I'm recently 28 and I live right next to a major university. I've tried touring the campus on a sunny day last year and making on sunbathing girls, but it just felt awkward. Never went back.

Maybe it's all in my head but I fell like I'm...too old. I know that's not true but you know how college girls are. I figure I could always claim to be looking into the grad program as a cover, but I still feel like I can't connect to these girls very easily.

Any tips for the college campuses or college parties/events for us older dudes? I have a particularly difficult time opening college girls in groups. They seem to intentionally make things awkward, like no one wants to be the first to approve of my presence.

It's football season and I know the time's right to make something happen!

You're not old, you're mature, women like mature. Open them like normal and use them being younger to your advantage. Hell I'm looking forward to a few years from now when I can use my age as an advantage.

28 is young. It's all about how you look, Self Esteem and game. Greater emphasis on looks, especially muscles.

You sound like the type of guy that needs a lot of self improvement so start talking to women who don't intimidate you. develop your game.

A high level of fitness should be a given.

I feel your pain as I'm 33 and live in a major college town. The hotties seem to mostly like frat boys that are like 6'2. I'm 5'11 and pretty average looking so I hired a personal trainer and am working out like a mofo. If I can't catch their height, at least I can have a better body. I'm also looking to move to a larger city that doesn't revolve around a university. I'm not mad at anyone. When I was 20, I thought 25 was old so I can definitely relate. I just seem to have better luck with the "hot" demographic in cities like Memphis or Atlanta where it's not all about what frat you are in.

The only real problem with American colleges is the quality is low end. (Something everyone fails to mention).

Yeah 28 is prime time for college poon. I tore through Athens from 07-09 and it suddenly dropped off. I'm 35 now and the ROI got too low to fuck with. The maturity became an issue. I got a taste of Euro girls that were more mature, and could carry a convo on a subject other than Jersey Shore. The problem with college girls is I get older but they stay the same age. WTF?

I agree with gmanifesto. I've been seeing a bunch of excuses lately. I should be doing horrible with girls according to some guys on here. 5'8, skinny, not white. Just have some confidence and you can make magic happen cupcake.

lamo, I can get college girls but there are some, like the top 10% hotties that I feel like are a waste of time. Those are the ones I want. I'm not here looking for advice on how to get average chicks. I want to get some where I wake up in the morning I'm like, holy shit! I pulled that? It happens occasionally but not nearly often enough.

Dude, you're 28, don't tell me you can't dress and pretend that you're 21 or 22.
You have to make some guy friends with people in that age group and get them to take you to those college parties.
Its crazy how a guy with good game and a party vibe can run through a college party, I was out with a buddy of mine yesterday who has sharp game in a frat party and he made out with 6 girls and got a bj in the washroom all in the space of 30 minutes.

I just went to a college near me to study in the library, spit a couple lines at chicks near me. I met one in a cafe and have tentative plans to get drinks with her, solid 7.5 20 year old from a small town, in a sorority, and surprisingly nice and mature. I LOVE college campuses, and I'm surprisingly excited to get back in the college game. She may very well flake, but I'm hoping to get some bangs going. Girls in top sororities are not usually worth the effort. They are brainwashed into thinking that it's taboo to hook up with anyone outside their circle. And a lot more of them sound dumb as rocks. Girls in mid tier sororities and below are less cliquish, and more open-minded. Girls with fewer friends are easier prospects.

Don't try to 'maximize your close rate.' You'll just get frustrated. I prefer the shotgun approach (not to be confused with the Gunwitch method :: ) When girls are in my space, I'll casually spit a line or two at them. If they decide to continue the convo, great. If not, peace. You're like the crusty dude at the bar who says something clever to everyone who comes up and orders a drink. A few people decide to stay and meet this enigmatic fellow, but most don't. You're cool either way.

This was my approach at college house parties. Maybe I talked to 5 girls, maybe 20 in a night, but I'd post up and talk to whoever walked in until I got in deep with a cute girl who liked me.

I have a little experience with college day game, and even met my only ex girlfriend doing it, but haven't done it for a year now. If you have any constructive questions, ask.

I'm wondering how I can get into the house party scene. Best bet is befriending a cool dude probably, but I don't see an easy way of going about that, i.e. how to provide value to a guy so that he'd provide his bitches on a platter to you. The alternative is get in good with a cute chick, sexually or platonically, and work off that.

This sounds like a confidence issue to me for sure, unless for some reason you look MUCH older than your age. 28 is a perfect age for college girls. I was able to date girls in their early 20s well into my mid 30s, and even now in my late 30s it is not weird for me to date 25-28 yos.

I'm not wealthy, spectacularly good-looking, or built like a tank. If I can do it, you can do it.

And the thing about groups of college girls not making it easy for you to open - do you think they make it easy on any outsider? Unless you had massive social proof (e.g. on the college football team), it's not going to happen.

A lot of universities have continuing education classes. Take a couple of courses, having a reason to be on campus besides just picking up girls will give you more confidence.

Or just meet them off campus. They don't spend ALL their time at the university. Hang out at a coffee shop near the campus. Many of them get part time jobs, start talking to the girls at the nearby shops.

Just this saturday I met a girl who goes to one of the universities in town. She has just moved to the city, and was working at the mall, her third day on the job. Talked to her for a bit, got her facebook and phone number.

To me the 28 year old age bracket seems perfect (I'm not far off it), you're neither young nor old and can get with girls of all ages. Mature but not old fashioned, the younger girls won't think you're a creepy old man yet and the MILFs will still see you as a young toyboy.

This is funny - read this thread earlier today - have been trying to figure ways to nail a (any) college girl from a school I work by - so today I'm driving by the campus turning left behind a car - I cut the corenr a littel tight and holy $hit there is a [cute] girl right there!
