Anyone know how to properly gutter game? I have mutual friends who are supposedly constantly pulling within the hour and even less. All they tell me is to “pull the trigger”. Anyone willing to breakdown the steps? Do I babystep the pull to my place in gutter game or just go straight to “let’s have drinks at my place?”

They call it gutter game for a reason.
You're mostly looking to pull 4's and 5's at last call...Is that what you really want to focus your energy on?
Lift, eat right, stack your money.
Sooner or later you wont need to concern yourself with "gutter game" when girls are calling you asking when they can come over.

True, that it really aren’t the prettiest girls, but I’m doing it so I can just change my reality that pulling girls from nightgame is normal and to stop pussyfooting. I plan on upping the quality of girls once I achieve this.

Gutter game in NYC is NOT a compromise on quality!

It's like, why talk to Girly in the bar when you can talk to her while she's quietly walking to the next bar with her cute friends?

I've used this and met flings, LTR's, and occasional ONS. Every time I pulled it off, I thought to myself "no way these girls would have swiped me online!"

Best part is, most times the girls aren't even drunk, maybe had one or two drinks.

It's key to pick a good area, partyish, but not a shit-show.

Again, there are certain vibes / areas in NYC (les, e/w. village, meatpacking, even parts of midtown, obviously north brooklyn), where everyone's walking around fun main drags and open to socializing.

Technique-wise, it's more of the "would joke/chat with anyone", but towards girls / groups, there's so much spontaneous convo to make, commenting on actual drunks, funny incidents in the street, going balls direct, etc.

A big win for me has been, early in convos, when I realize they are relatively newer to the city, suggest some places to go (even with them), make friends, merge groups and get one more drink at another place. Just mix it up with social "I own this town" vibes and you'll quickly see who's interested.

Also: does NOT need to be last call. 8-11pm could work fine, for instance.

I've experimented with this and found it no different than daygame, really. Difference being some daygame girls have somewhere more pertinent to go like work but that's more about where you choose to daygame.

I guess it could be screening quality though because girls who go out at night, especially alone are also more likely to be into casual sex I'd wager.

I haven't done much gutter game but I like the concept. Nothing like scoring on the last minute.

My main worry in late night street game is that girls will be extra defensive. What is your experience, those of you who do it often? Do they get any strange vibe or does being direct work well?

Trent, two things:

a) why would it have to be late night? It can be 6pm for all we care

b) if it is late, by being INDIRECT VERBALLY with DIRECT NON-VERBALS, you will overcome defenses because of the high plausible deniability. Once you see actual interest / hook, then you can turn on the more verbal directness


The frame of mind is, you are high on yourself, maybe you left a party, maybe your friends went home early, maybe you haven't even met up with them yet. You're just loving your stroll through a "good vibes" area, and making chit chat as if it were Sunday morning.

However, you are on direct lookout for girls (seriously, pairs of girls and up are fine, if you see solo girls that's fine too), ones with their wits about them who will experience a nice contrast tingle as you confidently charm them without the direct "sup mah" verbals from the nightclub. Of course you have your intentions, and you use your eyes and body language to suggest "it's on", and verbal charm to suss out logistics, befriend her friend(s), figure out a plan.

For example, maybe you bounce 2 girls to a new bar they haven't heard of, so you can prepare to isolate the one you like (and they can do the whole "you're okay right? okay i'm leaving, have fun with him, girl!" which, in big cities, girls often do -- thus DE-cockblocking each other).

It's a few things happening at once, but for me it's been a natural (and built-up) result of going out with no plans.

a) Perhaps we have different definitions of what "gutter game" is. In my book it's approaching on the street, probably after most venues close. 6pm I would consider daygame. There can be a difference in how you approach depending on time of day that's why I'm making the distinction.

b) I see. Yeah, that's definitely a safer way to approach late night than going all in direct. This has been brought up in another thread, if a girl is down at that time then even common chit chat about how the night went should be enough to get things going. Having said that, I've seen infields of guys going direct and getting a make out within minutes or bouncing to another place.

I agree with the general vibe you're suggesting though, no plans just having fun and being open to whatever may come.

I had some success with gutter game. Once I pulled a girl in 5 min to ditch the bar and come to mine for "drinks". Key here is I have good logistics, living walking distance from the nightlife area. Other times I failed walking with the girl towards my place, but she wouldnt follow. I usually have to be a bit drunk to gutter game, but the girl ideally is a bit drunker than you. I use a daygame type approach, which I have practised by actually doing daygame as well. Separates you from totally drunk howlers.

No doubt they do. But they give you a hint about what the vibe can be like in gutter game. And they can be pretty useful learning material.
