This is very true, and also consider that since Turkish guys tend to relentlessly monitor and vet their gfs phones -- awellunderstoodincel's post attest to their levels of butthurt and protectiveness over banging 'their' girls-- we will tend to get less numbers from interested/ultimately unavailable girls. So, a newbie daygamer will be discouraged because he's not getting a flow of false positives or 'in the moment girls' in order to massage his ego so he can keep grinding-- he wants to play every hand. However, an experienced guy will be better able to deal with it because he's happy to keep folding hands until he hits something he can play with.

Can someone help me out, how do you use a UK debit card to withdraw money with the least commision in Turkey, is it better to select pounds or Lira when it asks you at the cash machine? Also are there any ways to get 0 commision or as little as possible, my bank branches are non existent in Istanbul.

There are many ATMs that will issue you dollars and euros in Istanbul. For example there's one right next to Galata tower and others on istiklal. Use those and get currency (USD or Euro) and then change for Turkish lira at a decent exchange bureau-- their spreads aren't bad in Istanbul. My guess is even with a UK card your bank's rate from GBP to USD/EUR plus translation into TL at an exchange willbetter than GBP to TL direct from an ATM. But you can check this before doing it. Anyway you can use the EUR on future trips somewhere so no biggie if you end with some Euros.

If you can get GBP at an ATM in Istanbul then please let us know where.

On no account whatsoever should you select the "own currency" option at an ATM with the guaranteed rate -- it's usually at a terrible rate. Always take the currency conversion from your bank and NOT the guaranteed rate at the ATM.

I really enjoy Istanbul as a city, always had a good time there.

Now I've never actually lived there, only visited a few times, so what do I really know.
But based on my experience, I wouldn't stay in the area around Taksim Square/Istiklal, it's full of overpriced tourist traps, there are scammers searching for victims (of course that's true for every part of the city with lots of tourists), and some parts are pretty shady.
I would stay in Besiktas, Nisantasi or Ortaköy for example. (Kadiköy also seems nice, but it's on the Asian side and I guess there's just not much happening there.)

Also, a guy who can't believe that you can meet and bang some nice local girls in this city as a foreigner, if you put in the effort, is most definitely Turkish. Madonna-whore dichotomy is off the charts with those guys.

In general, it's true that Turkish girls are like the other Mediterranean girls. Already tough nuts to crack, but then add Islam to the equation on top of that.

But here's the thing, there's 15 million people living in Istanbul. That's a lot of people, more than many of the smaller countries in the world actually. Anyone who doesn't believe that you can find two or three girls among them who will be interested and open minded enough to have a good time with a visiting foreigner needs a fucking reality check. And thanks to the subtle Islamic/Secular fault lines in Turkish society, they are not that hard to find and will self-segregate from the hardcore Muslims, both in appearance and geographically.
Very convenient.

And by the way, don't get me started on Turkish girls travelling abroad, all bets are off with those. Lots of repressed urges breaking free.

You don't need to have model looks, you don't need to be rich. You need some game, a positive mindset and to be non-judgemental, since that is one of the main reasons Turkish girls will be interested in you.
