I've lied a few times in the past. Then it felt beta so I stopped. Plus as I upped the quality I was staying in touch with girls more so it stopped making sense.

In my opinion it is the personal preferance of girls in any given country . Some girls like brunette , Medittaranean phenotype , some girls are even fond of body hair . However I have met italians, particularly North Italians and to some extent French people , specially among their youth , that love to claim being Europeans or From Europe, and they like to stress so much being "mitteleuropean" and not South European..... as if they are ashamed of being Latin Europeans and love to be equaled with Germanics like the Germans, Dutch or Scandinavians, because in their eyes those people are often perceived as more classically european, as in appearance (tall, blonde, big build), and in behaviour (they arent pushy with women, they are more likely to respect authority, they are overall more civilized even considering their body language and give more personal space to people). There is nothing worst for a Latin european than to be suggested he is a Turk or an Arab, however it would be ridiculous to suggest so, Italians are afteral Italians, and secondary they are mediterranean/Latin European people, because they share a similar (although far from being equal) culture with other Latin Euro countries like SPain,Greece ( I know Greeks are not Romance but hellenic, but you get my point), Portugal or Southern France.

Why would I lie about my nationality? I mean I never got Spain flag but I keep telling them that I'm Italian. I could easily tell them, I'm American to look more exotic to them since Italian-Spanish culture is similar but I don't.

Italy have great reputation all over the world, except maybe Spain-Portugal-France-Greece because cultures are more or less similar compared to USA-Italy but as I said, I never lied to any French girl about me being from United States when I'm from Italy.

I know this thread was intended for swarthier white guys but wanted to share something I've noticed lately.

Maybe it is just an American thing, who knows, but kinda notice that lately I have seen a lot of good looking tanned brunettes with blond guys. Almost every Italian, southern European or tanned white girl with dark hair I have known that was hot has had a thing for blond guys. Think Emily Ratajowski married some ogre looking blond dude recently to prove my point.

I wonder if it might be a cultural thing too because I even see "American" women with that sort of a look (however you wanna describe it, just "brunette?") going for blond and light haired dudes as well.

I've noticed when it comes to interracial relationships, I usually see gingers and blonde girls dating out, even when it is a brunette she is really pale skinned and Anglo looking. If there's no problem, why is Moroccan lying about being Italian? Tell her that you're from Casablanca and live happily after Why do you feel urge to lie? What phase do I need to go through, to think of telling someone that I'm from Morocco? I have no idea.

When a girl told me that her girlfriend has been dating with an Italian for 2 weeks, she took me to their table. I started to talk to him in Italian, his face was speechless At least, learn few words before pretending to be an Italian, man. All he was saying: Ciao, bella, come stai haha.

Then girl, herself, stood up from the table, proceed to bartender and asked him something about her boyfriend. Bartender had his credit card at the bar, she comes back and say "Ibrahim! Woaw what an Italian name." to him and they left him at the table by himself and we hung out together.

Plus, I get to have Poland flag right away once again

What was I supposed to do? I didn't go to their table by myself, a girl took me there. They said, Mario is Italian too and introduced me with him. Was I supposed to greet him with As-salamu alaykum? We don't really say that in Italian.

It wasn't really my idea to get up from table, go to bartender and ask for his credit card. His 2-week old girlfriend did that and she said: "Woaw Ibrahim, what an Italian name." It wasn't my idea really to get up and go to bar, get his credit card to read off of his name.

Be proud of where you are from. My college friend is from Abu Dhabi and he's first one to tell anyone that he's Arab, I know him for 12 years by now and he got laid everywhere, from Poland to Czech, from Ukraine to Spain. There's no reason to lie about where you are from. Girls don't care about where you are from, as long as, you carry yourself with confidence, being interesting and how to treat a woman. It's really sickening to see Arabs and Turks pretending to be Italian out there. Even most of Eastern European girls know that trick by now, they asked me to see my passport few times to believe me.

Feel free to expose me too, if you catch me saying "I'm from Morocco" to girls
