Most of the above posters have pointed out your (minor) errors but I still think you may have had the lay in the bag, but this was the make-or-break line:

Your response to that is probably what killed your chance. She is literally being a girl here and is looking for direction. Perfect opportunity for creating some kind of comfort and to easy her worry. Even Agree/Amplify may have worked in your favor.

This was your first mistake - making it seem like a pain in the ass to get to your place. It's the future we all have GPS in our pockets no need to explain where you live she has the address. Make it sound as simple as possible "right near the bus station" or whatever.

Possible she cooled off on wanting to meet you over the course of a few hours blended with a lack of comfort. These cats can scare off easy and it's often times not something you can totally control.

No other excuses internet sheets love to bang he just did not give her any help arriving to his location. Nothing more nothing less internet equals easy lay. Just give them helpful access to your unit, if you drove you could probably get head on your destination.

Yeah it was a stupid response. My intention was to respond in a way that would downplay the "seriousness" of the situation. However, instead I did the complete opposite and highlighted it. Wish I had sent one of your suggestions haha

It's so weird how difficult it can be to see how your txt messages can be perceived until someone else reads them, so thanks for that

I don't think a "what you up to" is a really good idea / good text for your specific scenario.

I would send something more unusual, eye catching or funny. Better yet send a picture.

Unless you banged her before or you know she's crazily/madly into you.
