Steve Ditko, 1927-2018
He created Spider-Man along with Stan Lee. Unlike Lee, he was very reclusive and declined almost every request for an interview. He split with Lee in the mid 1960's for reasons which are still unknown. He continued to create characters way past his retirement age. Ditko would have turned 91 later this year.
