This is exactly what I was thinking. This guy acts like the kind of guy who likes to be put down. He found the perfect girl to treat him like a bitch, and he's loving every moment of it.

Indeed. What I've learned in those ten years is that you should never judge another person's relationship choice. Only once you've been known them for years you may get the whole picture. Remember, when you say you don't really understand someone's LTR choice you're basically saying you wouldn't choose them. But someone may have different preferences. So far it looks like we can't even come to a single set of preferences when it comes to looks.
