Lately, I find myself doing this more and more... taking women on a date to the gym. It's usually a second date or for LTRs / FWBs.

Instead of taking them out to a restaurant or another bar, lately I've been bringing them to the gym.

Why?

- It costs me nothing
- If it sucks, I still get a workout in
- It makes the date actually fun, instead of trying to gin up some awkward conversation
- Incredibly easy to escalate

The method:

Tell them you want to hang out, but you're trying to workout. Then tell them to come to the gym with you. For whatever reason, they almost always agree. Conversation is usually like this...

"chu doin"
"I'm doing my hair, maybe going to drink some wine tonight and watch girly movies with my roommates."
"coolio. im gonna hit the gym"
"Fun!"
"i bet you can't even do stairs for more than 5 minutes"
"What? I'd kick your ass on the stair machine!"
"ha, i bet. tell u what. i'm leaving in 30, come with and watch me destroy you on the stair stepper"
"You're on, Mister!"

Basically, keep it light, fun, and challenge her to something.

When you get to the gym, make it fun. Have some competitions. Who can run on the treadmill longer? Who can do more steps? Who can finish a circuit training workout quicker? If you go to a fancy place (not necessary for our purposes), play some racquet ball, basketball, squash, or race swimming laps. Whatever. This kind of shit gets ginas tingling like you wouldn't believe.

Usually they'll want to do their own thing for a bit, as do I. I'll go lift weights and listen to my headphones; they'll go do abs, yoga, rowing, or other shit for awhile. Letting them wander around without you hovering sends a total message of non-neediness. If you're a a decent weight lifter, she'll actually be turned on watching you throw around some big plates (don't be a douche about it -- just do it). Same thing if you're athletic and can throw a basketball or play racquetball.

It helps if you know the staff by first name and they like you, just like if you go to a restaurant / bar.

Once you're finished, tell her you need to get a shower at your place or hers.

Chances are the sexual tension is so high by this point you'll end up banging in the shower.

This has been working for me lately.

Yeah I used to take chicks bouldering, then bring them upstairs to box on the pads (they could watch me work the bag). Usually go for a light kiss in the gym itself and take em straight home.

What I've found is they get hooked very quick.

"Hank, I want to go to the gym with you again! Can we go on Tuesday??"

They love going to the gym with someone who knows what they're doing.

Specific activities I like doing with them:

- Heavy bag / speed bag
- Swimming laps
- Racquetball
- Stair stepper / treadmill
- Circuit training

Then I'll usually tell them to do their own thing for a few while I lift. They'll watch what I'm doing and it always results in "Wow, I didn't know you could lift that much weight. Isn't that dangerous? Blah blah blah."

It's been good because it attracts the types of girls I want - fit ones. I brought one plate to the gym and even swimming a few laps was too much for her. Spent the entire time in the cafe area drinking coffee. I immediately knew it was going nowhere.

Putting a date in an environment of alphas, giving her eye candy is not a good idea. Especially when there's a wolf pack of douche bags.

Yeah but Hank goes to the bougie gyms that cost as much as the douche bags steroid cycles


Anyway, there is alot of truth in the OP, not just for gym but really any physical activity that gets her moving will turn her on. No more dinner dates! Plus after the workout you have an excuse to invite her over to cook a healthy meal for her.

Eh, I am the alpha. If you're worried that a plate is going to leave you for other guys at the gym, pardon my candor, but you have self esteem issues and need to work on your game. On a scale of 1-10, I am absolutely worried a 0 that she's eyeing up other men or going to leave with someone else.

That aside, gym game actually worked great today. She was running on the track, comes down, and says "Hank, can you show me how to use the weights and the machines?" (after watching me throw heavy plates around for a few minutes).

Kino was too easy.

"This works this muscle. Can you feel it here? No, you're using your arms too much. Lower the weight. You should feel it here."

Back to the Moody dome for a healthy post-workout brunch, mimosas, and a shower.

Too easy.

After I take her home, "I had so much fun today!!"

This is a good idea I've dabbled in this on the high end back when I was working at a country club style gym,and also have done it at the low end with workouts by the beach. Would probably work but any area where they hang out at like a park but if you live by the beach it works pretty well to.

You don't have to be a big dude for this to work either. Just know a discipline very well. A gym date could be anything from doing stand up paddle boarding,to tennis,basic strength work like doing a push up(properly hopefully...),sprinting,lifting weights,"learning how to punch",swimming in the pool,in the ocean etc.

When I've done this, it's always my favorite date as well. However, what do you do to get girls into your gym? Do you have them get a guest pass, or do the employees usually let your guest in since you know them? (repeatedly?)

Do you just buy a second membership and keep your rotation of girls coming on a second membership?

I go to La fitness and they usually check. Gonna see if I can talk to a buddy that works there about getting a second membership without a photo on there or something so I can start doing this more often

Most gyms will let new potential members do a trial workout. Some might require her to fill in a form.

I rarely spend enough time in one city/place to make friends with the gym staff, but the alternative is to go to a large chain gym that makes you fairly anonymous. Walk up to the reception and say that your friend is considering joining and would like a trial run where you show her around.

I can't imagine any gym having issues with you showing a potential new customer around. If you get comments that you bring several people, just say that you deserve a commission for promoting them to your friends!

Edit: For girls that want to join you repeatedly, just tell them to join the gym. That's another advantage of a large chain. They normally have several gyms in a city, so she can go to one near her place regularly and to yours when you go together.

Depends on your membership. If you payed money to include bringing a guest for free it will be free. If you did not you'll have to pay the guest fee.

My gym partner is having some serious health issues and he's letting me use his membership as a second one. He continues to pay the bill because he's got a locker with his name on it next to mine and doesn't want to lose it, so the staff doesn't care. I also have a ton of guest passes - they accumulate every month.

If my buddy gets back to good health, which I pray he does, I'd probably just get a regular second membership for clients / women. My guests get all the executive privileges.

My gym is my home away from home -- they do your laundry, shine your shoes, give you a locker with your name on it, wireless internet, cable TV, free combs, grooming products, permanent locker, etc. Meaning I can wear a suit and tie and not carry around a gym bag all day. I can workout early in the morning, do my work for a few hours, and then head into the office.

It's actually a great way to bond with clients, too. "Let's go talk business over a game of racquetball." Clients love going to the gym just as much as women do.

Interesting take on this. Can't say I have done this or even seen this myself, however I do recall seeing guys working out with their gf in the gym in past years, and very quickly observing them interact you could see who the dominant person was in the relationship. The women often had shifting eyes, and enjoyed the attention they received from other men. The guys often were dating out of their league from a looks perspective, and seemed to either become paranoid or stick by the girls every move.

Only did this once, worked well.

I understand Sarmale's concerns about other buffed dudes around.
From my experience, men are not here to talk to chicks who are already with a man.
Might differ in other gyms, but in mine there's a good bro-vibe, wether it's about girls or sharing equipment / cleaning it after exercice.
If your game is on point, the girl won't take time to eye other dudes.
Kino is indeed very easy in the context.

I like doing outdoor things like basketball or tennis etc when it's warm and have found a lot of success in that. You're sweating, neither of you is wearing much, you go inside for drinks and a cooldown, it's gonna happen.
