If I was in that situation in another country, I wouldn't dare do such a thing. One time at my local area I accidently messed up and couldn't get out of the way for someone else in time. I profusely appologized for being in the way.

Its a wonder she didn't get a beating on the beach.

If she doesn't want to wait for waves she is welcome to surf in Canada.

I used to go to Tofino every November for a week of surfing. No lines, maybe three or four others out there with some Orca. Her body size might be good thing in the 8 degree water, but it also might attract large predators to the break.

Surfing is hard if you don't have waves in your area. You end up in not so sexy locations like Tasmania or Ireland to escape getting punched out by Australians but then you lose out on girls who travel to sexy surf spots like Bali to fuck surfers.

I see your perspective and its funny because I see the occasional girl at my locale and its without a doubt always some other guys gf. I dont rip but once I get better id love to try running some game inspite of the gf thing.i've never seen a girl out by herself.

I wouldn't say all but most are that way. I watched a video with Coco ho for example she never had a boyfriend for a while and for her it seems like a family thing. I actually respect her just for the family she comes from and thus she seems respectable because her father was there.

another crazy sexism thing in surfing: the cameras in the pro league no longer zoom in on girls in bikinis while they're duck diving,turns,etc so if they wear a bikini instead of boardshorts its less camera time

Thats a good example of the opposite of what I said. Coco ho's family is surfing royalty. Guys like her dad and uncle get waves til their worn out at pipe. They show the respect right back though. Thats the trick.

There's a few girls that I've seen out that impressed me. The one armed girl was good. Alana Blanchard was so bad it made no sense, but great titties.

If a girl is going really far outside like that she's probably in it for the sport.

Not something to take lightly. You're already really worn out getting out there,have to paddle for waves,and paddle back. Most girls dont have the mental resolve to stay calm and the strength to make it back (heck most guys dont).
If one little thing goes wrong it just makes things a lot fucking worse being deep out there. Plus you have boats and jetskis to dodge.

Most girls won't go really far out solo and nobody would take somebody far outside unless they can hang

That's what we call "outer reefs" which is a big line that States a little past my house in Waialua and extends all up to Laie Point. That's tow-in area if its big. I drive and pull my friends but I can't get on a board like!that anymore. Somebody out that far has to know what they are doing. Just by the fact that they know that spot is there.

There's a subset of Japanese women that get really into certain sports. There's a lady that lives near me that dresses up like freaking Lance Armstrong and!rides some high tech bike for miles. She's super fit, and has all her super fit Japanese fiftyxyear old friends over. They add the Japanese seriousness to otherwise extreme type sports. I know another Japanese lady like that that is a big windsurfer.

Kauai has gotten rocked recently with bad rain. All different parts of the island are cut off.

Guy who dropped in on her was a dick .especially after kicking his board at her (you only deserve that if you snake someone) - she had priority.

I can sympathize being frustrated that your local break is over run with tourists, but if you’re the owner of a surf school, you should know better

I’ve been guilty of dropping in on strangers mostly because I thought they weren’t going to make the section, but when I saw they would I’d either kick out or wave my hands in an apologizing manner

Damn that's sweet. Laird is the man and a genuine pioneer. Cool to see such a legend take the time to do that.

Rescues are awesome. I have trouble having empathy for other people but that feeling after a good rescue is the best feeling on earth. Id take a day Riding around on a ski getting rescues any time.
