So I moved from the UK to Bangkok 4 months ago. I woke one January morning, looked out the window and thought bollocks to living in this shit hole a moment longer. 2 months later I was a plane to BKK.
A number of reasons for coming here, one of which is of course women. I should confess first of all that I am one of the world's greatest losers when it comes to finding women and sex. Back in the UK I could literally go more than a year pussyless.
I'm not ugly or anything, probably just average, I even have hair and teeth. But I'm not young anymore being late 40's, and also at 5'8" I'm a bit on the short side which is probably worse than being a pedo as far as western women are concerned. I'm also not massively social or a party person. On the plus side, I'm not short of money and years of working out has given me the body of a greek god lol.
So I've tended to rely on dating sites/apps like Tinder, and here’s what I found: Thai women are great with a camera, they all look gorgeous on your screen. In person however 99% of Tinder females are fat or ugly. I've met around 50 women since arriving and clearly I need a different approach. If you want to bang a fat chick it's easy, I did once only an hour after meeting for a full fat latte in Starbucks, but kind of regretted it when I saw her waddle naked to the bathroom and squeeze through the door.
So apart from hookers I haven't done a hot woman yet, being in Thailand of all places only confirms my status as pariah to the worlds female population. I need to break this vicious cycle of celibacy and porkers.
Any experts out there got any tips ?

You think moving to another country is going to automatically solve your problems? Thailand is a beautiful country that has more to offer than just young women lining up to suck your shriveled under used old dick. Maybe investing a bit in the culture, language, and people besides ogling trashy Thai thots through a Chang haze every night will get you access to better women and people. Just a thought.

Exactly! Plus the Thai language is formidable.

Philippines has very pretty women and most speak passable English. You can get laid like a king in Philippines.

Suggest to read up on the comments here about Philippines. Avoid its armpit, Manila which is a huge shit-hole. Cebu and Davao are better, if you are a big-city boy.

I prefer the peaceful coastal cities of about 100,000. Examples: Bacolod, Ilo-Ilo, Dumaguete, and Dipolog are good ones and very enjoyable.

Maybe a bit too harsh on a guy that genuinely came to seek advice. There's a time, place and method for that which you seem fully unaware of. Damn.

That said, OP, you better heed the advice of men trying to help. There are also other threads with game and BKK information you could easily find. Show us that you're willing to apply the advice. Maybe start your own self improvement or approach thread to track your progress and have us hold you accountable.

If you're looking for easy answers without making an effort, however, please don't waste our time.

O.P. I would guess the problem is your reliance on dating apps. In most countries girls you meet from the internet will be lower quality (on average) than girls you meet through day-game or night-game. Grow some balls and start approaching beautiful women you see during the days. Approach 3 - 5 girls you see when walking around during the day (i.e. daygame) for a month and report back your results. If you fail after a month of consistent approaching I am sure guys here will you help you out. Asking for help when you have put no effort in to begin with is unlikely to get you much sympathy.

In the past 10 years I've met approx 400 women from online dating and I can assure you that felt like a lot of effort after a while. However I assume by effort you mean approaching women in the real world and it's true I haven't done a lot of that.
Since I've been in Thailand I've actually had 2 women approach me, the only problem they were both over 50. One just turned up out of the blue in a food court with 2 drinks in her hand, sat down opposite me and started chatting. Oh and I've had a ladyboy ask me out for a drink. She had balls !
You're right online the quality is low, and from I'm hearing getting lower every year. So yeah it's definitely time to try a different approach.
Interestingly on Tinder my banter only really improved when I didn't give a shit anymore. I almost assumed that each interaction was going nowhere and I may as well have a laugh. I took the piss and they seem to enjoy it.
I guess I'm gonna need the same attitude when approaching…

You are in Thailand. get yourself a cheap flight down to Phuket and go live at a Muay Thai camp for a month or two (I can put you in touch with british owned ones that will look after you).

You will get in the best shape of your life and learn about thai culture from the trainers. You will learn to fight to a rudimentary level.

You will be a different man at the end of it. A better man.

It's up to you.

@saweep do you have to spar when you're in the muay thai camp? Reason why I ask is because during my college days I did boxing and while I loved the adrenaline rush, did not enjoy getting the snot beat out of me from time to time. Doesn't matter how good you are, there is always someone better.

I'd be interested in doing the muay thai camp for a concentrated course to get back in shape but don't want to deal with injuries.

However Thai style sparring is not like we do in the west. It's gentle and playful. You just have to ensure you aren't sparring with lunatic westerners.

OP, you're meeting with ugly/fat girls because you don't know how to properly screen a girl's photos. Recently I've met plenty of cute girls on Tinder in Bangkok. You need to look through her Instagram and make sure she has lots of angles of herself.

Bangkok isn't for everyone. Pussy is very easy to get in Thailand, but you still need to be calibrated properly. It's easy to go without pussy in Thailand if you don't know how to get it there.

most girls I've gotten from tinder were 6 and some 7. Age range 18-24. I'm 30. My pictures on Tinder are really good though. Most are of me doing extreme sports, hiking, with animals, and a 6 pack photo. Don't expect good results from tinder if your photos aren't better than everybody else's. Hi guys i have been to Thailand in many occasion and as far as you are westerner white guy you have advantage.
But in Bangkok the exotic factor tend not to favor you as much due to alot of foreigners.
If you want a better result its better to go outside of Bangkok. And i think day game and Night game is best in Thailand, with thai girls if she likes you it's pretty much sex is guarantee unlike western girls.
I have also been to Philippines Cebu ,Pampanga near angel city. In Philippines also western factor plays a major part, but day game is a must in Cebu. But the good thing about Southeast asia is the juice is worth the squeeze and guess what , sometimes you don't have to squeeze too much but the juice is still coming out. While here in west (UK or State) you have to real go out every weekend and real hassle to get anything.

If you are struggling in thailand... you will struggle anywhere in the world. The place is one of , if not the easiest place to get girls. The downside like most people have mentioned is the quality. You will see daily bald, old (older than you), fat white dudes walking around with smoking hot 20 year old girls. Whether they are paying for it, sponsoring.. whatever, you can't be worse off than these guys.

Sounds like serious fundamental issues - be it external or internal , probably both.

External - gym, getting fitting clothes, decent (up to date haircut), shave / grow beard depending on face shape. If you solely relying on tinder, do all those things then get better pics - hire a professional photographer if need be.

Internal - 5"8 in thailand is tall. Height should be an non-issue.
