If the Venn diagram can so easily include Uber drivers AND serfs, then you may as well throw in 99.9999999% of all people in human history, too.

Fact is, 99.99999% of people in history actually were serfs more-or-less.

Of course many men driver Uber and there is a good reason for them to do this given the job market out there and the versatility of the job, but seriously we should not praise another globo-homo business model that gives more to the 0,01% while taking away from the 99,9%.

Corporate culture aside, the ride share model is more efficient. Just like snail mail gave way to email, the age of taxis is coming to an end eventually. Sure there will still be instances where taxis serve a niche purpose.

I for one cant criticize someone for succeeding raising themselves by their bootstraps from the 99% to the 1% via the free markets. That desire, the entrepreneurial spirit, built modern civilization

Has his own location independent business. That way he doesn't have to answer to a boss, nor to a community or government that he's bound to for financial reasons. If he doesn't like the rules in his local community he simply leaves for another one. Maybe in another state, or maybe in another country. The problem is that achieving a location independent business that you can support yourself on is very difficult. That's why so few people (myself included) even attempt to do it.

I made up my mind after seeing that Singaporean video. We need another global financial crisis or a world war. When times are good, woman are absolute cunts. Fortunately, another big recession is on the horizon.

The driver needs some deescalation training. He didn't have to go accusatory on her, just explain the facts and ask her to leave and if she doesn't leave call the police to intervene. He's lucky she didn't kick his car or threw something at it and caused damage. He's obviously not a chad, she was calling him a bitch the whole time.
