...THAT is feminine strength, not "I am woman hear me roar, you can't tell me what to do!", because we both know that when there's a spider in the kitchen or a bump in the night it isn't you that's going to handle shit.
