I pose this question to the forum...

Normally my text messages, FB messages, and everything else are completely non-sexual. It's all normally logistics, followed by some witty banter. Incredibly benign. "hey" "cool" "good stuff" "awesome sauce" etc.

Lately I've been experimenting around and getting way more sexual. "i want to tie you up, blindfold you, and do dirty things to you all night".

Seems to be actually working.

What is your experience with this? How sexual do you get in texts?

It works and I do it often, but only when I have established that the girl is into BDSM. (Which is consistent with the example you give). It can make girls crazy with excitement.

That is what spawned this post.

Girl was like "I'm into BDSM."

Then she was like "I don't know how sexually I'm into you."

So, very outside my nature, I sent her a text saying how I want to tie her up, blindfold her, and go from there.

This is very effective because there is less resistance to escalation over text. Then, the woman has a tendency to act consistent with her prior statement. Cialdini has a chapter on this in his book Influence.

The key is you want them to make statements. You have to prompt them, so start with something like "You seem like the adventurous type, am I right?" etc etc. Its not what you say, its what you get her to say.

Second, avoid sexting. Once you go there, they have gotten what they wanted, and the lead will be dead.

I do a lot of BDSM so I can usually spot if the girl is into it or not. The best predictor is ‘Openness to Experience’ (look for arty emotional girls). In this case they are expecting a proof that you can dominate them, and sexting is a good method. However, if in doubt, avoid. It’s pretty risky. Not to mention that execution is key; if you sound ridiculous and contrieved it isn’t in your favour. If you can get the date without sexting don’t push your luck. But sometimes it will get you the date.

Text game is always a tough topic because its normally the determinant if the girl 'would agree to meet you' and we all don't want to fuck it up by being too overly sexual.

However, look at it the other way, being sexual establishes your frame early into the interaction and its best used for girls that you wouldn't mind banging but wouldnt be kicking yourself in the leg if you didnt.

Its normal to think that by being too overly sexual, it scares the cat but girls love it, especially if they're interested in you. Its 2018. The days of "just keep it strictly logistics" are over. You can increase your odds by throwing in some sexual innuendo. As previously said, too much sex talk makes you needy. Done just right turns a maybe girl into a yes girl.

Lets add some value to this thread. One of the many techniques I like to do via text is play this game called WYR or (would you rather) when i'm bored. I've actually gotten compliments on using that line, believe it or not.

It's completely incongruent with my personality (degrees in philosophy, theology, and law), which is why I think it works sometimes.

Hey, speaking of sexually explicit texts, this reminds me of my own little text exchange I had with a female friend. I think the better question is if you yourself get turned on by sexting and if you like it? Don't do it for her.

I've come across a few girls that seem to like this stuff but rarely has it been that fun for me. Good question. Thinking about it, I burned myself more often by sexualizing on messages than I gained from it.

The logic is simple, because of internet, every chode beta male sitting on his toilet seat can sexualize by IMs or Tinder like he was a real life alpha chad. So its hard to differentiate yourself. But in real life, since you can hold eye contact more than 2 seconds, you are ok.
