Yes, to the question... And you're correct in the other case. It is, what's considered, an emergency ration. But it's really kinda good... I really love Spam. It's kinda shitty right out of the can, but fried... Mmmmmm... (I would never eat it now).

Also, when fishing with my dad on the boat and we ate sardines and spam and drank beer. When I was young... Yeah, pretty manly.

If you are gonna start debbling in the spam, I suggest starting with a musubi.



I eat a rather healthy fish only diet, but maybe once a week I'll eat one of those. The rice kills the post-spam greasiness you normally feel after eating the stuff.

Another option is spam fried to hell with eggs and oatmeal in the morning. Then pour Mae ploy on the spam.

It generates its own oil. You don't have to add any

I love it too. I have it with eggs, or in a sandwich with cheddar or Colby cheese, (mayo on the cheese side and mustard on the spam side).

Spam with Macaroni and Cheese is great. I cube the spam and fry it so the cubes are crispy on the outside. I saute some onions with the spam while it's frying. I use Kraft mac and cheese, but add some cheese of my own to enhance the sauce. Cheddar is good, but I found Kerrygold Dubliner cheese is particularly good with this. Mix all this up, and you're in Spam heaven!

This is probably the best thread on this site. The last bit is super relevant right now with automation being all the rage with Andrew Yang. I'm a bit cautious of Andrew Yang tho. In a few of his talks he mentions "friends" in Silicon Valley, so out of curiosity, I did a bit of research. It appears that he is 'associated' or related in some respect with a radical techno/biological agenda/vision developed at Stanford University which seeks to "cleanse" humanity and replace human government with an AI super brain.

Apparently, these Silicon Valley/Palo Alto/Stanford guys have discovered what they believe is the root cause of all health and societal problems:

I believe their plan is to wipeout conservatives, queers, Nazis, white supremacist, pedophiles, criminals, social rejects, rapist, assholes, losers, etc, etc with full scale analysis of bacteria/fungi influences on diseases/brain development/civilization. Game changing science is showing that our destinies are not written in our genes but our in microbiome. This extends to the brain development and extend of the immune assisted/driven pressures to see the world as dangerous, anxiety inducing, PTSD, etc neuro-wiring intensity amplifiers, which connections are over developed or underdeveloped.

An solidly research example of this is the “gay” flipped sex-designation attraction region of brain (flipped being descriptive in that males and female brains regions that form the basic response the opposite sex, resemble the opposite sex’s brain region) due to a pathogen. Full on gay attraction would suggest natal infection or a neonatal infection with viruses that are known to alter the hormones too.





They'll say conservatives/others have "bad" bacteria or some pathogen and send these people to treatment "centers" to have their microbiome re-balanced with or replaced with a fecal transplant. If they refuse, they'll be quarantined/locked away with new laws. The only problem with Spam is a lack of imagination from its marketers. If it were only rebranded as anything else, it would quickly stop being an object of derision that it is now.
