RE: 2012 Election: Who do you think will win?
Obama is nothing more than a creature bred by the education system in America. He is a total product of the institution. He made it to top schools because of affirmative action. His college publications are trash, most of the posters on this forum are better authors than him.

He played his whole life of filling in the "successful black man" role that the white left loves; obama has no soul, no charecter. Just a bunch of empty platitudes.

^^^^^^This is what you see when you strip away the mainstream media propaganda you have been fed the last 4 years.

Finally.

So you realize he is not a "left wing socialist", he is a product of the institution and only helps perpetrate the system.

I knew this thread would make people come around.

That it's all about race for you?

I think deep down he is a radical Socialist. Look who his mentors are and who he surrounded himself with. He portrays himself as sort of a Robin Hood and if he had his way he would be just that. Fortunately this isnt a dictatorship and he doesnt have that power. But when he had complete control of Congress thats the mantra he pushed.

Obama is all about race, if you think for a second he would be anything other then a middle management schlub if he was white you are nuts. Every single opportunity that guy had was given to him via race, whether it thru affirmative action education programs, jobs as a community organizer (aka agitator) where he was doing nothing more then trying to get poor blacks riled up, to his runs for candidate on each level, every step of the way he got where he got by being black, and had he been the exact same person w/in the shell of a white man he'd being nothing more then a mid level government worker at the county level.

Yes you're right. It's a real cakewalk to get into Harvard Law, become a US Senator and then Commander in Chief. Not to mention beating Hillary C along the way. I can't even imagine why a concept like affirmative action would exist, can you?

You aren't quoting Brian, you're quoting me.
It's only about race because powerful left-wing whites decided on using race to divide and conquer the American public. It's these demagogues who put in affirmative action during the 1970's, and it is the same ones who were actively looking for someone like Obama.

Most issues of racism are completely fabricated. The elites don't give a shit about race, they just pay lip service to it to manipulate morons who think racism is a relevant issue.

RE: 2012 Election: Who do you think will win?
Can we have a decent discussion about Obama without having to hear the same loony-tunes bullshit about Race and "Socialism"?

The guy is an ineffective leader, but mainly because he doesn't have the experience to weather the storms of a fucked up Republican congress. Obama's not a bad guy, but he's just not politically experienced enough to be effective and get the right kind of shit done.

The Republicans are not doing shit, and just making things difficult for him so that they can make him look ineffective. If he were a bit more experienced politically, he, Obama, could take steps to publicly humiliate the Republicans, but he's not doing that in order to appear wise and confident.

A good politician approaches his job like a good chess player, he knows his opponent's next 9 moves. Like chess, you get good with experiences, and he just doesn't have enough experience to win this game.

It's funny because your sarcasm is true.

When I was applying for law school, there was a popular law school calculator that gave odds based on your GPA, LSAT score, and if you were an unrepresented minority or not.

With my LSAT of 168 (top 96%) and GPA of 3.55, I wasn't even on Harvard's "Maybe" list.

I checked off the minority box to see if the results changed. Suddenly, my chances at Harvard became "Strong Consideration".

When you see a black or hispanic in upper education, remember that they need to do around 35% less work than a white or asian guy does to get the same results in our "education system". lol

really?? thats the best you could come up with there?

the chips fell a certain way for him. he has one real skill - he is a very good speaker. he was in the right place at the right time a few times and ended up being prez. he won a few elections by having his opponent taken off the ballot at the last minute, got critical acclaim for a book its likely was ghost written, spent two years as a junior senator voting 'present' and beat a weak republican candidate at a time when republicans were out of favor. all while being told how special he was.

frankly McCain has a similar story. went to the Naval Academy, graduated at the bottom of his class, crashed a plane, then became a war hero by not snitching, married a rich chick, and ended up a Senator. I respect the hell out of him for not snitching while the Vietnamese were torturing him but there really is nothing in that resume that makes him a good President.

Are you aware that Bush got into Yale on affirmative action? Actually MANY whites get into top tier school on affirmative action, of a different sort:

I cant help but laugh at your typical liberal result to an attack on your holy obama - blame Bush.

"For starters, Obama did not do nearly well enough at his previous stop, Columbia University, to justify admission to Harvard Law.

According to the New York Sun, university spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated in 1983 with a major in political science but without honors.

In the age of affirmative action and grade inflation, a minority in a relatively easy major like political science had to under-perform dramatically to avoid minimal honors. Obama apparently did just that.

The specifics we may never know. As the New York Times concedes, Obama “declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years.” "

Good point, rich whites are born with every possible advantage and get into ivy league schools because of the "old boys network", and their families make huge donations. This is pretty much a know fact.

I'm not crazy about affirmative action, but trying to say Obama was successful in life because of affirmative action is bull shit. I'd say George W. Bush was "successful" in life because he was born into the right family (the rich and powerful).

How come you idiots weren't crying out loud when George W Bush got into Yale and Harvard with his remarkable C average, that would have most likely have been a D or an F average were it not for his family connections? We had a bloody chimp for a President for eight fucking years and you dumb hicks were definitely not saying shit then.

If bashing Obama's education record is not some sort of racism, then I don't know what is. You guys need to get your head out of the gutter.

Look up Sarah Palin's lousy education record too. When liberals were bashing her about it, the cons were all circling the wagon to defend her.

So in other words you don't know if Obama was accepted into Harvard on race-based affirmative action. You're speculating. There are other reasons people may be admitted. You simply don't know and you are jumping to conclusions that you want to jump to and making sensational claims about his merits. If it's your point to say that he is not presidential material, I don't think you can be an idiot and graduate from Harvard law school with honors. So in the end, what difference does it make? There may be affirmative action going into school, but there's damn sure no affirmative action for graduation. In fact, if he did get into Harvard on affirmative action, I think it actually makes the case for affirmative action. We clearly see that his not graduating from Colombia with honors did not effect his ability to graduate from Harvard at the top of his class.

Secondly, it's not a requirement to graduate with honors to be a president. We've had many presidents that never graduated from college, some of which are featured on our currency. The only requirement is that you be at least 35 and a natural citizen.

Secondly, it's not a requirement to graduate with honors to be a president. We've had many presidents that never graduated from college, some of which are featured on our currency. The only requirement is that you be at least 35 and a natural citizen.

Of course I'm speculating, he wont release his records. He is welcome to but he wont. And all the logical evidence points to him not having the grades. He is welcome to prove me wrong.

Yes you're right. It's a real cakewalk to get into Harvard Law, become a US Senator and then Commander in Chief. Not to mention beating Hillary C along the way. I can't even imagine why a concept like affirmative action would exist, can you?

It's funny because your sarcasm is true.

When I was applying for law school, there was a popular law school calculator that gave odds based on your GPA, LSAT score, and if you were an unrepresented minority or not.

With my LSAT of 168 (top 96%) and GPA of 3.55, I wasn't even on Harvard's "Maybe" list.

I checked off the minority box to see if the results changed. Suddenly, my chances at Harvard became "Strong Consideration".

When you see a black or hispanic in upper education, remember that they need to do around 35% less work than a white or asian guy does to get the same results in our "education system". lol

Dude, I hear you!!! My ex girlfriend a upper middle class black girl got into all the top law schools with a 4.0 GPA from UC Berkeley with a major in African American Studies with a 168 LSAT score. Although her gpa is much higher than yours I highly doubt with those stats that you as a white male could crack the top 10. Next fall she will be attending Harvard Law with a good chunk of her college paid for through scholarships and grants.

She had a 4.0 from Berkeley and 168 LSAT...

Back in the day, guess how many blacks or non-Wasps were allowed to study at Harvard? With a 4.0 or 168 LSAT or not.

0%.

But I'm sure admissions would be perfectly fair with you and Samseau reviewing applications.

BTW-where did you end up studying law, Samseau?
