They start leaning into the girl power stuff around ep 6 and 7. The new chick Tory (Peyton List) kicks dudes so hard they go spinning through the air. The show's still good but not as great as last season.

The first season had that scene where Johnny is watching Iron Eagle - that was one of the most creative scenes I've seen in a long while. This one has a road trip with a cancer friend who dies. Maybe I didn't like it because my mom just died of cancer, but it also wasn't well written or acted.

I enjoyed season 2. I have no problem with the Tory character, she's actually pretty strong looking for a female. The season ridiculed the SJW nonsense and I didn't see any sprinkling of that in. If it did then they did it tastefully with lesbian teenage girls, which is pretty normal for teenage high school girls.

I have just finished watching Cobra Kai Season 2 and it is already getting filled with SJW stupidity. A new girl named Tory is introduced into the Cobra Kai dojo and she's shown defeating so many male opponents despite her lack of testosterone. Hawk is portrayed as developing toxic masculinity just because he gave his pussy Game of SJW Thrones loving friend an ass whupping for dissing Cobra Kai online and for this, his girlfriend dumps him despite the fact the he became a redpill and badass punk rocker. Then Johnny Lawrence kicks out his old mentor and co-sensei John Kreese for instilling redpill high testosterone lessons to his students like showing no mercy and SJW faggoty "empathy".

You'd get more redpilled and badass studying the Advanced Commando Combat System or the Linear Infighting Neural Override Engagement combat systems of the U.S. military than studying this pussified SJW version of karate shown on this pussified SJW show. At least military hand-to-hand combat is proven to work because its used by the Commandos and Marines, you get to wear fatigues and combat boots while training, learn techniques designed to kill opponents, and learn to fight with non-lethal and lethal close combat weapons.

Season 1 was awesome. I watched the first season 2 episode and was like meh. I probably won't subscribe for the rest based on the comments here.

I just finished Season 2. I actually got offered some sort of Colombian deal on youtube red for a month.

Granted I grew up a huge Karate Kid Fan but I liked Season 2.

It has way too much in terms of women fighting, I wouldn't call it SJW. It mocks the SJW stuff as much as anything, but it does have way too much girl power.
It reeks of 80s nostalgia, and does it well, which I enjoy.
The character of Johnny lets them get away with lots of good comedy, they depict him as a guy fully frozen in the 80s.

The main characters to me are Still Johnny L, Danny L and the two boys. Season 2 holds up in my opinion.

I´m almost finished watching season 2, but basically, they fucked it up.
I´ll do a more detailed write up in a few days.
Unfortunately, what started as a rescue of traditional masculine, 80s values and culture became watered down SJWism, white knighting, girl power, etc.

Finished season 2 the other day. Not as good as season 1, but not as bad as i feared.

Only things that bugged me was some brief girl power moments(especially Tory's introduction), Johnny slowly goin soft, Hawk getting humiliated, Robby getting cucked, and Kreese given a humiliating backstory.

The highlights for me was still the rivalry between Johnny and Daniel, Kreese's moments, and the fight in the last episode. I'll be honest though, I don't care much for the whole "balance" theme they're building up to, i mostly just liked watching an old school anti PC guy teaching pussy gen Z kids how to fight. I hope the next season is the last, I really don't want the show to get any worse.

Ok, just finished watching episode 7, and am honestly not motivated to watch the series any further.

Season 1 was a breath of fresh air.
It was like going back to the 80s culturally speaking: the hero is a masculine, anti PC guy who likes hot chicks, rock bands and martial arts.
He straightens up nerdy, faggy kids, toughens them up until they actually start succeeding in life.

Season 1´s success was a huge slap in the face of PC narrative.
The story was addictive, so much so that I binge watched every episode in 2 days and was sad when I got to the end.
It felt like watching an 80s action film shot in the present day.

Season 2 is a slow descent into PC culture.
The macho Cobra Kai attitude is slowly being identified with toxic masculinity, Johnny (who started off as a masculine guy who took no shit) is starting to become more of a white knight who knows full contact karate and likes 80s films (at one point, he starts dating a single mom and defends a skank at a bar).

There´s also lots of girl power.
Tory and Sam, the 2 most prominent girls in the series, never lose a fight.
They are actually superior to every boy, even the best students at each karate school.

Kreese, the Cobra Kai sensei from the original Karate Kid films is depicted as a bit of a psychopath/toxic male instead of a badass war hero, and he is also given a pretty loser, destitute past instead of the success he deserves.

Also, the biggest badass from Cobra Kai (Hawk) is portrayed as an extremist, nazi type and loses the final fight.

I won´t be watching anymore of this series.
It was a huge let down to see the producers giving in to political correctness.

Did you watch the final episode? The final episode lesson is very red pill and leaves a bunch of cliffhangers for the next season. The lesson negates some of the stuff you talk about.

I'd recommend cold turkey NoFap once you start obsessing about the proportions of a chicks face, no offence dude. Give it about three months and fully clothed 6/10's will start to look hot, its more natural that way.

Also the reason the students look scrawny is because most of the actors are teens, and teens tend to look 12 when they're on screen. In the original movies the students were in their mid 20's.

I do agree Danny could use some mass gainer though.
